I met Luisa in probably the most vulnerable and challenging time of my life. My husband found her through Care.com and she came to the hospital to help me with my at the time 3 day newborn. I had a traumatic delivery that included an emergency c-section due to hemorrhaging and was immobile for a few weeks. Her gentle, flexible and dependable ways made her the perfect care support at the time and have kept her since. In terms of baby care and as a doula, she is organized, knowledgeable, honest, thoughtful and responsive. She helped us get sleep especially during the early days as a night doula. You will not regret hiring her!

Having Luisa as our doula was an incredible experience. After our baby, Ethan, was born, Luisa was by our side, offering practical and emotional support. Her tips on breastfeeding were essential, especially when I needed help to boost my milk supply. With her guidance, I felt much more secure.

My husband, who initially didn’t see the need for a doula and wasn’t quite sure how it all worked, quickly realized he couldn’t have been more mistaken. We ended up increasing her support from four to seven days a week! Luisa is truly loving, caring, warm, and non-judgmental. When my baby wasn’t latching correctly, I felt increasingly anxious. Many people suggested I give him formula, but for me, breastfeeding was essential. Luisa listened to my concerns and not only provided valuable tips to help with my milk supply but also referred me to a fantastic lactation consultant.

In addition to caring for Ethan, Luisa also looked after me, preparing healthy snacks and always checking in on how I was feeling. Her presence made this moment so special and light. My husband and I will be forever grateful to Luisa for all the support and love she gave us. I couldn’t imagine this journey without her and wholeheartedly recommend her services!
