I can't begin to express my gratitude to Melissa for all her support in my pregnancy, labour, and post-partum. Melissa is a truly compassionate doula who is supportive of not just the birthing person but also the partner. My husband felt really empowered with Melissa guiding him to help me through labour contractions. We had purchased additional post-partum hours with Melissa and we were amazed at how much she could accomplish in a 4-hour shift! Melissa would help with taking care of the baby so that we could nap, but would get so much done around the kitchen and home, from preparing a meal to putting away dishes, to sweeping and mopping to taking out the garbage, and folding and ironing our laundry! We had no complaints with Melissa's work ethic or style. Melissa is super personable and easy to talk to. I could sit and talk to her for hours! She has great recommendations and the resources she has created for her clients are very easy to read and understand. I don't know how many kids are written for me, but if I am ever on a journey with another baby, I hope that Melissa is a part of that story. (Ps, she takes really flattering labour and birth photos!)
