Thais was with us for 6 weeks and was a truely exceptional doula. She was extremely knowledgeable about breastfed, sleep training and infant behavior. She had an infant weigh scale and so we were able to track growth even outside of doctors visits. When I had breastfeeding issues she was able to troubleshoot with me and ultimately referred me to an excellent lactation consultant. When she was with my baby, I 100% felt confident that my baby was in good hands and was able to sleep peacefully and deeply between feedings. She also took the time to meet with me even before baby was born to make sure I had all the supplies I need and that my questions were answered. I would definitely hire her again for another child!

I had a prenatal consultation with Thais. She is very kind and welcoming.

She explained everything very well and made me practice each step to make sure I really understood how to take care of a newborn as well as how to prepare for breastfeeding.

Her guidance made me feel more confident and prepared for some of the challenges of this new journey.

I absolutely recommend Thais as a doula to any parent whether or not you already have kids. Thais started working with our twin boys a couple days after we got home from the hospital and we were so glad to have her around to show us how to handle newborns. One baby is hard enough but when you have two newborns to take care of at once, many things are much more complicated. We owe it to Thais for getting us through the early weeks when we barely knew how to swaddle, change diapers, and breastfeed. She helped us set up a system to operationalize tasks like making formula, feeding, and bottle washing, arranging our changing station optimally etc.We learned a lot from her which made taking care of twins more manageable when we are on our own. Thais is super knowledgeable all of her proactive guidance has aligned with what our pediatrician and other medical professionals have suggested. This is no surprise as she attends workshops and genuinely takes an interest in expanding her knowledge in the world of prenatal/postpartum care in general. We ran into multiple issues when it comes to breastfeeding, and from latching, calming/supporting the baby/mom, to gentle suggestions on seeking further evaluations by pediatric dentist for tongue/lip ties, our twin boys would not have made the same progress in terms of growth and weight gain if we didn't have her working with us. Thais is super on time and professional, she does a thorough home visit to get to know you prior to her start date, and I highly recommend using that time to go through as many details you can think of including what's on your baby registry to avoid buying things that you won't actually need (super helpful for us as first time parents). She's very easy to work with and I really think we were so lucky to have found her.

We absolutely loved working with Thais! She is incredibly knowledgable, kind, and gentle - the perfect traits you’d look for in a doula. She supported us during our first month with our baby and she exceeded all expectations. She started on our first night home from the hospital and helped us on so many fronts right away. I had to take a break from breastfeeding due to latching issues so she set up my breast pump (that alone saved me so much stress since I was running on zero hours of sleep!), got our bottles cleaned/set up, and put me on a pumping schedule to ensure my supply came in. She also showed us how to best bottlefeed in the interim (more nuances there than you would think!) and helped us understand some potential factors that could be contributing to our latch challenge and things we could try to improve it. She really got us off to a strong start and the support only continued from there. Every night we worked with her, she’d start by doing a thorough check in to see how baby was doing and how feeding was going so she could understand progress and offer guidance. At the end of the night when I was pumping, she’d give an overview of how things went - sharing tips on things that worked for feeding/sleeping and other helpful observations. Overall she is really knowledgeable and wants to get to know your baby and your situation to help your family be successful. We ended up having some more nuanced feeding challenges and a respiratory issue that landed us in the NICU for a few days and she wanted to be as informed as possible so she could offer the best support. We learned so much from her and she helped us become confident parents - we couldn’t recommend her more!

Thais worked for us as a postpartum night doula starting the night we were discharged from the hospital and for 40+ nights. Thais was professional, experienced, and extremely caring. I trusted her with every aspect of caring for my baby. She was punctual, reliable, and an excellent communicator.  I appreciated that she visited our home before the baby was born to orient me to breastfeeding and other aspects of baby care, make sure I had the right supplies I needed, and gave me tips on everything such as the best diaper rash cream etc so I was completely prepared. I also greatly appreciated that she made every effort to be available the night we were released from the hospital as she knew this was important and boy was she right! I learned so much from having her with us from the outset - from the proper way to burp, swaddle, bathe, breastfeeding position, pumping and bottle feeding advice. Inumerable other little and big tips. There isn't an aspect of baby care that she didn't help me with. The breastfeeding support and advice was invaluable, and thankfully we had a very smooth journey with her support. And plus, we got a lot more sleep than we would have!! Thank you so much Thais - we look forward to working with you for baby number 2, god willing!

Thais was a wonderful help to our family for so many nights. She is a baby whisperer and was so reliable and kept our baby safe and happy and quiet for many nights after he was born. She was also willing to give above and beyond and would find our laundry clean and folded. The first few months with a new baby are so stressful and she and it much easier and more restful. And she had great ideas around helping our baby eat and sleep. Thank you Thais!!

Thais was an incredible help after the birth of my son. Not only was working with her beforehand a smooth and convenient process, she was also incredibly helpful when my son was born 3 weeks early. She went out of her way to come round the night we got out of the hospital to check in, even if she couldn't stay.  When she did come to stay with us, we were lucky to get two weeks of her time (10 nights). Thais offered advice as well as hands on help, even making special post partum ice pads for me. She was the only one to catch my sons tongue tie (doctors, hospital, LC) all missed it. Highly recommend!

We love Thais, she is an amazing Doula and I remember looking forward to seeing her daily. She's very passionate about her work and very trustworthy. Thais supported my husband and I as a post partum night Doula for our first baby. Both my husband and I were completely inexperienced with what to expect and how to handle a new born and Thais was the main reason why the first few weeks post partum were smooth. She understands babies well and always new exactly what our daughter needed. She looked after all the needs for the little one including bath, sleep, burp, pacifying when crying.. you name it. Thais helped us through breastfeeding challenges. To suppport my post partum recovery she would make me  breakfast, cleanup all the baby things and basically just wanted to help reduce the load for me as much as she could. She was also a friend when I needed in those first few weeks, I feel lucky that we had Thais as our Doula.

Thais was a lifesaver for us with our third baby. She was professional, prompt, experienced and exceptionally knowledgeable. It was immediately clear that she knew what she was doing, and I was able to get sleep with my heart and mind at ease as a mom. She is also super kind and helpful with meals,  advice and support with everything postpartem, especially breastfeeding. She's very caring and follows up via text and email to see how the baby and family are doing.

The most unexpected surprise was getting help for baby's sleep. Thais advised us on sleep hygiene and helped us implement measures to help baby sleep, such as lighting sound, and routine. Our reflux baby now sleeps through the night (about 12 hours) on most nights and is just short of 4 months.

Thais has been awesome and we couldn't feel  luckier for having had her in those early months.

We were lucky to have found Thais.  She helped us with our newborn. My husband and I were struggling with no sleep and also taking care of our 4 year old. With Thais's help caring for our newborn, we were able to dedicate our time to our toddler and get a full night rest. Thais is knowledgeable and makes helpful recommendations. We wish we could have her with us long term!

Thais was a much needed support as we welcomed our 3rd. He experienced latching issues and she was a calm presence as we navigated finger feeding, to SNS - never pushing too hard such that he was able to latch in week 3 and has been nursing well since. Thais was considerate of our whole family’s needs, not just mom & baby, which has really set us up for success (even giving helpful suggestions for potty training our 3year old). I love that every night we started with a game plan conversation about how the night would go / any new challenges we were facing.

We had such a great experience with Thais as our postpartum doula. The first night that she met us, she made us so comfortable and put our baby to sleep in the bassinet right away. We learned so much from her about baby care, latest products and absolutely everything. She took really good care of me and helped with lactation support as I was breastfeeding. She truly cared for our son. We really appreciated the sleep we got in the early days!

I was very fortunate to have met Thais and had her help with me with my second baby. After having my first baby and realizing how stressful it can be, I decided it would be worth it to hire an doula this time around. I've tried everything in the past - the SNOO, so many sacks and swaddles on the market, and even TakingCaraBaby classes but none of that worked. Thais was ready to help and was so easy to work with. She was phenomenonal with my newborn and got her to sleep so well throughout the night right from the beginning. My LO now is sleeping 7-8 hour stretches at 2.5 months! Thais also taught me a lot of tips and tricks for breastfeeding and how to care for my LO's baby acne issues. I highly recommend her and would hire her again!

Thais was our night nanny for four weeks in October 2022 from the time my daughter was born. She was a saving grace in our household with a new baby. Since this is our first child we didn't know what we were doing and breastfeeding was scary and new to me. Thais was always hands on and patient helping us through everything related to the baby or my well-being as a new mom. For example one night she stepped in the door and immediate dropped everything to show us how to bathe the baby. She was always punctual and a great communicator in case something changes with our normal schedule. Thais also made tasty and nutritious foods (overnight oats, beef stew, waffles, lactation cookies) for me to build my milk supply. During middle of the night feeds she was wonderful company and made those long nights more bearable. Because of Thais' help we got through the toughest newborn days much more smoothly and her expertise gave us peace of mind with our newborn. We are so grateful for her help in sleep training our baby from the earliest days- teaching her how to fall asleep on her own. If we have a second child I would hire Thais again in a heartbeat!

As a first time mom, the lack of sleep deprivation was really taking over me more than I anticipated. My husband and I were desperate for sleep to recharge so we could give our best to our son and each other. Thais cared for our son from about 6-9 weeks a few nights a week. She was really great with him and followed our usual routine while also giving us great suggestions and feedback. My son warmed to her right away and she was able to handle his reflux since she had her own experience with her daughter. She saved us! I would definitely recommend her she is very sweet with good energy and professionalism.

We decided to hire a doula because I had a c-section and needed a good night rest in order to take care of My older daughter during the day. I thought I knew everything about babies but Thais have so much experience and knowledge that it definitely made a difference during the 3 moths she helped us. When I needed assistance because I wasn't able to breastfeed she was there to help. Then my baby had eczema she found a way to help. And she was able to help my baby sleep through the night before she was 3 moths old. She made a huge difference in our lives.
