I was so thankful to have had Carly by my side during my 1st birth! My husband and I were both so nervous and not sure what to expect since this was our 1st baby. Hiring Carly was the best decision we made! She worked with me to create a birth plan I was comfortable with and explained options to me since I really didn't know much about the process. She also checked in with me multiple times leading up to the birth and would send me checklists with helpful exercises and other things to help me prepare for birth.

Once the day came, my husband texted her, and she arrived at the hospital when we asked her to come. I labored for a long time, and she was there supporting me the whole time! I loved that Carly decorated my room with lights and battery candles. It was so calming especially because I rested for a long time before I started pushing. Creating a calming space was so helpful for me to stay relaxed and rested. She also advocated for me when the nurses would come in and check on me and helped progress my labor with different positions.

When it was time to push, Carly was cheering me on the entire time and offered different items to help me feel more comfortable. I was so scared and nervous about birth, but I really believe she made the whole experience a positive one for me. I cannot recommend Carly enough, you'll be in great hands if you choose her as your Doula :). Thank you Carly!!!

Having Carly as our doula made our birth experience and first two weeks of postpartum much easier to get through. I had to be induced much earlier than expected (6 weeks early) and Carly was still able to be there for me at the birth. Carly helped with different positions and massaging while I was laboring. I feel like this may have helped me progress more quickly than I was expecting for my first pregnancy, which ended up being a total of around 24 hours. She also helped make the labor and delivery room feel comfortable and cozy by having essential oils and twinkle lights around the room. Although our postpartum care schedule needed to be rearranged, Carly did all that should could to make sure our needs were still met. Having Carly there for night shifts helped us catch up on much needed sleep so that we could be ready to go the next morning. We also did some day time shifts, where Carly helped wash baby bottles, do baby laundry, and give baby baths. Carly helped reassure us that we were doing a good job taking care of our newborn and that we could always reach out to her with any questions!

Carly has been an absolute blessing for our family!
From the moment we met, she brought a sense of calm, warmth, and confidence that we desperately needed as new parents - with an earlier than expected baby arrival! She was incredible with our newborn: gentle, patient, and so attentive to his needs. Watching how naturally she connected with him gave us so much reassurance, especially in those early days when everything felt overwhelming and new...

What stood out most was how she cared not only for our baby, but for us as parents. She supported us with zero judgment, always meeting us exactly where we were: (very) tired, emotional, excited, confused, and guiding us through each moment with kindness and clarity. She made sure we were resting (sleeping!!), healing, and learning in a way that felt empowering, not stressful.

Carly didn’t just help us survive the newborn phase, but she helped us enjoy it, too. She created a space where we could slow down, bond with our baby, and actually feel present in this special time. Her presence brought so much peace and stability into our home, and we are genuinely grateful for everything she has done for us! She is knowledgeable, nurturing, professional, and truly gifted at what she does. Having her with us during this chapter has been one of the best decisions we made for our overall wellbeing!! <3

We couldn’t have asked for a better doula than Carly – she was nothing short of extraordinary from the very first conversation to our last postpartum visit.

Carly provided overnight postpartum care for our family for several months after our baby was born. My husband and I first met her over a video call when I was pregnant with my first baby and we knew immediately that we wanted to work with her. Knowing that our stress levels would be high as we both have never been around newborns or infants, her calm and grounding presence has been exactly what we needed during our first few months home. On the days I’ve felt overwhelmed, she’s offered gentle guidance, reassurance, and practical support that made all the difference. She’s incredibly reliable, sweet, and easy to communicate with.
