Hello, friends! I’m Sara-Rene, part time L&D nurse and birth doula. As a montrice doula, I am able to help parents labor at home for as long as possible while ensuring the safety of both mom and baby. I am clinically trained to assess baby’s heart rate, vital signs of laboring mom, and perform cervical exams as requested. I work with you and your partner to help ensure the most positive birth experience possible. It is my mission in life to help parents welcome their sweet babies while feeling empowered through labor and birth. I have years of experience in both the hospital and home birth setting, medicated and unmedicated. I have a special passion for VBAC moms as well since my first two children were born via cesarean followed by two successful vaginal deliveries. I help educate with both evidence based research and experience, we will review birth preferences, and I will provide both physical and emotional support during labor, birth, and postpartum.
