I am so grateful to have had Olena as my birth doula.
During my pregnancy, she was very responsive to any questions I had. She was always calm, nurturing, and reassuring. She also prepared my husband and I for what to expect postpartum as first time parents.
Olena had excellent communication all through my pregnancy and on the day of the birth she could judge how my labour was progressing, and came to help quickly.
She was an ideal support person to have at my birth. She was very comforting and reassuring and her demeanour was the exact gentle and maternal I needed.
It was clear that she was also knowledgeable about the birth process. Olena provided support in practical ways with the Tens-machine and applied pressure in my hips areas during contractions, and also in emotional ways by constantly offering words of encouragement, staying calm and kind the entire time.
Olena reminded medical professionals of my requests, advocated for me when I needed it, and helped me with my breastfeeding. She didn't leave until I felt settled.
She continued to help us during our postpartum period with any questions we had or support that we needed. Its clear she loves what she does and she wanted us to have the best experience possible. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The birth was the most transformative event of my life, and I'm so grateful for each moment Olena spent with us. She significantly contributed to my support team.
Olena is an inspiring and open-minded person, she gave us many tools, but she also left us space for creating our own birth experience.
Our prenatal meetings were very helpful, reassuring me that I could trust my body and my instincts and feel confident in getting ready to birth my baby girl.
Olena attended our earlier than expected birth, she arrived quickly and gave us all the support, time and care we could ask for.
She created a beautiful space for us and made our home so calm and peaceful with dimmed lights, candles, and music. She had the wisdom for when was the right time to go to the hospital and never left my side.
She kept me hydrated and made sure I was eating often in order to maintain strength for birth. She used TENS-unit to reduce my pain. She also squeezed my hips to help me cope with pain. She was always assuring me that everything I was feeling was safe and kept me calm. She made me feel strong, wise, and capable when delivering our daughter.
Postpartum, she stayed very responsive and helped me with breastfeeding issues, my postpartum mental health, and she provided a great informational support in caring for our newborn.
I highly recommend Olena!

Having Olena's unwavering support for all of our concerns was invaluable. She taught us everything we know about birth and helped us unlearn lots of untrue things. She offered a great attention to detail when helping us to develop our birth plan.
Our birth process was a long one, and she was by our side and unwavering through our four days long journey.
My birth became medically complex and Olena was able to find a way to bring me joy and hope in a time where I felt exhausted and frustrated. She made me feel so supported and safe throughout. She was a resource for my husband too. We both felt very empowered and have never felt closer.
Thank you for everything Olena, for being so central to my birth experience and making me feel so strong and powerful and loved.
I am forever grateful for your support in my postpartum phase and your way to validate and normalize everything I felt.
