Christina and Simone were wonderful and helped me through those challenging first few weeks of having a newborn
Professional and kind all around!

We were lucky enough to work with Christina after the birth of our 2nd child, she was helped us as a postpartum night doula from February through March 2020. I wish we had her with our first! My husband and I were both unsure of how comfortable we would be wish someone staying in our house overnight. We were also concerned about the expense. It was so easy to trust Christina in our home caring for our precious newborn son, and I cannot imagine having to go through this period without her. She was calming and nurturing from the moment we met her.
As a breastfeeding mom, I felt she offered the exact support I needed and was very flexible depending on what worked for us to get through the night. For us it was having her sleep in our guest room with the baby in a bassinet, bottle feeding and diaper changing as needed. I woke up to pump after a 4-5 hour stretch of sleep (and even longer after I realized I had a good milk supply), and then went back to sleep. We were so grateful to get the long stretches of sleep we needed in those early months.
We also appreciated having her expertise, again something I wish we had after our first baby. I know we would not have had so much success getting our newborn to sleep through the night without her. She could tell the difference between hunger cues and when the baby just needed a little bit of comfort to get back to sleep, something we didn't know to look for. This got him sleeping longer stretches almost immediately. She gave us tips for nights she wasn't around.
Our experience with Christina was better than we could have hoped for. She is so kind, and we all miss her! I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and I have her on speed dial if we need more help through any sleep regressions. I sincerely cannot say enough good things, which is why this review is so long.

My partner and I hired Christina and Amy after our 2nd child was born. We were new to Seattle so we didn't have relatives or a network of people so we knew we needed some help. We're the type of people to do a lot of research before we purchase or hire someone, so you can imagine the amount of time we put in researching someone to work with our newborn. We ultimately chose them because they came highly recommended from a parent's email list that we trust. Both Christina and Amy were great to work with -professional, personable and easy going, I felt completely comfortable having them work with our newborn. They were able to help with our newborn's sleep issues, general colic and breastfeeding. Additionally, knowing that we didn't have a lot of connections in the area, they put us in touch with some other families that have kids our age. If we have another kid, I would hire them again in an instant.

My husband and I were in a very unique situation: we were having a baby via surrogate (she was in Portland) and we were living in Switzerland at the time for a 2-year job. I first contacted Christina, and her partner Amy, by email. We agreed to set up a time to meet once I was on the ground in Seattle. We met for about an hour, they spoke of their postpartum services and offered references to call (whick I did). Once our son arrived, we opted for the overnight services. It was a blessing to get a full night of sleep as well as to get their expert opinions on behaviors our baby was exhibiting. We would always chat before and after the stay so we had a good idea where things were at. I would absolutely use their services again!

Christina was our post-partum doula after the birth of both of our children. She was such a blessing to have in our home. I felt safe having her care for our babies, and welcomed all her seasoned advice on caring for newborns. Christina has such a wealth of knowledge and a lovely calm demeanor. I would recommend her to anyone interested in her doula services.
