Hello! My name is Stormie, and I am a dedicated doula and the owner of Mommy and Munchkin by EHCC. I am committed to supporting families through their journeys with compassionate care and expert knowledge. Volunteer Work Community Outreach and Education Prenatal and Postpartum Workshops: I regularly volunteer to lead workshops and educational sessions for expecting and new mothers, providing them with essential information on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Support Groups: I facilitate support groups for mothers, offering a safe space for them to share their experiences and receive emotional support from peers and professionals. I am also a LMHC. Mental Health Support Counseling and Therapy Sessions: I volunteer my time to provide mental health support for expecting and new mothers, helping them navigate the emotional challenges of pregnancy and postpartum. Awareness Campaigns: I participate in mental health awareness campaigns to educate the community about the importance of mental well-being during and after pregnancy. Advocacy Work Women’s Rights and Maternal Health Advocacy Policy Advocacy: I actively participate in advocacy efforts to improve maternal health policies. I have worked with local and state legislators to advocate for better healthcare services and support systems for mothers and families. Public Speaking: I frequently speak at conferences and community events to raise awareness about the importance of maternal health and the need for comprehensive support for women during and after pregnancy. I am deeply committed to improving maternal health and advocating for women's rights. Through my work, I strive to empower women with the knowledge, support, and care they need to have positive birth and postpartum experiences.
