Hiring Jenn was the best decision I made for my pregnancy and birth experience. There are no words to describe how special working with Jenn is. Jenn calmed every single fear that came up, was so thoughtful with her responses, and answered promptly every single time. Having Jenn in our back pocket while I was getting induced was worth its weight in gold. I was so scared and Jenn calmed my nerves and walked me through everything. I recommend working with Jenn wholeheartedly. She is warm, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and is a fantastic companion to have by your side throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth. She even makes appoint to check in on you postpartum. 10000/10 recommend!

Jenn is amazing! I was nervous about getting a doula, but I am so glad I did! Jenn was supportive of me, and made my husband feel comfortable as well. She was always available to answer questions or worries I had, and she was equally soothing and sassy. After my first birth experience going less than stellar, I am so glad I found Jenn to support me during my second birth. We met in persona few times beforehand, and she was so easy to get along with! She held my hand and calmed me during my C-section, and stayed after the birth to make sure I was okay. She was my advocate and voice, so that my husband could focus on me, and the entire experience was so much less stressful because she was there. She was a wealth of information, and it was so nice to have a third party who wasn't having the baby or delivering the baby, to give us honest feedback and info. Honestly, I don't know if I could have done it without her. Thank you Jenn for everything-you're the best!

We started looking for a doula when we found out we were pregnant with our first child. Jenn came recommended by another doula who wasn’t available, and from our first meeting with Jenn we felt comfortable and at ease. If you are looking for a doula who is completely non-judgmental, will provide evidence-based information, and is connected to resources in the community, Jenn is the birth partner for you. She was organized, reliable, and empathetic throughout our pregnancy.
When I started laboring at home, Jenn was available via phone for advice and support, and met us at the hospital when the time came to bring our son into the world. At the hospital she was indispensable, supporting us with communicating our birth plan to the care team, helping me with coping strategies, and making me laugh when I needed the levity. After four hours of labor, our son was born, and Jenn took some incredible photos of our new family of three. She stayed long enough to make sure we were comfortable, and checked in through the coming days and months via text to address any questions we had and offer support. I highly recommend working with Jenn!

I had a great experience with Jenn for the birth of my first child. Our appointments pre-birth were very informative and Jenn was very friendly and easy to talk to. Jenn provided a bunch of resources and talked my husband and I through what the day could be like. She was clearly experienced and knowledgable. I ended up needing to be scheduled for an inducation as my due date drew near. Unfortunately, Jenn let me know that she had Covid and was going to be unable to be at the hospital as we had planned. This was a bummer, as I was really looking forward to having her there, but so is life. What was so great was that she arranged for another doula to be present with us in like 36 hours and was also super available via text and phone through the entire process. I found our communication to be incredibly helpful in the various decision-making that occurred at the hospital - she was super supportive, but provided her expert opinion when asked. I'd 100% recommend Jenn and would plan to use her again if we decide to have a second kiddo!

I was feeling a bit lost when it came to what I should know about my pregnancy, labor and birth. Finding Jenn was the absolute biggest blessing, she helped me feel empowered and confident through the power of information and encouragement. My husband also gained confidence in his ability to support me during labor. We both agree Jenn was an absolutely amazing and essential part of our labor and birth team. We clicked so well, I was completely comfortable with asking any and all questions. Big love to this amazing woman!

We got to working with Jen about halfway through my pregnancy. Everything was wonderful and seemed super routine for our pregnancy, and she always kept us well prepared and informed every single step of the way. Jen was so encouraging throughout our process and was always, always a text away if I had any concerns or questions, especially in the later weeks of pregnancy. Although we planned on, and started out, with birthing at home, we ended up in a hospital setting. There was no sense of emergency for our situation, just a slow progression, late term pregnancy that got us where we ended up. She was with us from Saturday at 7 pm until Monday at 1 am. She was our rock, our support emotionally and physically. This woman is incredible, encouraging, and will do whatever it takes for who she is working with. Did I mention she had just come from another birth as well? You would've never been able to tell! We are eternally grateful to Jen, we still talk almost a year after my daughter's birth, and we absolutely will be reaching out for her when we one day continue to grow our family. Highly recommend!

When I began my search for a Doula, I was overwhelmed as a first-time mom. Thankfully, a colleague recommended Jenn, and from our first interaction, I knew I was in good hands. My partner and I were unsure where to begin, but Jenn's expertise and support were invaluable. Opting for virtual Doula services, Jenn guided us through three essential home visits during my pregnancy, providing crucial support and reassurance every step of the way.
The home visits were enlightening for both of us. My partner had the opportunity to ask numerous questions about the birthing process and how he could best support me during labor. With Jenn's guidance, he became a labor rock star, providing unwavering support and care. While the prospect of giving birth can often be daunting, Jenn's expertise and presence made it a far more empowering experience. Even during the pivotal moments of my birth, Jenn remained virtually present to support us. Her calming presence and unwavering confidence instilled in me a sense of empowerment, allowing me to visualize and achieve the birth experience I had dreamed of. With Jenn's guidance, I felt not only prepared but truly empowered to embrace the journey of birth with confidence and strength.
I wholeheartedly recommend Jenn to anyone embarking on the journey of childbirth. She is truly exceptional—overflowing with wisdom and unparalleled in her approach. Jenn creates a judgment-free environment, offering attentive support and a wealth of resources, including handouts, exercises, and invaluable birth tips and tricks, such as massage, birth affirmations, acupressure points, and sensory therapy.
I can't stress this enough—having a Doula should be a part of every person's pregnancy care, especially for first-timers

Where to begin? From the first time I met with Jenn I knew I wanted to have her as apart of my birth experience. She provided so much helpful information and resources and really listened and talked through my birth plan with me. As a first time mom and a generally anxious person, I was naturally very nervous about birth and wanting everything to go to plan, but soon realized that things don't always work out that way, I was a complete anxious mess when finding out I had to be induced for hypertension at 37 weeks, so we called Jenn, she talked on the phone with me, my husband, and my midwife and reassured me that just because my birth was going to look different than I imagined didn't mean the whole plan had to go out the window. I had a lengthy induction and a constant line of communication open with Jenn so as soon as things started to get intense my husband called her and she was there before I knew it. Once my water broke things progressed quickly and my contractions came one after another with no breaks, she talked me through them and never pressured me to change my plan of going unmedicated but was also 100% supportive when I decided to get the epidural after I had become to weak and exhausted after days of no sleep and laboring. A few hours later it was time to push and I pushed for 3 hours, I seriously thought how can I keep going?! Then just when I thought I might pass out from exhaustion Jenn looks over at me and says "hey, look" and draws my attention to the nurse behind her calling in the baby nurse, she had told me days earlier what that meant, so I was ELATED. I knew it meant I was going to meet my baby in a matter of minutes. My sweet boy was born and I was on cloud 9. Jenn stayed for about an hour and then met with us shortly after we got home to see how we were adjusting, and always answered my texts with any questions I had. She was truly so supportive and such an important part of making my birth experience a positive one!

Jenn was a great support for us throughout pregnancy and birth, even though my birth ended up looking a lot different than I had hoped and expected. My baby ended up being breech, so we needed to schedule a c-section, which was very hard for me to come to terms with. Jenn gave us helpful guidance during that process. To be honest, once we found out it would be a scheduled c-section, I wondered how helpful a doula would really be on the day, but I am so glad she was there. There was a slight complication with my baby when he was born, so my husband needed to leave me for a little bit to be with the baby, and Jenn was there to hold my hand and calm me down while I was terrified and didn't have my husband. She also took on the role of our photographer, and got the most incredible photos that we'll have forever. I believe this was her first scheduled c-section as a doula and first time being the photographer haha but she nailed it! I also can't thank her enough for her recommendation for my doctor, who ended up being an absolute angel that I can't imagine going through pregnancy and birth without. Thumbs up for Jenn!

I'm the kind of person who craves information when preparing for big life changes so working with Jenn was a dream come true. From our first meeting, she gave us so many helpful resources not just for me to be informed about childbirth but also specific ways that my husband could support me through the process. She was always a text away and when the big day came earlier than expected, she was ready! She was a rock for my husband during a tricky induction for preeclampsia and was just as much a support for him as for me. When I was too tired to care about anything, she was the advocate I needed. She made sure my husband and I both understood what was going on in the room, what the doctors were looking for, and that we felt comfortable with the decisions that we were making. It really helped take a lot of stress and anxiety out of the situation so we could focus on the joy of welcoming our baby boy into the world. I couldn't have asked for a better doula to have on our support team.

Jenn is fantastic. During my labor she used acupressure points that made the pain tolerable. She, my husband and I got into a nice labor rhythm. When my labor started stalling and it was time to talk about options it was really nice or have her there to discuss each option and really think about what we wanted as well as what was best for the baby and me. Ultimately I ended up having a C-Section which I was very nervous for and she helped to keep me calm and took photographs of the birth which was so helpful to have. She is a wonderful person to have on your birth team!

We are so grateful to have had Jenn with us not only on our birthing day but for labor prep as well. She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful, and most importantly trustworthy. As this was my first, I was very anxious about childbirth. She provided so many great resources/documents and valuable information ahead of time that helped me tremendously during labor. I felt so much more prepared when it was time. Jenn was an amazing presence at our daughter's birth. She did so much to help ease our anxieties, understand what was going on, and keep us grounded. We are forever grateful to Jenn for helping us navigate this journey. I would highly recommend Jenn to be there for you too. She is wonderful and will make a difference!

My husband and I are so glad we worked with Jenn! When we had our first baby, we didn't know what to expect from labor, delivery, or postpartum. Words cannot express how comforting it was having someone walk us through that journey in a calm, skilled, and compassionate way. Jenn met with us before the birth to discuss everything we needed to know and was able to put our minds at ease around things that were worrying us. I also had a long prodromal/early labor, and Jenn was great about checking in and providing suggestions to help me through it. Jenn was instrumental during delivery, providing amazing coping strategies for contractions while also providing relief for my husband. We couldn't have done it without her and look forward to having Jenn at the births of our future children!

When I reflect on my birthing experience compared with that of my friends, the difference is that I had Jenn in my corner helping me out and cheering me on through the process.
Our initial meetings were warm, friendly, and nonjudgmental - Jenn made it clear her goal was to educate me on what to expect and align with whatever my goals were, and coach me through when things didn't go as planned.
My labor went much longer than expected and she was a great sport. I had every hope for a low-intervention birth but my little guy had other plans, and instead (in the words of one of the residents), i got every intervention the hospital had to offer. I felt empowered to ask for more time, more options to try to get the kind of delivery I'd hoped for, but when it became clear it was no longer safe to keep waiting I still felt heard. My unexpected C-section was a surreal experience. But having Jenn nearby to check in and ultimately recap my experience later on made me feel so much safer in what can be an incredibly scary and vulnerable time.
I'm so grateful to have worked with Jenn. She ushered me and my husband through the strange (but amazing!) shift into parenthood. Every pregnant person would be lucky to have her on their team :)

We were so lucky and grateful to have Jenn attend the birth of our child! We truly cannot recommend her enough. She is warm, kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and brings alllllll the resources. Our meetings with Jenn before the birth were highly informative and felt like hanging out with a family friend. Our birth experience did not go as we hoped and planned, and it was scary to feel out of control, but knowing Jenn was with us made all the difference. She came so prepared and was there through everything--every surprise and challenge, every contraction, every question and decision--holding my hand, advocating, and offering comfort. Even in my postpartum period, I was able to reach out to Jenn when I realized I was having a hard time and she immediately responded with compassion and helpful ideas to get me back on track. We will forever be grateful to Jenn for guiding us through the most beautiful and challenging experience of our lives.

Jenn was amazing. I wasn't sure how to best emotionally support my wife, help her through contractions and advocate for what she wanted all at the same time. Jenn made it so that I could just focus on being near my wife and take things moment by moment. She knew what we wanted and I was confident that she was aware and on top of each step so I could focus on my wife and not have to worry about what else was going on. She had a bag of tricks to make my wife more comfortable and implemented tools before I could even think of them or my wife could ask. She was not only a physical and emotional support to my wife, but having her there helped me feel more confident and able to help my wife achieve her birth goals. I would highly recommend her services to any expecting parents.

Jenn was my doula for my third baby, but first birth with a doula. I can confidently say that she was a huge part of making this birth everything I had hoped for and more. Although safe and healthy, my previous deliveries weren't exacltly what I had been hoping and planning for and from my experiences with those births I knew that my husband and I needed more support going into our third birth. In our meetings with Jenn she gathered specific information of what we were hoping for and explained her plan for how she would do everything she could to help us attain that. When it came time for the birth, she showed up as a calm and positive prescence and gave my husband and I the confidence needed to proceed with our birth plans. She knew what the hopeful plan was and didn't need to ask any questions; she jumped right in. When labor became intense and I wasn't even sure what I needed for help, she brought out helpful tools without me needing to ask. When I was overheating in the final stages of labor and the midwife, nurse and my husband weren't sure how to best help me, she brought out a wonderful cooling cloth and massager that were exactly what I needed to make it through the final stages of labor and meet my baby. She stayed after the birth for a time and celebrated with us, making sure we had everything we needed. At our postpartum follow-up I was able to talk through the birth and she provided very helpful direction regarding a stubborn and severe case of mastitis that I was fighting. Her calm, but direct concern was more helpful than what I had received from my on-call providers and pushed me to be seen, which ended up being very warranted. All this to say, Jenn was a fantastic resource to my husband and I during pregnancy, birth and postpartum and really helped make my birth experience wonderful. I would highly recommend her, absolutely for first time parents, but just as much so for second, third, etc.-time parents.

We knew Jenn would be a great fit from our first conversation. Jenn is the perfect combination of compassionate and assertive. She is extremely organized and informative. I felt confident going into my birth knowing she would be there to support us. Jenn is dedicated and reliable, showing up to our labor after just a few hours rest on her 3rd birth and 3 days. I think working with Jenn increased our confidence and eased our anxiety and helped us have the best birth experience possible. I was really glad we connected and hope our paths cross again in the future.

Jenn was an absolutely wonderful support system throughout my pregnancy and beyond. Having previously experienced full-term loss of my son, my next pregnancy was stressful and filled with grief and anxiety from the beginning. In deciding that I needed some extra guidance, I fortunately came across Jenn. From the very beginning, she was more than willing to lend me her resources, a listening ear, and her advice. Between helping me find a new doctor, to making choices that would best accommodate my pregnancy, labor and delivery, I could not be happier with my experience. I especially appreciate her handling of my traumatic loss. The time she put into listening to my story and her recommendations of how to honor my late son in my upcoming birth meant the absolute world to me. She helped me formulate a birth plan that best met my needs and took away most if not all of my anxiety to give birth again. Our visits together were always enjoyable, full of information, and I never felt rushed. It truly felt like I was speaking to a close friend. I cannot recommend Jenn enough to any and all expecting mothers! I look forward to working together again!

As a first time mom and a mom who would be giving birth during a pandemic, I wanted to find a doula who made me feel safe, comfortable and knowledgeable. From the first moment, I spoke to Jenn I connected with her. She made me feel safe and knowledge so that I can make a birth plan that I was comfortable with. As I went into active labor, Jenn was available and would check in to see when i felt comfortable for her to join. It was great to have a doula who also respected my choice. When Jenn met us at the hospital she was the best support system I could have. During the pandemic it made it difficult to have my mother with me but Jenn was amazing. She helped by bringing up what we had discussed and would explain as things were unfolding. We encountered complications which made it difficult to stick to our original birth plan. Jenn had educated me on things that could happen and knew my fears but remained calm and supportive. She made me feel as I had a choice while I didn't get that from the doctors on call. In the end, baby and I are healthy and having Jenn helped me feel knowledgeable about this process. After visit with Jenn was great; I was still in a fog but Jenn would check in on me and was supportive through my postpartum months. I am truly thankful for Jenn and doula services. I would highly recommend Jenn and her doula services to any future mother!

Jenn was absolutely amazing to have throughout my pregnancy and during the birth of my first baby. She was always available for questions and it really helped me mentally get through the last few weeks of pregnancy. She set me up with so many great resources and material for knowing what to expect and what could happen during labor and beyond. Her affirmation cards and labor tools helped me get through my intense contractions, what a thoughtful addition to the whole package deal. I would not have felt as comfortable and laid back as I did without Jenn! Thank you for giving me the support and confidence I needed! Highly recommend having Jenn as your doula, especially as a first time mom!

I can’t recommend Jenn enough. I originally had been unsure about working with a doula and I am so glad that I did and that I had the opportunity to work with Jenn. It made all the difference in the world having her as one steady consistent person I could talk to while laboring at home and throughout my time at the hospital. She helped me and my partner feel prepared not only going into the birth but also for what to expect postpartum. She spent time getting to know us, our wishes and worries, and provided us with such helpful information and resources. She’s funny, non-judgmental, and being able to text her was such a lifeline especially in those first few weeks home. No matter how it happens, birth is a lot to go through and having a witness to the hard parts and beautiful parts is such a comfort. I truly believe working with Jenn gave me the gift of being better able to enjoy my pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood and that’s something I am so grateful for. I can’t imagine having done it without her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

After a traumatic first pregnancy that ended in a late loss and some impersonal prenatal care in a new home state, I decided late in my pregnancy that I wanted a doula at my birth. My desire was to have someone in the room who had seen many births who could help me translate what was happening and advocate for myself. However, I was only interested in having a doctor managed birth in a hospital with an epidural. Other doulas did not work with OBs or straight up told me I was going to have a c section or episiotomy because of my choices. Jenn supported MY birth preferences and so she was the perfect fit. She was an amazing sounding board during the end of my long pregnancy and helped me understand what was happening and what questions to ask when I was induced at 41 weeks. Unfortunately I did not get to experience her helping me manage labor pain because it took approximately 10 minutes of having contractions after my water was broken to ask for my epidural and take a long long nap, not giving Jenn enough time to arrive, but Jenn stayed with me, helped me push for many hours and then, when it was clear my son was not going to come underneath my pelvis, ask for gentle cesarean options as I was far too exhausted and anxious to do it for myself. She was then the first person other than my husband I gladly handed my fresh newborn to so I could sleep, shower, etc after about a week postpartum during a postpartum visit. I highly recommend Jenn and will definitely be using her for our next pregnancy.

I decided that I wanted to have as natural of a birth as possible. I was planning no meds or monitoring. I interviewed a few different qualified Doulas but when I spoke to Jenn we just connected and I felt at ease with her. I felt she was confident yet relaxed and from her experience and training I knew she had the ability. We met and talked about everything and made our plans. But, life happened and I went into premature labor nearly 7 weeks early. I was in constant contact with Jenn who was a support for me during the challenging few days I was in the hospital and ultimately giving birth 6 weeks early. She was there for me in delivery not the way I expected it to go but the way it ended up. Jenn came to the house for a week after we came from the hospital with our new little bundle of joy. We had a beautiful healthy boy. She assisted me in so many ways at home and with our son and for a first time Mom, I really appreciated the support and care. We still stay in touch 8 months later! If you are looking for an honest, caring and experienced doula to assist you she will be all that and more!

Jenn was phenomenal. From the moment I met her I felt at ease. She provided support and was available whenever I had questions.
Jenn is extremely knowledgeable of the birthing experience and options available. Throughout my labor I felt empowered to make decisions I was comfortable with. When things did not go as planned, she stayed present and calm, which in turn allowed for me to stay calm (as calm as could be during contractions).
I cannot recommend Jenn enough. Her support meant the world to me and I'm grateful she was with me during one of the best days of my life.
11/25/2021
I am so grateful to have met Jenn. She was knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. She gave me confidence and most importantly did not judge my fears or wishes. At the hospital, she was there as an advocate if I needed that, but was also careful to leave space for my husband and I to make our own choices. Jenn is a great listener, responsive, and thoughtful. I would highly recommend her as a doula.
11/10/2021
The biggest and best support system we could of asked for throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. What compelled us to hiring Jenn from the moment we interviewed with her was her calm demeanor. She talked slow, she was thoughtful and her presence made us feel secure, supported and calm - even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout my pregnancy, Jenn checked in consistently to see how things were going along and was a text or call away when I had a quick question or concern and always answered promptly. I finally went into labor at 41 weeks and 3 days. Jenn had helped us prepare for a natural childbirth and as soon as I started feeling contractions Jenn was the person who reminded me and helped me to rest, relax, and breathe. During labor, Jenn came to our house to help when contractions were picking up and was able to tell us when it was time to head to the hospital. Once at the hospital, Jenn was with us until our little girl arrived. When our doctors suggested an intervention I was able to talk through it with Jenn before making a decision. When ultimately my body wasn’t progressing through labor and the risks became too high we had to have the conversation about a c-section. My worst fear. Not my plan. But with Jenn and my husband by my side I had the strength to power through. Even after our little girls arrival, Jenn was a text away when concerns came up during recovery in the hospital, and once we were home. She gave me the knowledge to speak up for myself and my daughter. She empowered me when I felt powerless. I’m forever grateful for Jenn during my postpartum journey. I had a lot of healing to do with the birth not going our way and being so traumatic. I had struggles with breastfeeding, and SO MANY newborn questions. Jenn was the one constant who was always there encouraging us, supporting us, and giving us the knowledge we needed to keep going and to not fall apart in the process. We love you Jenn.

We had a fantastic experience with Jenn as our Doula. When my husband and I met her for the first time over Zoom we immediately clicked and we knew she was the right doula for us. She came over to our house twice before baby Casey arrived and then once afterwards. My husband and I received a ton of infomation from Jenn during her visits to include a huge binder, organized by labor, birthing, postpartum, and newborn care; multiple workbooks, and then pamphlets for my husband. We had our baby during COVID and planned on having Jenn come to the house before going to the hospitial. That didn't work out because our little decided to come quickly but Jenn was texting my husband the whole time letting us know she was reachable if we needed her. She was texting right away and everyday after birth checking in on me and us making sure we were adjusting well; she was so easy to talk to it felt like talking to a friend. Her postpartum visit was extremely informative about newborn and postpartum care. Overall my husband and I couldn't have been happier with Jenn. Even though we couldn't have her in the room during labor & delivery we felt that she prepared us well for it and always get supported. Her kindness, experience, and humor was exactly what our family needed to bring Casey into the world. We will definitely be calling her again if we decide to have another baby even if we aren't in the Rhode Island area.

Jenn is the goddess and queen. Without her, Cindy and I wouldn't have had the tenacity nor the hope of bringing baby Seneca healthily into this world. She was loving and caring every step of the way, but also quite firm and stoic when she needed to be. She is the ultimate +1 on your side, who always advocates for you every step of the way. It is only my hope that we could give birth to every (potentially new) child with Jenn every step of the way.
Also what I loved about Jenn is that she mixed the science, evidence-based literature, as well as her practical thoughts and beliefs.
If you need a strong co-partner and doula of your dreams, Jenn is the key.
Love,
Eric Kim, Cindy Nguyen and Baby Seneca

It is hard for me to accurately put into words how vital Jenn was in our birth story. It was reassuring knowing there was always someone on our side offering support, guidance, and a listening ear. I can't tell you how many times I reached out to Jenn, especially after we went over the 'due date.' She responded quickly, provide me with information/suggestions, and acknowledged all of my emotions.
At our birth, Jenn helped provide hands on pain relief or helped guide my husband so that he could be actively involved. Her presence alone helped us remain calm during such a momentous event. When I look back on the birth of our son, I am thankful for the choices we made - one of the biggest ones being to hire Jenn.

There are no words to express how grateful my partner and I were for Jenn! Not only is Jenn professional, but she is also very personable and really knows how to make you feel comfortable during one of the most vulnerable moments of your life. Jenn listened to my thoughts, concerns, anxieties, fears, and wishes from day one. She met me where I was at with patience, grace, and much needed humor. She really assisted me in preparing for birth through education throughout pregnancy, always answering my questions, and as a first time mom , I had a lot of questions. She helped me stay focused during my labor, also supporting my partner when he needed it. When my labor was not progressing and the hospital was pushing pitocin and an epidural , Jenn helped breakdown why the hospital was making those requests and talked me through my options. All the while advocating for me when I was not able to speak for myself. In the end I did not need the pitocin or the epidural. If Jenn had not been there to break down the hospital jargon and remind me that this was my body, my birth, and my choice then I may not have followed through with the birth plan I was comfortable with. Jenn also did not abruptly leave once the birth was over, she stayed to make sure I ate, hydrated and continued to provide support in the weeks to follow with simple texts with encouraging words. In those first few weeks it is truly the little reminders that you are a badass who birthed a beautiful human that gives you the courage and energy you need. 10/10 highly recommended, I will be calling her again when the time comes for baby number two.

Jenn is a true professional in her work. She is knowledgeable, comforting, encouraging, and so empowering for each mom and family to pursue the birth that feels best for them, no matter how that looks. She absolutely turned our birth from something that could have been really disappointing and frustrating to an experience that felt empowering and positive. My vision for my daughter's birth was very different than how it played out due to circumstances outside our control, and Jenn was absolutely indespensible in helping my husband and I make decisions on the spot. Instead of feeling like the whole thing was a whirlwind or that we got pressured into any decisions by our birth team, I look back on it and feel like we were truly in the driver's seat and that each choice we made was not only informed, but the best decision for our family. Jenn was tireless in providing hands on assist, encouragement, coaching to me and my husband, and incorporating my Hypnobabies tracks into the birth. Throughout my pregnancy she provided me with such a sense of calm and support whenever she checked in, reached out, or offered encouragement and advice. I could not be more grateful to have had Jenn by our side and I can't imagine it any other way.

My wife and I worked with Jenn for the birth of our first child and she was amazing. Jenn came highly recommended from a good friend of mine, as he and his wife worked with her in the past. Jenn was informative, reassuring, and most importantly calming; especially since I tend to be high stressed. Throughout the pregnancy Jenn regularly checked in on us, answered all our questions, and always made herself available. After my wife went into labor, Jenn met us at the hospital in the very early morning. She was there during the delivery, and supported us both. Additionally when our child was born with some initial health concerns, Jenn helped us get through some very challenging days, offering needed supported, and celebrating with us when everything was in the clear. I couldn't imagine doing the pregnancy without Jenn. I highly recommend her as she is a great resource for both mother and father, and instrumental to a very important moment in our lives.

I found Jenn through a friend who recommend her services. We began meeting with Jenn early on during our pregnancy and she was available via email, phone and text throughout. There were several times when I had questions after an appointment or began to feel anxious after reading about a certain topic and she was always able to ease my mind. Jenn provides handouts and resources during the first session which I referenced throughout our pregnancy. Our baby girl ended up in the NICU after a traumatic delivery and Jenn supported us that day and for the weeks after with words of encouagement. Overall, it was important for us to have a doula for the birth of our first child and we are happy that person was Jenn.

I have nothing but good things to say about Jenn! We met with a few doulas before deciding on one, and immediately knew upon meeting Jenn that she would be the one for us. She was supportive of the entire process and either method of delivery. (I was dead set on having a natural, least medicated as possible, birth, but had a huge wrench thrown in that plan when my son was breach and I had a scheduled C section. Was forced to take a complete 180 on our birth "guidelines", and Jenn took it in stride and helped me get through my worst fears of the hospital, spinal anesthesia, IVs, and all.) I would whole- heartedly recommend her!

I absolutely cannot recommend Jenn more highly. She is so knowledgeable, encouraging, and lovely to work with. My delivery was incredibly exhausting--I labored for 48 hours and there was a lot that did not go according to plan. She knew exactly what to do and how to help at every step, and was available to answer questions and continue encouraging me and my husband long after our son was born. She was, without a doubt, the best money we spent during my pregnancy. I don't know how I would have gotten through labor and delivery without her!

As soon as I became pregnant with my second child, I started interviewing doulas as I knew my biggest regret with my first was not hiring one.
I interviewed many and Jenn Fantasia was the one that I instantly felt a connection with and it continued through pregnancy, birth, and over a year later (currently).
Not only did I appreciate her as a woman and doula, whom I could feel vulnerable with, but I also highly appreciated her professionalism.
I had a very empowering VBAC and I know a part of that was because I had support from this amazing woman. Her continued support, being a soundboard to help me make my own decisions and never swaying me towards one way or the other, but just helping me know all my options.
I have attended Jenn's mom groups postpartum and have truly seen a side of her that is to be admired. When she says she supports the parents decisions to birth any way they want, she truly means it. I have watched her fully support mothers making complete opposite decisions and she genuinely is there just to support the families. It is beautiful to see.
You are truly in good hands with Jenn and I highly recommend hiring her.
p.s. even my OB highly recommends Jenn!

I had a wonderful experience with Jenn. She was understanding and helped us prepare for the birth. I followed all of her recommendations and I really believe that it helped me with the birth progressing quickly. Jenn came to our home before and after the birth which was also very helpful. During the birth she was there from the moment I wanted her there and she really helped me and my partner stay calm and helped me manage the pain. I tell every pregnant mom that having a doula, especially as a first time mom, was life changing. Thank you for being a part of this moment with our family.

Jenn was phenomenal. We interviewed several doulas while I was pregnant and I felt the most comfortable with her and her class offerings. We did the full package and took several childbirth and newborn classes with her. She was warm and friendly and answered all of our questions throughout the process. She was easy to get in touch with and I was able to text her whenever I had a question. It made me feel so much better especially at the end of my pregnancy when I was more anxious. During my labor, she was attentive and respectful. She helped both of us feel more comfortable and was a very calming presence throughout my labor. We had a hospital birth and she fit seamlessly in with the doctor and nurses. She continued to stay in touch after I had my daughter and has been a great resource for me. She is so kind and caring and always available. I loved attending her small groups over the summer with my newborn. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again.

From the moment of our first meeting with her to discuss expectations and requirements we felt an instant connection and an overall great comfort level. Jenn was also very willing to be available to me via email/phone leading up to the birth. In the last couple of weeks before I went into labor, I had a lot of questions, and Jenn was very supportive, quick to respond with advice or outside resources. She encouraged me to relax and to be patient. On the day that labor actually began, she was on stand-by throughout the day, answering questions and checking on me via text. Jenn was willing to come to us whenever we were ready to head to the hospital. Her encouraging words were very comforting, she knew exactly what I needed it when I was in intense pain. she was awesome and we highly recommend her. thanks Jenn!!

I had such a wonderful experience with Jenn and would highly recommend her to anyone! She has such a calming presence and she made my husband and I feel comfortable from the moment we met her. This was my first pregnancy and I wanted to have an experienced and encouraging coach to help my husband and I along the way. In addition, I wanted to complete childbirth naturally with no medication. Jenn was so helpful in educating us in what to expect in the weeks leading up to the birth, the childbirth process itself, and what to expect postpartum. She was very supportive during my preganancy and was extremely responsive to answering any questions I had, even late at night. Given that this was our first pregnancy we had very little knowledge of what to expect both physically and emotionally and she was there to help us every step of the way. She was also so supportive after we had the baby. Being first time parents can be hard in the beginning. She gave great advice about dealing with the emotional swings of postpartum and calming a new baby. She continued to check on me in the months after having my son to make sure everything was going well. I am so glad I found her and cannot thank her enough for helping to make my first birth such a memorable and special experience-thank you Jenn!

Jenn is worth her weight in gold and we could not imagine our birth without her! From our first meeting, I knew she would be our doula. Her passion for birth, mamas, and babies was evident and she had a gift of being knowledgable and having wondering information to share without being overbearing or preachy. Jenn met our thoughts and plans with empathy and understanding, appeased my endless questions and worries, and gave me the tools I needed to prepare- without driving myself or my husband nuts. We hired her pretty early on in our pregnancy so we had a lot of time to get to know each other, feeling so at ease and connected come birth day. She was always up for a random question, updates from OB appointments, or random thoughts from a soon-to-be mom. She truly grew to be a friend.
Come birth day, Jenn was in contact the entire time, sharing both her excitement and knowledge. She had wonderful suggestions for manageing things before it was time to go to the hospital. Once we got there, Jenn met us soon after, carrying her wonderful Mary Poppins bag of tricks. She kept pulling out gadgets and gizmos to provide counter pressure, massage, oils, and other things. She deserves a million dollars for her back labor magic, practically lifting me up off the ground by my hips with each contraction. She and my husband worked so well together, and she was able to relieve him for a few minutes to get a bite to eat or use the bathroom. She helped us navigate questions and comments from the doctors and nurses, make decisions, guage progress, and come up with new positions, breathing, encouragement and strategies to make it through.
26 hours of active labor, no medication, as peaceful and natural as I could have hoped birth would be (but also 100x harder and more rewarding than I could have ever imagined)... Jenn was such an integral part of making that all possible. I truly don't believe our birth would have been what it was without her.
3/23/2019
When my partner and I met Jenn, we all got along pretty quickly and easily. She saw that we like to joke around and was right there with us. She provided so much information and so much support leading up to the birth, all of which was very valueable. But where she really shines is in the delivery room! Jenn came in at just the right time, with just the right energy. She immediately began employing massage techniques that relaxed me so much. She asked a few questions but immediately read that I didn't want to talk and was so patient and attentive. Between her, myself and my partner we developed a pattern to ride the wave of each contraction. Before I knew it, baby boy was out and Jenn was there with us smiling ear to ear! She also took lots of amazing pictures!! She stayed in touch after the birth and visited us after we got home. My son is almost 3 months old and I still consider Jenn to be one of my primary sources of support in all things mama related. She's a wonderful person and a beautiful soul! My partner put it best when he said about the birth - "Katie may have been the rock star but Jenn was the roadie AND the manager!"

From the first time I met Jenn at an event, I had a feeling she was going to be the doula I hired. During the interview process and throughout our whole journey, I appreciated her professional manner and respect. From day one, I felt on the same level with Jenn and she treated me as an equal, which was another big factor in feeling comfortable with her and choosing to hire her. To me, my doula needed to be my equal, someone I could be vulnerable with, since I knew I was preparing for a vbac and had a lot of mental preparation ahead of me.
Being able to text Jenn and get her experienced advice at any time was invaluable. I never once felt judged, uncomfortable, or unsure around Jenn. During my labor, having access to her the entire time was exactly what I needed. Having her at my birth felt very comforting. I hardly looked at her or talked to her, but I never once felt that I needed to do anything. She knew where my head was and she was the presence that I needed.
Postpartum I still am texting Jenn with questions and updates because I feel like she is a part of us all now. I have gone to her mom support groups and I get to see how she is with all other moms, in whatever variation we come in. I can say without a doubt she supports families in however they decide to birth and parent, something that I hope to be able to emulate in my life towards everyone.
3/22/2019
I first met Jenn on day 3 of labor as my hired doula asked for her to step in. As you could imagine, this was an exhausting experience for me and I was about to go through it with a stranger! Instantly upon meeting me though, Jenn was so nurturing and calming. She started talking to me and rubbing my arm. I was comfortable with her both emotionally and physically in my last stretch of labor which made all the difference. She made the experience so wonderful and her physical support is no doubt what helped me fulfill my goal of delivering without pain medication - she knows what she’s doing with those hands! When I got pregnant a 2nd time I think I texted her the night I found out to reserve her for birth haha. She again was so wonderful not only during the labor/delivery process, but before and after as well. You won’t regret having a doula’s support during labor and Jenn is your girl!
11/18/2018
Jenn helped us prepare for our first baby. I was overwhelmed by the unknown and needed some reassurance. She was calm, confident and very informed about pregnancy and birth. I am so glad that we didn't just do the obligatory hospital education class-- Jenn provided us with information and techniques that helped me to feel prepared and confident that I could do it! All of the prep and planning paid off because the birth itself went pretty quickly. I would highly recommend her as a doula for the piece of mind. Thank you Jenn!
10/20/2018
My wife decided to use a doula which I had never really heard of doing, but Jenn was great. She helped me get more involved beyond just a birthing class and it was nice to have someone else in the delivery room. When questions came up it was amazing to have someone to turn to instead of Google. We highly recommend Jenn!

I used Jenn as my doula for the birth of my son in April 2018 and was so happy
I did. As a first time Mom I felt overwhelmed by the information out there and completely unprepared for child birth. My original intention was just to have some extra support since my husband was new to this and my Mom was not local, but I found Jenn was helpful to me in the entire process of becoming a Mom and not just the birth itself. Jenn’s warm and calm personality had me instantly at ease. Jenn helped me with all aspects of my pregnancy and then helped me feel empowered for the birth. I love Jenn’s philosophy around planning because she helps you understand how to feel confident in your choices throughout the stages even if everything doesn’t go perfectly. My personal birth experience was fast and furious and Jenn was able to help me manage the pain. After he was born, Jenn was incredibly helpful in getting me started with breastfeeding and we’re now on month 7 of breastfeeding which I really believe is thanks to Jenn’s knowledge and support. I can’t recommend Jenn enough- she is a wonderful person and so passionate and knowledgeable. Everyone woman planning to have a baby should have a doula!
9/15/2018
We first looked for a doula because we wanted someone to be with us that had been through labor and delivery before and could help us feel prepared and supported. Immediately after meeting Jenn, we knew we found that person. Throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery there were many times where Jenn's support and guidance was the key to making us feel informed, confident and comfortable. She was neutral and offered information without pushing us in a direction. We really appreciate the way she made us feel like the decisions we made were our own.
9/9/2018
With my high risk pregnancy Jenn was super helpful. She was always available to answer any questions I had in a timely manner and had some of the best advice I could have recieved. I am so glad we had her help, especially when at the end of this whole experience we ran into some complications and needed her a little sooner than we thought! She was there for me when I was hospitalized and needed the extra support, and she was ready to be there when I had to be induced 4 weeks early. I couldn't have asked for anyone better, and I am so glad that she was able to be there when my little girl was born. If you need extra support or have any questions, she is definitely who I would recommend. Thank you Jenn, for everything you did for us!

Jenn was a great source of comfort and knowledge during the preparation for my first pregnancy. My husband and I live away from family, and his job was taking him on the road quite a bit. With Jenn's help, we were able to obtain extensive information on the birthing process and become familiar with our options and various scenarios for labor. It is obvious she puts alot of work into her materials, and I found her vision exercises and hands-on assist to be the most helpful components for me personally. She always stays in touch and does a great job of making you feel supported and connected to her. Jenn truly cares and will do everything within her power to give you a positive experience.

I can't stress enough how competent and what a good person Jenn is. She was there for us because she cares about people, and she just made everything better.
This was our first pregnancy so when Jenn showed up to our introductory meeting organized and prepared with everything spelled out, she made us feel really good about hiring her. I never regretted it! I had a ton of questions the whole time but she responded quickly to every one and saved me and my family from doing things the hard way.
During labor, Jenn helped us adjust to a complication that led to a non-emergency but unplanned caesarian section. It was traumatic but we got through to a healthy mom and baby. What a relief we got through and are feeling okay!
Defiitely call Jenn Fantasia if you need your doula to be committed and awesome. She was there for me from start to finish during pregnancy, labor, and post partum and with no regrets. we <3 Jenn :D

We had an amazing experience with Jenn. We decided to work with a doula because we knew early on that my wife wasn’t medically able to get an epidural and we were both anxious about the possibility of a general-anesthesia c-section. Jenn clicked with us right away and made it a priority to figure out what worked best for our situation and personalities. She was our top resource throughout, helping us prepare beforehand, helping us settle in for an overnight stay when my wife was induced, and essential for the main event (you try remembering what you learned in a class when you’re actually in the delivery room!). Jenn supported my wife through a vaginal delivery without pain medication and was great in the moment with constant support that never once felt intrusive. The support she gave in the following months was just as important to us -- having Jenn available via text for any of our many questions brought a lot of comfort to us as first time parents. In addition to her standard post-partum home visit, she also visited us for two lactation consultations: one early on and another to help my wife with weaning. Every step of the way Jenn was solid, comforting, and encouraging and I can’t imagine what we would have done without her energy and guidance!
4/9/2018
When my wife told me she wanted to hire a doula, I was not sure how I felt about it. My wife wanted an all natural VBAC and I wanted supported her decision. looking back we couldn’t have done it without Jens support. She was there for my wife emotionally and physically and helped me by explaining things throughout the labor and her sense of humor kept the environment less tense. My wife was able to have her all natural VBAC with Jen keeping her focused and using great pain management techniques . Thanks Jen for the support you gave us both.
3/21/2018
I can’t say enough great things about Jen. Hiring her as my doula was the best decision I made and She truly helped me achieve the labor I Hoped for. I wanted an all natural VBAC and Jen was by my side the whole time, keeping Me focused and using different positions and pain management techniques. From the moment I texted her she was on her way to the hospital. She answered my emails and texts right away and constantly checked in with me. She was a great resource and was a great listener. She came out to see us the day after we got home and a Month later we still talk! I highly recommend Jen, she’s amazing !

I thought I was prepared going into childbirth — my spouse and I had taken an eight-week birthing class, in addition to four or five classes at our hospital on everything from birth to post-partum care to breastfeeding. And yet, when my labor actually started, nothing matched what I had been taught: there was no pattern to my contractions, no space between some of them, and I found myself wholly unprepared mentally and emotionally for the kind of pain I was in. I was just scared. Having Jenn at my side felt like a literal lifesaver. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through it all without her. She kept me as calm as possible, helped me focus on getting through each contraction one at a time, reminded me to try different positions to see what might help me to cope, and reminded me that I could do this (and that I was doing it with each breath). She knew exactly what I needed to hear and how to support me while allowing the midwife and other staff to do their jobs as well.
We also hired Jenn as a post-partum doula, and honestly that was the best decision I ever made about my entire pregnancy. Through every up and down — the sleep deprivation, the first-timer panic and self-doubt at every little cough or symptom the baby had, the learning curve of breastfeeding — she was right there with information, encouragement, resources, and support. Even though a lot of the information I needed was already in the well-organized binder she had given us pre-natally, she never made me feel bad for not looking it up, she just brought copies of what I needed when I needed it and went over everything with me until I felt calm and well equipped. Again, she was a total lifesaver.
Becoming a parent for the first time is HARD. Jenn helped us get through it with evidence-based information and a lot of experience, but also with a huge amount of compassion, patience, and humor. I would work with her again in a heartbeat.
2/9/2018
I don’t know how many people find themselves seeking out a doula for the first time in their second pregnancy, but that’s where we were. My first pregnancy and birth were complicated and left me scared, and for a while unsure whether I wanted to repeat the experience at all. When we decided we wanted to have another child, I knew I was going to hire a doula this time. We had delivered prematurely last time and I had never experienced labor and did not know what to expect. Being pregnant there is a lot going on that is out of your control, it helps me to prepare for what I can.
Jenn is exactly what I needed. She is there with all the information you could want about a number of topics (and all compiled in an organized binder!), she is just a text or email away if you have any questions, and she does not judge you. She says on her website that she supports you and your way 100% and she does! I felt like I was safe with her, and when you are at your most vulnerable that is EVERYTHING. With Jenn there for physical and emotional support I was able to labor the way I had wanted to, and even though it ended in another emergency cesarean, I view this experience in a much more positive light. Knowing I could depend on extra support from Jenn when the time came gave me peace of mind, reduced my anxiety, and improved my pregnancy experience. Thank you, Jenn!
1/29/2018
My husband and I had hoped hoped for a natural birth and we knew that if we wanted to try for this, we would need help, so we searched for a doula. We interviewed several candidates, but I felt a connection to Jenn immediately. I liked that she grew up and lives in my hometown. When I met her, she seemed relaxed, non-judgmental, and organized. Most importantly, she made me feel calm.
Jenn met with us leading up to the birth, providing important and relevant information. She came to the hospital, not once, but twice, and she supported me in my very long attempt at a natural delivery. I think I hold the record for the longest labor that Jenn has even been a part of -60+ hours! Although the birth was not as I had planned, we were grateful to have Jenn with us. Her presence was important- it allowed my husband an opportunity to leave the room if needed, knowing that I had someone with me. Jenn’s techniques for relaxation and pain relief were incredibly helpful and without her I wouldn’t have been able to labor as long as I did without pain medication.
I did not end up having the kind of birth that I envisioned, but I did feel supported during the process. My husband and I were able to make educated decisions about the processes and procedures that took place in the labor and delivery room- for me this was very important. I am a Nurse Practitioner and I had certain expectations and wishes. My husband, has no medical background, but because we had discussed everything in detail, and because he had Jenn to help guide him, he was able to help me make important decisions about the labor, delivery and aftercare of our daughter when I was unable or unaware.
After the birth, Jenn answered my questions about breastfeeding, sleeping and all things newborn. She checked up on me for weeks after the birth, just to make sure that I was coping well as a new mother. I would highly recommend Jenn to those seeking a doula.
1/28/2018
I cant say enough positive complients about Jen. She was actually our "back up doula" as our orginal doula was out of town the day I went into labor. Jen jumped right in and made me feel so comfortable.
She helped keep myself and my husband calm through the labor and the unfortunate event of having a terrible L&D nurse. The nurse was negative and unhelpful to put it lightly. Jen helped to keep my birth experience positive and kept me focused on meeting my son, instead of focusing on being upset at the nurse.
She also continues to keep in touch with me and offers wonderful, non-judgmental advice everytime I ask. The home visit after the birth was great as well- I was extremely sleep deprived and needed reassurance at that time. Jen told me I was doing a great job and answered all of my questions.
I would reccommend Jen to anyone looking for a doula and I will most certanly be calling her again for my second pregnancy!
12/10/2017
I'm so thankful to have had Jenn at my side as I went into labor. Her tools and expertise helped to keep me as calm and comfortable as possible. I honestly cannot imagine how I would have handled the long, hard process of giving birth without the help of a doula. She also provided important support to my partner. Many thanks to Jenn!
11/28/2017
Jenn was a wonderful doula as I was in labor, within the delivery room and even postpardom. Unlike other doulas whose services stop once the baby was born, Jenn continued to contact me to ensure that breastfeeding was going well, I was taking care of myself... even checking in to make sure that I showered! She helped to keep me calm during my contractions and was a great advocate for everything that I wanted for my birth. I would recommend Jenn to any mother looking to have a natural birth. Thanks, Jenn!
11/28/2017
My husband and I are first-time parents with no family members in this area. We interviewed a few doulas and finally chose Jenn. You know what? Looking back, this may be the most critical and correct decision we made and we are soooo grateful for having Jenn with us. She is very kind and caring, and not assertive or condescending at all when discussing with us about what options are out there for us. She was also very accessible thoughout the whole time and provided a lot of useful information for us, which turned out to be a huge help. If we decide to have another baby (I mean IF -- still struggling with the first one after all), I will definitely hire Jenn again.
11/26/2017
Jenn has been absolutely wonderful for our family. At first, we were reluctant to hire a doula, but from the first meeting Jenn gave us useful advice and was so comfortable to be around that we knew we wouldnt mind having her in the hospital room. Jenn put a ton of effort into making sure we felt prepared to give birth, providing us with her curated information and materials. When we found out we’d be induced but didn’t know exactly when, Jenn arranged her family activities for a whole week so that she would be nearby in case she got an urgent call from me. This was absolutely above and beyond.
I am very proud to say we delivered without pain medication in only 4 hours, and I truly believe this wouldn’t have been possible without our preparation with Jenn.
Since our son was born, Jenn has visited and has been supportive for every single question about breastfeeding, sleep tips, and overall wellness - and it’s been 4 months! She is basically a saint and I would hire her again immediately if we have a second child.
11/24/2017
My experience with Jenn was wonderful! We decided to seek out the care of a doula when we were down to the wire, (I think about 32 weeks?!) when we realized that a traditional birth class was just not in the cards for us. But goodness, am I glad that everything happened the way it did because I couldn't imagine our journey without Jenn!
Jenn is knowledgable, caring and down to Earth. Being an RN myself, I had a lot of basic knowledge about pregnancy and birth but Jenn is very skilled and brought the education to meet me where I was. Jenn promptly answered my calls and questions, provided regular check ins up to birth and postpartum and much needed breastfeeding support (we are still going strong after a year!). My labor went very quickly and I was so happy to see her walk through my labor room door right when my partner and I needed support. She was a great support to Peter too. I have recommended Jenn to family and friends, Jenn rocks!!
11/20/2017
I was thrilled that we found Jenn to be our doula for the birth of our daughter. Right from the start, Jenn was welcoming, warm, and understanding of any concerns/questions we had. I always felt that Jenn was on OUR side and never felt judged by any of our decisions. Jenn met with my husband and I to help us prepare for the birth on 2 separate occasions. Each time we met, I felt more confident and sure of myself to handle the birth (because I knew she'd be there with my husband rooting me on!). When the day came, Jenn was so comforting to have in the delivery room. Not only was she a strong support for me, but my husband as well. She knew just what to say and do to make the process one I will treasure forever.
Upon leaving the hosptial, Jenn made sure to check in with us and see how everything was going. She even came by our house the next morning to help out with breastfeeding! We couldn't have done it without her-- Thank you, Jenn!
8/31/2017
Jenn was excellent to have in the delivery room. She made the experience much more relaxing than it had been with our first child and she did a wonderful job of looking out for my wife''s best interest. I wasn't sure about having someone else in the delivery room with us at first, but having Jenn there to help and provide support made for a terrific experience.
7/9/2017
I had a really great experience with Jenn. Right from our first meeting we clicked and I knew I wanted her to be my doula. All throughout my pregnancy she was always available to me. Jenn was able to answer all my questions and help me prepare for my (desperately wanted) VBAC as well as breastfeeding, which I was unsucessful at with my son. From the moment I suspected I was in labor Jenn was in conastant contact with me and having her with me in the hospital was wonderful. She was a great support person both to me and my husband. She helped to calm me down and explain things to me when I wasn't sure what was going to happen next. Jenn never left my side and even helped my daughter to latch right in the delivery room! Another nice surprise was when I was looking through photos on my camera after we were home from the hospital and discovered that Jenn had grabbed my phone and taken pictures of my husband and me with our newborn daughter immediately following delivery. I had no idea she had done that and I am so happy to have those pictures. My daughter is almost two months old now and Jenn still keeps in touch with me to ask how the baby is doing and helped me with some breastfeeding issues and questions. I am very grateful to have Jenn as part of my support network and would absolutely recommend her services. I made the decision to hire a doula because I was adamant that my baby be born via VBAC and I am so glad I did.
3/29/2017
Jenn is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful to have had her support throughout my pregnancy, labor and delivery. I am a first-time mom and this was all very new to me. Jenn did an amazing job coaching me through the whole process. Her knowledge and expertise helped me get through a difficult labor, and her postpartum support helped me cope with the exciting - but also overwhelming- experience of a newborn. She is truly a gifted doula!

I clicked with Jenn right away when we meet. She made me feel at ease with what I wanted and with what I felt I needed during birth. Jenn is very kind, calming, and knowledgeable. Of course nothing went to plan during my labor. Jenn rolled with all the punches and kept me and my husband calm and comfortable. Poor Jenn had a long night in a hospital chair but I was so happy she was there for support. I was unable to hold my baby after birth due to medication reactions. Jenn went with my husband and baby to the nursery which allowed me relax and recover a bit. I was so happy to know my husband had Jenn to lean on in my absence.
I also used Jenn for Post Partum Support which I am SO happy I did. It was an emotional and physical roller coaster after my birth and to know Jenn was coming over soon to help took a huge wait off my shoulders. Jenn walked me through every question I had and helped with any issues that came up. She also sent me to take a nap when I needed one (and needed someone to tell me to!).
Jenn is a wonderful, talented Doula and the best person. I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for support before, during, and after having a baby. Thank you for everything Jenn!!!!

From the moment I first contacted Jenn, she was professional, organized, friendly, caring and helpful. That continued through my daughters birth, the postpartum period and as recent as our conversations this month. Becuse I am a single mom, I was looking for someone to support me and my baby through the end of pregnancy, labor and beyond. Jenn was always available to me between our prenatal visits. I would text her the results of tests and ask her questions on a weekly, sometiems daily, basis. She explained things to me in a way that made sense, and then let me make my own decisons. I chose Jenn because I didn't want to be pushed into having a natural birth or doing hypnosis. I figured I would probably choose to have drugs during my labor, and didn't want to feel bad about it. Jenn was fully supportive of all my choices and never pushed for anything. She is very knowledgeable and will give you all the facts to make your decisons - but they are your decisions. And her support never waivered or changed based on the decisions I made. I never felt bad or guilty for anything. During my extremely long induced labor, Jenn sat in a chair next to me the whole 36 hours helping me understand what was happening, helping me labor, being a hand to hold, or someone to get ice or juice. She held my hands while I got the epidural, and she was holding my legs when I was pushing. She took the very first pictures of my daughter and I cherish those to this day. It can be a scary, confusing, hectic time and Jenn was my calm in the storm. She continued to help me with breastfeeding when I got home from the hospital. She helped me connect with someone to encapsulate my placenta, and she connected me with another nighttime doula for additonal support. I can not recommend her highly enough. I am still connected to her and her family to this day and my daughter and I are so lucky to have them all as a supportive extended family. I am so happy that I chose her as my doula.

Having Jenn with me through my second pregnancy and beyond has been so beneficial to my transition as a mother of two. I had a very quick labor, but as we arrived at the hospital at the same time she was there just in time for me to hit my transitional phase and i am so thankful for that. She was calm, nurturing at just the right moments and helped me feel comfortable when i didn't feel like anything was bringing me comfort. What has been so incredible for me is the support i have received from her postpartum. I am so thankful i was able to reach out to her with my concerns, emotions, anything , even still 6 months later. If you are lacking someone that you can totally unleash to free of judgment who actually can provide words of understanding and comfort, having that quality in a doula is something i find invaluable. I felt that she was able to voice my needs at the hospital when i was not, and she was able to gently guide me from the negative voices telling me i couldn't do it , it was just what i needed, and that is because she takes so much time to go over everything you are hoping to have for your birth, without ever feeling like you are being coached through your experience, unless that's what you want, I'm positive she could do that for you! She's upfront, but nurturing in all the right moments. And i will forever be grateful for having her in my life ! ?

I was so blessed to have had Jenn Fantasia as my doula throughout my pregnancy. Jenn was there for me from the moment I got to the hospital and was my rock throughout my entire delivery. On January 23rd 2015, I gave birth to my second miracle, Logan Benjamin. Jenn gave me the physical and mental support that I needed throughout my delivery, she even made me laugh! I was not able to have my sons father there, due to an accident he had several months prior. The love and support I had from Jenn, made me feel so comfortable. It truly was an experience I will never forget and am so fortunate to have had Jenn by my side. I will be forever greatful for her! Thank you Jenn from the bottom of my heart in sharing this experience with me!

Jenn was very knowledgable and helpful in navigating me through the last couple of months of my pregnancy and birth. I was very nervous about the process with this being my first and she was able to ease my mind with her experience and resources. Jenn was readily available to answer any and all questions I had and was very supportive of me and my husband. Jenn checked in with me frequently and came to the hospital when I felt I needed her support. Unfortunately, I ended up having to have a c-section but Jenn was very encouraging and helpful throughout. I would highly recommend Jenn Fantasia for a doula and would love to use her again in future pregnancies.
