Natalie was the doula who supported us throughout the pregnancy and birth of our first child, Nathan.

We were a ball of nerves given this was our first pregnancy (fear of the unknown) and Lauryn had what we thought was a septum (preliminary diagonsis during our fertility journey) so we had heightened anxiety about complications due to that.

Natalie was supportive and calm throughout the pregnancy. She was always available when we had questions or needed support through WhatsApp. She was supported by Suzanne M. as well who had a wealth of great information to share.

Nathan ended up being breech at our last ultrasound during the pregnancy which meant we would be having a planned c-section. However, they did a confirmatory ultrasound right before they were going to take us back to the operating room and lo and behold, our little stinker flipped and was no longer in breech position. We left the hospital to try and achieve a natural birth which is what Lauryn desired. It was a whirlwind from here of initial elation, going through the induction process, and ultimately not progressing enough after over 24 hours on Pitocin which led to an emergency C-section. The C-section had some complications (hemmorage and some issues with the epidural/spinal), but ultimately turned out okay and Lauryn recovered swiftly and smoothly from here. Nathan had no issues from the get go and has been thriving ever since!

Natalie was so kind, warm, and supportive throughout all of the above. She was there for us every step of the way throughout the induction process and did everything in her power to support us and help us through the process. While we didn't get the outcome we hoped for in a natural birth, it was through no fault of Natalie and I couldn't recommend her enough for anyone wishing to have a doula support them on their birthing journey.

Natalie was absolutely outstanding with help during labour. It was my first baby and I was scared about each contraction but she talked me through it and supported me in ways I didn't know was possible. She coached me through each contraction like a trusted friend. She truely had my best instrest in mind. She was a steady presence for 17hours, and never left my side and I couldn't be more thankful. Money well spent and I would recommend her to anyone.

Natalie is truly amazing! She cares so much about her clients and it shows. We ended up with a preemie baby at the hospital and she came to support me and my husband along the way. She was our voice when in needs to communicate with doctors, she took care of me and my partner every step of the way, keeping tracks of what was happening so information could be passed on. We were really blessed to have her by our side during the birth of our daughter.

I have so many good things to say about our experience with Natalie! Right from our first meeting I felt so comfortable with her, at each prenatal appointment she brought so much valuable information to help prepare for stages in pregnancy, labor, and post partum.

During the labor, Natalie showed her extensive knowledge and guided me through different positions and movements to help alleviate discomfort. She regularly cheered me on, and aided my husband in how he could assist me through the labor as well. She helped us stick to our natural birth plan, and my husband and I both agreed that without her we would not have known nearly enough of what to do during the difficult parts of the labor.

Natalie truly feels like a trusted family friend, we look forward to having her with us for all of our future babies. Her passion for her role has even led me to consider becoming a doula myself in the future. Do not hesitate to contact her to be your doula; she is a 100/10 in our books!

I was so grateful to have Natalie's support during my pregnancy and labour and delivery. She is very kind and knowledgeable and was very supportive of my birth preferences. When I ended up needing an induction at 38 weeks, I was really nervous, but Natalie helped me navigate what to expect and how to advocate for myself, so I was able to go into it feeling more confident. My labour went very quickly and was very intense. Natalie was so helpful during labour. Her support with using different positions, counter pressure, breathing, and encouragement helped me to be able to have the unmedicated birth I was hoping for, even despite the induction. I couldn't be happier with how things went and I am so glad I decided to work with Natalie.

Absolute fantastic experience with Natalie.  As the husband I wasn't totally familiar with what a doula did... but after having the support of Natalie during the process I was absolutely blown away.  She was so insanely supportive for my wife and a true advocate for her.

I cannot recommend Natalie enough! She is absolutely amazing and such a huge help throughout my pregnancy and labor. She is knowledgeable and informative, and knew exactly how to support me when I needed it. I honestly dont think I couldve gone long hours of unmedicated labor without her guidance and encouragement. If you are considering a doula, Natalie is the best to support you!

Natalie wonderfully supported my husband and me throughout our pregnancy and birth preparation process. She helped us to feel educated about our options and well prepared, especially considering this was our first baby. Natalie is such a warm and calming presence and effortlessly became part of our "team" as we geared up for this life-altering event. We felt that Natalie was well-informed and knowledgeable and did a really good job of sharing information neutrally, not pressuring us and holding space for us to make our own decisions. For our actual birth, it was so helpful to have an objective support person in the room who could act as an emotional anchor when things didn't go as planned. Natalie was an amazing resource to help keep us calm, and she also helped reiterate and keep track of information that was shared during our birth process. This was particularly helpful as in the moment, with heightened emotions, our ability to retain information was definitely impacted. We also appreciated Natalie's ongoing support following our daughter's birth, especially being able to debrief and process our experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend Natalie to anyone wanting to add a doula to their birth team.

Natalie was my doula for my August 2025 birth, with remote support from Suzanne. Thanks Suzanne for the great prenatal class and helping answer our many questions! And to Natalie: This labor was certainly a roller coaster ride with scary ultrasounds and an early induction (that didn't fully work) but it had the best possible outcome and I couldn't have done it without you Natalie. Between helping me with positions, hip squeezes/jiggles, your calm and encouraging words and presence, I really feel you helped me achieve an unmedicated birth of a healthy baby, even though it wasn't at home like originally planned. My husband also really valued your support that helped him to feel calm and helpful to me during labour. I will definitely recommend you to other mommas ??

Natalie from Wise Birth Doula Collective was awesome to work with. She was a wonderful resource to have throughout my pregnancy and I knew I could go to her with any questions that I had. She made sure my husband and I were well-informed and ready for the birth process. During my labour, she was a calm presence that helped guide us through the process. She also took photos and created a birth timeline for us to look back on afterwards. I highly recommend her to anyone who is preparing for birth!

Both my husband and I are so grateful to have Natalie as our Doula. 

After my first birthing experience, I could not imagine not having Natalie around. 

She made our hospital stay a lot more comfortable and stress free. 

During the birthing experience, she provided many relief methods during my contractions, provided me with emotional support when I was having difficulty breathing through them and helped me keep moving after the epidural was administered. 

Even in the beginning when we first met Natalie, it was so nice to be able to reach out to somebody if we had questions or someone to talk to. 

Natalie was super informative and so easy to to approach. 

Again, we couldn't be more grateful it made my experience less scary and I felt so supported. 

If we were to have another kid again, I would definitely reach out to Natalie for the next one

Working with Natalie was amazing! My husband had to stay at home with my toddler during my labour so Natalie was my main support person. She helped coach me through my labour providing just the right guidance and reassurance. She was just what I needed to get through a tough labour. We had a wonderful experience working with Natalie. Her expertise was so appreciated as my pregnancy became more complicated and we learned I would be induced at 37 weeks. Being first time parents, we really appreciated the information and knowledge she offered leading up to the birth. Once we arrived at our induction date, having Natalie in the hospital with us was absolutely amazing. Not only was she a calm presence, but having someone consistently in the room while I was labouring was incredibly helpfu and comforting. We would definitely recommend Natalie as a doula and would love to have her with us again if we choose to have any more children.

We used Natalie as our doula for the birth of our first child and had such a positive overall birth experience! Natalie is a wonderful doula; she is very professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. She was always there to support our questions, providing very timely and encouraging support that aligned with our birth wishes.

During our birth, Natalie encouraged and advocated for the use of different positions and techniques that we truly believe contributed to a very smooth delivery with minimal interventions. She was very skilled at different techniques such as hip jiggles and others. Natalie’s support and warm, encouraging nature helped contrinute to a calming and positive birth experience. She was truly excited to be part of our birth experience and did not treat it as a job but rather as a calling. This helped having her around for our birth feel very natural and right.

My husband really appreciated her support, noting she helped him feel involved and supported in an unfamiliar environment. She was instrumental in helping him take care of himself at the hospital so he could be present in supporting me in all the major parts of my birth experience.

We highly recommend Natalie and would use her again. Thanks to Natalie, there is nothing we wish would have gone differently with our birth; it was a wonderful experience!

I cannot recommend Natalie enough! From the moment we met her, she exuded warmth, positivity, and deep knowledge about birth and labor. We felt prepared leading up to the birth because of Birth Smarter's prenatal classes. Throughout my entire labor, Natalie was an incredible source of physical and emotional support. She helped me through contractions in ways that made a real difference, always reassured my husband when he felt helpless, and guided us in asking the right questions to our medical team to stay informed and empowered.

With the doctors and nurses being so busy, having Natalie by our side throughout the whole labour was invaluable. She ensured we never felt alone, always providing the calm and confidence we needed in the moment.

If you’re looking for a positive birth experience you need a doula who is not only experienced but also someone who you feel comfortable with and someone that will keep a calm positive energy in the labour room, Natalie is the one.

Myself and my Husband had Natalie as our Doula and absolutely loved every minute of it. I truly don't know how I could have done it without her. The help she provided before, during & after were not only filled with so much knowledge but also comfort knowing that I could do it. During the actual labour process, Natalie's coaching, praise and assistance was truly unmatched. I went into the process not too scared and confident knowing I could do it 100% naturally. Which was a massive help for me. She gave such a good blend of assistance but also space to allow myself and my husband to share in the experience together. Would highly recommend having Natalie for support during your birthing journey. Not only is she there the day of the birth but also throughout pregnancy to provide resources and answer any questions needed! Our first birth experience would not be the same without her support. Her presence was calming, warm and absolutely strengthened me as I navigated through the harder parts of the journey while in labor. Her coaching towards me and my fiancé with all of the positions to spin the baby helped tremendously. My partner who was unsure about hiring a doula at first loved having her there as well. She was one of the reasons I was able to follow through with my birthing wish of an all natural birth! We would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Natalie!

Where to begin! It's hard to put into words just how incredible our experience was with Natalie. She exceeded our expectations and then some. I truly could not have done this without her, nor would I have had such a positive birthing experience if it wasn’t for her. She was our rock, our shining light and most importantly our support - not only for myself but for my husband as well.

My husband and I inquired for a doula as soon as we found out we were pregnant. We were both extremely nervous about the birthing process and wanted to have a positive experience.

Once we met with Natalie, she made us feel right at home. She provided a safe and comforting environment - always checking in.

When I went into labour, Natalie worked with me for hours to get my little one to flip - guiding me through many different positions - which helped tremendously.

When we had questions, she provided her wisdom and guidance - all with her gentle and calm demeanour. She had my back and was in my corner especially when we had to make some quick decisions at the hospital. She also created the most beautiful birthing environment - bringing candles, music and essential oils to calm my nerves and help with my pain.

We truly feel blessed to not only call Natalie our friend but family. Going through such an emotional and intimate experience created a bond that we are forever grateful for.

Having a doula at the birth of my baby girl was the best decision that we made. Natalie helped us answer questions when I was unsure and helped prepare me for all scenarios. As disappointed as I was to not have a natural birth, having the support system of a doula made every moment much easier. Natalie was also a source of stability for not only myself but for my partner as well. She helped guide him during the birth while at the birth center. He has so much appreciation for what she was able to provide. We both felt so comfortable with Natalie and it made the birth such a positive experience. Thank you Natalie.
