We hired Laura from Day 1 coming back home and this wad the best decision ever! Laura wad súper profesional, well trained, kind, knowledgeable and was a blast to have her especially being first time parents. She recommended an App to track feeds, pumping etc. She was always here to answer questions and give suggestions about pumping/breastfeeding based on our needs. Laura is very respectful and nice. She also got sick and kindly asked us to come or not, and send us a substitute (Breanna Davis) who was great. After 6 weeks together, we will definitely miss her.

Laura was vital to our postpartum experience. She provided invaluable guidance, support, and resources during those raw early days, and was by my side while I struggled with breastfeeding, sleep deprivation, and a severe postpartum mood disorder. She prioritized my needs as a new mother, made sure my husband felt heard and supported, and provided unwavering care to our beautiful son. We slept soundly knowing that he was in her care during the night, and knew we could count on her to work through any challenges with us along the way. Laura is wise, pragmatic, and non-judgemental in her approach, and cares deeply about each of the families she works with. We miss having her around, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for postpartum care.

Laura was a huge support. She came as soon as we needed her and she was not bossy at all. She helped my husband to be my primary support by demonstrating what he could do for me, but also reminding him to eat and take breaks. She stayed with me the whole time, even when I had to transfer to the hospital for stitches. She also checked in with me after the birth a few times and was a great support post-partum. I really appreciated her being available to me through texting or email both before labor began and after beginning newborn care.

She stayed engaged throughout the whole process, taking notes for us to help remember the process afterwards, and she even took some pictures of some special moments. My labor got quite long and she never checked out; she provided non-stop support. Her support was practical and knowledgable. She kept things very positive for me and my family in the room with me, even when things got rough. She made a very hard labor much more bearable. We are SO glad to have had her with us.

Laura is beyond fantastic. As we prepared for the arrival of our twin boys, we researched doulas based on others' advice. We thought we might like the help 2 nights a week at first and considered it a luxury rather than a need. when our guys arrived, I found my recovery was much more significant than I thought and, even with a Grandma visiting, we needed a lot more help. Laura agreed to come 2 days earlier than scheduled with short notice and continued to come every night that week. She helped us through breastfeeding challenges (a LOT of them), figuring out cloth diapering, first baths, schedule logistics, and so much more. Laura helped me recover from very physically challenging deliveries; without her, I know I would have gotten much sicker before I got better. She's also connected to a network of other professionals, including lactation consultants. This means they can share information to provide seamless support. We feel like Laura truly saves our sanity and our family with her expertise, kind spirit, non-judgmental attitude, and patience. She's a gem that we'd recommend to any parent.

Laura started out working as a post-partum doula for our family and continues on as a nanny now.  She is fantastic and I don' t know how I would have gotten through those first months without her.  She has a remarkable ability to meet a family, intuit their needs, and then work to meet them.  So, for example, she could tell I was having a hard time organizing my baby's clothes. Without my needing to ask, she devised a system so that I could find what I needed quickly. And she was this helpful in many areas of our lives. She also has a vast knowledge of baby products and services and helped my partner and I avoid buying things we didn't need and actually focusing on what we did need. (The NoseFrida, which she told us about, has really helped deal with our baby's congestion). She is incredibly supportive of breastfeeding and, with  her help, I'm still going at 7 months and have a large freezer stash that she organized so I can easily figure out when milk was pumped and when it needs to be used. I trust her with my baby completely and I still seek her advice when I face some new baby concern. I am really lucky that another mom told me about her and I hope all new moms get to work with someone as knowledgable, supportive, and helpful as Laura.

She was a game changer. You could tell Laura loved our baby. The firs time she came she helped direct our conversation as we went through our stuff, we didn't know what it was like to have a baby so we didn't have too many questions. She gave us vital information we didn't know we needed. When she came right after our baby arrived we had questions, she had answers.  I had questions about soothing, nursing, sleeping, how to use stuff I got at the baby shower, what is normal, if our baby was normal and generally what to expect next. Everyone should get Laura just before and after they have a baby. She helped us fully experience and enjoy the inevitably short newborn weeks. She also taught us how to encourage and recognize developmental milestones, so we could recognize the right moments to be proud boastful parents. We really liked how quickly she responded to emails and texts as well. When Abby (baby) projectile vomitted (purged her stomach) Laura had the information we needed really fast. I will definetely be using her again :).
