Training offered

Childbirth Professionals International (CPI) offers an in person training that includes both birth and postpartum training. The doula birth and postpartum certification program is internationally recognized and prepares doulas for an amazing and rewarding career supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Participants will also learn strategies to build a successful doula business.

Summary of qualifications

Sue Chargo has over 20 years experience as a Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Birth Doula and Certified Postpartum Doula. She also holds a Master's Degree in Family Education.

Style of teaching

Sue is passionate about teaching. Before working in the birth world she was an elementary school teacher for many years. Sue understands that everyone has different learning styles so she uses a variety of methods to connect to her learners. The workshops utilize a mixture of powerpoint, videos, activities, hands-on practice and group discussions.
