Katie is the best. She made my very first birth experience feel magical. She met with me for coffee several weeks before my due date, talked about life and my birth wishes, and walked me through preparing for birth. She had my back on every decision I chose from the beginning. My birth wishes didn't necessarily go as planned but regardless, she always made me feel so loved, seen, heard, and can I say... badass? ?? Truly I felt that way. She was constantly uplifting me, calming my nerves, pushing me, and reminding me that I was created for this. She was a huge help with my husband too, made him feel just as important, and even let him nap while she walked with me through contractions. She documented the entire day from the moment she arrived at the hospital to help us, to the moment my daughter was born. We are so grateful to have that to look back on for the years to come! Katie is kind, patient, encouraging, and so much fun. She will laugh with you, and cry with you if you need it. She's not just a "doula", she's a friend. I'm a big fan of her, and I promise you will be too!
