Hello! I’m Megan. My passion for supporting Mamas started after I had my daughter during the pandemic, with the world at a standstill and such a lack of resources available to me - I felt so ill equipped for my birth experience. I never wanted to see another mama dealing with that same feeling! I dove into the world of women supporting women though doula work. Now as a mother of two I know first hand the excitement, anticipation and anxiety of bringing a child into this world. I want to be there to support you through pregnancy, birth and into motherhood. Whether you are 6 weeks or 36 weeks… it’s never too early or too late to bring a doula along on the journey. The experiences I have had supporting moms and families in pregnancy and labor has been the greatest joy and I hope to do it for many years to come!

Megan was amazing to work with! I originally had considered a doula, but decided against it because of the added expense and not thinking it was worth it at the time, but later learned that my midwife required a doula for first time home-birthers and first time moms. I'm really glad I ended up using a doula because it ended up being so helpful especially with how my birth turned out. My baby was breech and Megan helped me through my anxiety and answered all my questions promptly and thuroughly. I did all I could to help baby turn, but as we learned later, the cord was wrapped around her neck and she wouldn't have been able to turn no matter what I did. Megan supported me through a breech birth at home, and while I was in transition, held my hand when I reached out for it. (My husband was supporting me from behind.) My baby struggled to breathe when she was born, with meconium stuck in her lungs. Megan worked wonderfully with my birth team and dialed 911. With everyone working together and first responders showing up just in time and taking my daughter to the hospital, her life was saved. Megan, along with the rest of my birth team, gave me comfort and support as I wasn't able to go to the hospital myself until four hours later. Megan drove me to the hospital to be reunited with my husband and baby and gave me breastfeeding support before going home. It was around 2 am at that point. She came for a postpartum visit a week later and has continued to answer any questions I have here and there on my journey as a first time mom. I am so grateful for her help and friendship. It makes a big difference, although I have never had a different doula, that she is a Christian and a mom herself. She is smart, capable, and kind, and I highly recommend her!

I gave birth for the first time in 2022. Having Megan as my doula was the best thing I could have done to help me have an amazing birth experience. Megan met with me and my husband before my due date and walked us through all our questions and concerns. She was very knowledgeable and put my inexperienced self at ease. During labor my goal was to go all natural/unmedicated. Megan knew all the right pressure points to relieve my back labor and help me achieve my goal. I could not have done it without her. My second baby came in 2024 and I knew without a doubt I wanted Megan to be a part of my birth team again! This time around my birth went much quicker, but Megan was with me the whole time offering words of encouragement and helping me relax. Megan helped me reach my goal of another unmedicated birth. I highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for an amazing doula!
