Postpartum limits/restrictions: I made the decision to not re-certify as a postpartum doula so that I could put my energy towards becoming a certified pediatric sleep consultant. This has allowed me to provide parents with much needed sleep help for their little ones. I do stay up to date on all things I need to know as a postpartum doula. I realize that hiring a Postpartum Doula can seem very expensive, however, please remember that it is a temporary expense. Having the support of a Postpartum Doula will help you navigate your way through the fourth trimester. It would be nice if your little bundle of joy would come with an instruction manual so that the early days would be easier. As an experienced Postpartum Doula I have been with hundreds of babies and will be able to offer many valuable tips that will help you survive those first few challenging months.
