My family and I had a wonderful experience with Angela. She was instrumental in helping us to have a successful VBAC with my second baby.  She focused on the importance of positioning of the baby, and helped the baby to move to a beneficial position in labor, after which labor progressed quickly.  She was extremely supportive, and helped us to feel calm although we had a fast labor.  She was very available for support and questions in the time leading up to my due date, and made extra efforts to help us get to the hospital at the right time. She helped me to get through intense contractions and was 100% present and full of positive energy and encouragement. She looked for ways to make me more comfortable during the entire experience.  She worked really well with the midwife, hospital staff and with my husband and older child.  She made us a great team.

Thank you, Angela, for your help in making this birth such a positive and joyful experience!

I hired angela for a belly cast.  I was pregnant with baby #5 and had a feeling I'd never get another shot to make such a cast again.  I could not be happier.  She chatted with me over the months of my pregnancy letting me send her rambling notes on what I liked, pinterest ideas and pictures.  Finally, we got together in person to get all those details in place that are hard to communicate electronically.  I told her about the different colors and images that meant something to my family.
At 36 weeks Angela came over and we got to work.  The whole process of plaster and supplies was very well contained and I had zero clean up.  She worked for about an hour on building the cast on my belly.  It was totally fun and I felt light-hearted and pampered.
She took the cast home and worked on the designs.  My son was born at 38 weeks.  After the cast was done, she brought it to my house.  It was so wonderful to have the memory of what my body was able to do, since it is so easy to forget, especially when feeling fat and post-partum.

I can't say enough about Angela, her kind nature, her intuition! and her professionalism.  She is so easy to work with.  I'd hire her again for anything.  Love ya, Ang!

My wife and I had a great feeling about Angela immediately after meeting her.  She has a very pleasant and joyful demeanor.

Our home birth experience with her was fantastic; she was there as soon as my wife started to feel contractions and helped every step of the way after.  As a husband you never want your wife alone while going through birth and Angela made it possible for me to take care of other things as needed without worrying about a laboring wife.

Angela was supportive and sensative to all my wife's needs and took very good care of her to make our homebirth an awesome experience.

I first met Angela when we attended a CAPPA Labor Doula training together.  Since then, we have become good friends and great support for each other.  I have found her to be a reliable source for information on childbirth, parenting, and more.  Her artwork is truely incredible and demonstrates her love and passion for life.  Angela's warm, compassionate, and energetic outlook on life and it's greatest events makes her a perfect source for support during your childbearing time and transition into parenthood.

I am the Chapter Leader of ICAN of Pottstown and met Angela through the group about a year ago. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work and I could tell from the moment that I met her that she loves working with women through their birth experiences. Angela joined me as Co-Leader of ICAN of Pottstown a few months ago and has already saved me on a couple of occasions. She is sweet, dependable, and caring. I would definitely recommend her as a doula.

The most difficult experience of my life

I have known Angela for many years. We met in college and were instantly close. A strong faithed Christian woman who shared my morals and values. When she made the decision to become a doula I knew I needed her to attend the birth of my daughter. My husband had left shortly after I found out I was pregnant and would need a lot of support throughout my pregnancy and birth. Angela attended many of my appointments and aided in making important decisions. She was/is extremely knowledgeable and it made my pregnancy that much easier. Unfortunately, the day before my due date my daughter passed away. Angela was there with me from start to finish with everything. She helped make impossible decisions and never left my side as I labored and delivered my stillborn daughter. My sweet Lydia Grace was a successful VBAC in spite of the awful and life changing circumstances. Angela was a support that to this day is here for me not just as my friend, but as my doula. Even though loosing my daughter was the worst thing that ever happened to me I'm so glad that I had the loving support of Angela as my doula. I would recommend her services and her huge heart to anyone who wants to have the best possible birth experience for them and their baby.

We met Angela towards the end of my pregnancy and despite a short timeframe until the birth, Angela spent the time with us to understand our needs and preferences for birth. She was always available when needed to meet or just to answer a short question via email. The most helpful thing that Angela did , pre-labor, was work to understand elements of my previous labor that she could improve or guide us to improve prior to labor. We practiced, as recommended by Angela,  stretches and movements that successfully rotated in the baby into optimum birth position, as well as help improve my back pain.

Our labor was extremely fast, and caught us off guard, but as soon as Angela arrived she brought a calmness and sense of control that allowed both myself & my husband to stay focused, make decisions and not panic. Angela could quickly assess where I was in labor and gave us the confidence to make the next decision.   She provided the support needed during labor , while allowing my husband to remain the primary role in the bith.

We strongly recommend Angela. She is very knowledgable in pregnancy and labor. Her calm supportive nature is exactly what women need in labor.
