We were matched with Jessica after our first doula was unavailable due to illness. Jessica came to our home and made us feel very comfortable as we are first time parents, she gave us tons of information to prepare us for birth and also became familiar with our birth plan. She was on call the weeks leading up to our due date and helped bring so much peace and calmness to us. The day of delivery she met us at the hospital as my labor was progressing quickly and I was unable to labor at home as planned, she was in the phone with us the entire drive to the hospital giving emotional support and guidance;truly the best cheerleader! She came into our room and instantly helped with techniques to assist my back labor and helped my husband to support me, making the room calm and offering tons of support options as I was not wanting to be medicated she had tons of pain relieve options to bring me comfort. We welcomed my daughter 5 hours later and I am so lucky we had Jessica there to walk with us through our childbirth journey. Jessica remained in contact with us for the following days and weeks postpartum and gave us guidance with swaddling, feeding and just really checking in on us as a family overall, coming back into our home to ensure we felt confident in our new role as parents and being very informative with our millions of questions. I can say I am beyond grateful to be matched with Jessica and feel so happy to have her as a part of our village, she brought so much peace to my birth experience and continued to bring joy into our home following the birth, I can't  imagine going through this experience with anyone else. I would love to have Jessica be apart of any of my future births and I hope you consider her to be apart of yours as well.

We worked with Jess a few nights a week for 2-3 months as a postpartum doula after the birth of our second son. I'd found the early newborn days immensely challenging physically and emotionally after our first son was born and we knew we needed more support the second time around! Jess was such an amazing help in completely transforming my experience of the postpartum period. She has an exceptionally warm, calm, and caring presence. She found just the right balance of checking in on how I was doing/what my needs were and giving us space for self-care and sleep overnight. She was so loving with our son and I always felt that he was in excellent hands when he was with her. Jess was wonderful about finding ways to lighten our load and help make our days go more smoothly. She even offered to do meal prep for us when there was time, which was incredible. She just looked through the ingredients we had on hand and whipped up some delicious and nourishing foods that really kept me going when I was ravenous from breastfeeding but too exhausted to even make a sandwich myself. Jess really made me (and our whole family) feel incredibly cared for and supported. Working with her really allowed me to enjoy my son's first few months and helped us settle into life as a family of four in a way that felt calm and joyful rather than hectic and stressful. I can't recommend her highly enough!

My husband and I wanted a doula's help as this was our first pregnancy and we didn't really know what to expect. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the original doula we were paired with was unavailable while I was in labor. Jessica stepped in and provided a smooth transition advising us via texts and phone calls while I was in early labor at home. When we arrived at the hospital I was admitted right away since my labor had progressed quicker than anticipated. Jessica had a previous engagement since we were a last minute addition to her schedule. Despite that, she rearranged her schedule to be at the hospital as soon as she could be. Once she arrived, she jumped into action guiding me, encouraging me, optimizing my baby's position and ensuring I was as comfortable as I could be. I am so happy with my labor experience and consider myself very lucky to have had a smooth labor. Without Jessica's  knowledge and care my labor experience would have been very different, so I am very thankful for her help and support. If we have a second baby, I will be reaching out to Jessica.

We highly highly recommend Jessica to any new parents who will need doula service. We were veey lucky to have her and very much appreciated her support during our baby's first 3 months. She is very knowledgeable about newborn / postpartum - she always had resources / solutions / answers to my questions (as a new mom you can imagine, there were a lot of concerns / questions, and working with Jessica gave me confidence that things are under control). She is super caring, reliable, competent dealing with baby. I feel completely comfortable leaving my baby alone with her - there were a few times we need to leave the apartment to run a few errands and left baby with Jessica at home knowing that she will provide the best care to our baby. She is super easy to work with as well and flexible - she always asked to help more around the apartment whenever baby is asleep.

The birth of my baby was a truly life-changing experience, and I am so grateful for the support I received from my doula, Jessica. Having had a c-section, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. Jessica's calm demeanor and unwavering support made all the difference. From our prenatal meetings to the moment my baby was born, Jessica was there every step of the way. She helped me feel empowered, informed, and at ease. I couldn't have asked for a better doula. Thank you, Jessica, for everything!
