Doula Training

• Self-trained, February 2024

Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 1 to 3 births and 1 to 4 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: No smokers, no overnights currently

Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
As long as the hospital allows doulas then I will be there. If for any reason the hospital does not allow doulas then I can provide virtual support or be there to visit you immediately postpartum.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
I only attend home births with an attending midwife. I am not a medical professional and can not provide medical care.

Fee Details

I work on a sliding scale based on how many prenatal or postpartum visits you would like. The minimum is $750 for 1 prenatal appointment to go over birth basics, on-call and to cover my assistance for the birth and 1 postpartum check-in. At most I do 3 prenatal appointments to really go in depth about all things birth and answer all questions related to birth, postpartum and newborn care.
