Amberlynn was an incredible source of support throughout my pregnancy and especially during labor. After hours of pushing without success, I ended up needing an emergency c-section—it was an exhausting and emotionally devastating moment for us. Having her there made such a difference. She kept us calm, helped us understand what was happening, and gave us the confidence when we made decisions throughout the process. Her presence was so grounding, and I truly can’t imagine going through it without her. Her postpartum visit also meant a lot to me.

My husband and I hired AmberLynn as our doula for the birth of our first child. We had interviewed a few others that we just didn't click with and we began running out of hope. After talking with Amberlynn, we knew she was a match for us. She made us feel comfortable to share our thoughts and we were highly impressed with her knowledge. Amberlynn made herself available whenever we felt we needed her leading up to the birth. She offered books and tools to help us during pregnancy. She also gifted me a birthing comb and the most beautiful birth affirmation cards to assist me in my labor. I will cherish them forever. When my water broke early in the morning she was quick to answer the phone and was on call the entire day. Amberlynn promptly met us at the hospital once my labor started. She came equipped and ready to make things as comfortable as possible for me. She set up calming lights in our room and brought her TENS unit for pain relief. As my contractions got worse, Amberlynn massaged different areas of my body, and talked me through each contraction. She has a very calm but confident presence that made me feel secure. Besides holding my babygirl in my arms, laboring with Amberlynn was my favorite part of my birth story. I would highly recommend Amberlynn to anyone as a birth doula. My husband and plan on having a second child one day and hope to hire her to help us again.
