Hello! I’m Caitlyn Johnson and I’m a trained Birth Doula through DONA International. The births of my two children, having a miscarriage, and listening to the birth stories of friends & family inspired me to become a doula. As a doula, I’m passionate about creating a birth environment that is tailored for your desired birthing experience by establishing comfort measures, supporting you during labor positions, and sharing helpful information and resources. My goal is to collaborate with your provider’s team with compassion, support, and advocacy ensuring that we work together to achieve the best birth experience possible for you, your partner, & your baby. Birth is a transformational experience and I'd be honored to be a part of your team during your journey. I’m based in Souderton, PA and serve families in the Greater Philadelphia area. We had the privilege of having the best doula for the delivery of our first baby. It can be challenging and very overwhelming choosing a doula. However, it came pretty quick and easy for us when we initially spoke with Caitlyn on the phone. Personally, I was trying to find a doula that would best fit my personality and who I felt the most comfortable with. We met with Caitlyn at our home twice before our delivery and went over our birth plan, things to expect during delivery, emoitional and physical aspects of delivery and breathing/position techniques. We couldn't have been any happier choosing Caitlyn. She was so quick to respond to our questions, she made sure we both felt comfortable with the decisions we were making and explained the process thoroughly.
