Working with Kristie was a dream! From the initial meeting to the birth, Kristie was the best support person we could've asked for. Whenever I had a random question during pregnancy, she would respond in a heartbeat with the exact answer I needed to hear. During the birth she had so many tricks up her sleeve and made both me and my husband feel a sense of calm and encouragement. We will 100% work with Kristie on our next baby as well.

I just can't thank you enough Kristie for your help during this pregnancy and birthing process! Having 4 kids(14,12,10,8) and then with this surprise gift it was like I forgot everything and what to do and having the experience and knowledge and help of a doula was next level! You truly made this experience so easy and safe that it was like an angel was there helping us through this! No classes and reading books and hoping I have enough wisdom and understanding because we had you there knowing exactly what she needed and what to do it every sitiuatuon! I can't believe that you were able to help Danielle to have a natural birth with no meds and it still blows my mind but all the methods and breathing and positions were exactly what she needed! And it wasn't only you helping her but you helped me to be at ease and calm and be able to help with things to do for her so I was actually apart of the experience but not doing the wrong thing or getting in the way but helping along side you! Your calming presence and ability to advocate to explain to the nurses and doctors what we discussed and be able to be of sound mind in the chaos of birth was a true blessing! Not just a doula for the mother but also the biggest help for the father as well!! I would 1000% recommend you not only for first timers but even us seasoned old timers! I wish we had you for the first 4 but glad we had you for this one! Anyone wondering if she is worth it trust me she is not only worth it but you will be a repeat customer for life and tell all your pregnant friends so they can have the greatest doula as the best pregnancy helper anyone could ever want or ask for! THANK YOU again for everything and I a truly grateful beyond these simple words can express for what you did for us!!!!!!!!!

We recently had Kristie as our doula for our 5th child. We approached this pregnancy, birth and postpartum different then our others because I have had a lot of health issues after having our 4th, which was 8 years prior. My husband and I, both wanted as natural of a birth as possible. We knew we wanted a different experience and care. We never had a doula before. Kristie was an answer to prayer! She is respectful, friendly, thorough, compassionate and deeply caring for her clients. She listened to our desires and helped us clearly communicate them. She reminded us of our goals and helped explain procedures, things happening and communicated clearly with us and hospital staff. Kristie was a joy to work with and for me personally was a sense of calm in midst of fast pace, pain, the process of bringing our baby into the world in an experience I hadn't had before. Even in postpartum she has been so encouraging, helpful, and source of reassurance as I needed to process the birth. Her experience, calmness and gentle but firm touch was what I needed and I didn't realize how much till those hard moments. She was also a great support to my husband and mother who were present. Truly a joy to have her there in one of the most intimate, hardest and joy filled day. Thank you Kristie from the bottoms of our hearts! You helped us rock it!

Heading into my first birth, I felt incredibly naive and unprepared. A friend had recommended Kristie to me after having her own wonderful birth experience. After my first meeting with Kristie, it was like a huge weight had lifted off my shoulders knowing I could rely on her expertise and support. I now had an advocate in the delivery room.
I was able to go through prodromal labor for 3 days feeling fully at peace and finally give birth to a healthy baby girl, fully reassured the entire time. So thankful for Kristie, I would recommend her to anyone who needs confidence and comfort going into birth.

Kristie was so thorough in explaining interventions and providing resources before my daughter's birth. Talking with her beforehand gave me confidence as my spouse and I thought through which interventions to accept and decline. Her guidance during the birth experience helped me feel safe even when some of my plans did not work out. Her knowledge of which positions help facilitate labor was effective and helpful. My goal was to have a natural birth. With Kristie's help, I was much closer to reaching that goal than during my previous deliveries. I believe her expertise helped my baby get a safe and healthy start, and I am very thankful for her help!

I felt so loved and supportive during my pregnancy and birth because I had Kristie as my doula. She responded quickly to my texts (that meant a lot each time, but especially the day I was suddenly diagnosed with preeclampsia) and I always knew she was praying for me. I had a lightning fast induction and she showed up just as I was starting to really struggle with coping. She helped me stay calm, process fears that suddenly surfaced that were connected to my first birth, regain control of my breathing when I just wanted to give up and scream, and surrender as much as I could to the sensations. I know I experienced less pain because she was there to help me keep my mindset in the best place possible. When the back labor hit, she had these amazing massage balls that helped me get relief in between contractions, and helped me make it through the contractions. When I became overwhelmed and started thinking I needed an epidural, she suggested a lunge because baby's head was mid pelvis. The next contraction my body started to bear down. She squeezed my shoulders in such a comforting way and prayed out loud for me. My daughter was born just a few minutes later.
Throughout pregnancy and birth, I sensed from her an unwavering belief that God would carry me through it all, and after I had given birth she remarked how instinctual my movement had been throughout the labor, but especially during the pushing phase. I felt that she was proud of me, and that means a lot to me when I look back on the birth.
My husband loved having a doula too. He was able to support me, but not feel like he had to bear the full weight of supporting me, especially during the most intense hours of labor when he feels less equipped in how to help.

When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted a doula—but more than knowledge, I wanted someone who loved the Lord and would support us emotionally, spiritually, and lovingly through the journey. That’s exactly what we found with Kristie.
From our first conversation, we knew she was different. Her warmth was genuine, her words full of grace, and her faith evident in everything she said. She listened deeply, and encouraged wholeheartedly. We instantly felt peace and knew she was the right fit for us.
Throughout pregnancy, Kristie was a steady support—checking in often, and answering questions with patience. She always made herself available to answer concerns we had throughout the journey. Her visits were filled with encouragement and wisdom, both from her experience and her faith. As a former NICU nurse, she also provided valuable insight as we prepared for our own NICU journey.
During labor, Kristie’s calm, prayerful presence made all the difference. She helped me breathe, focus, and move with intention. She was an advocate, an advisor, and when we faced a tough decision during delivery, she prayed with us and guided us with compassion.
When our baby arrived, Kristie stayed with me during recovery so my husband could be with our baby in NICU - it was such a blessing to have her by my side in one of the most challenging moments of my life. She continued to check-in encourage and support in the days and weeks after.
Kristie is so much more than a doula—she has become a trusted friend. Choosing her was one of the best decisions that we made. We are forever grateful for her care, and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a doula that cares deeply for their clients, and one that they can trust!

Kristie was amazing. When we first met we were really interested in her because of her prior experience as a nicu nurse and as a mother herself. This experience along with her joyful personality made her incredibly supportive to have with us in the delivery room. Our little girl was 5 weeks early and with everything happening faster than we prepared for, Kristie was a wonderful guide and huge help through the whirlwind delivery.

I don’t even have the words to fully express how grateful my husband and I are for Kristie. She walked beside us through one of the hardest and most important days of our lives & helped us find the strength that we didn’t even know I had. After a long labor, I was able to have the VBAC I had dreamed of, and it was because of her steady support, guidance and encouragement.
One of the things I loved most was how she didn’t just support me—she also guided and included my husband every step of the way, helping him feel confident and connected in the process. Together, they were the team I needed to lean on and because of that, I never felt alone for a single moment.
She gave me a redeeming, empowering experience that I will carry in my heart forever. She knew when to comfort me, when to remind me of my own power and when to just quietly hold space so I could dig deep. She believed in me when I doubted myself and that changed everything. Because of her, my VBAC was not only successful, but healing in ways I didn’t know I needed. I’ll never forget the peace and strength she brought into the room. Kristie, you are truly a gift and I am endlessly thankful for you??

Kristie was a great resource throughout pregnancy and labor. She provided my husband and me plenty of education which was extremely helpful as it was my first pregnancy. Kristie was a calming and encouraging presence during labor for both me and my husband. We appreciate her very much!

Kristie was incredible!!! I would recommend her to anyone! I am beyond grateful to have hired her for my first birth. Everything was new to me and navigating the entire birthing process felt overwhelming at first. Not only was Kristie supportive for me, but also was very supportive for my husband during this journey.
After just talking to Kristie over the phone and meeting in person I felt so much more at peace and was no longer fearful to give birth. Her support and encouragement helped me feel 100x more confident.
She was a huge part of my birth story from start to finish. I went in with an open mind and wanted to try to see how far I could go without any medication but was not against an epidural if needed. The contractions at times felt unbearable and I didn’t think I could keep going. Her presence, helpful strategies, encouragement, prayers and guidance helped me successfully have an unmedicated vaginal birth. I’m so grateful God guided me to finding Kristie to be my doula !

I'm not good with expressing my thoughts and feelings into words, so I've put off writing this review for almost 3 months. But the more I think about it, the more I want every pregnant woman I know to know that hiring a doula is the BEST decision for you to prepare for labor. And if you're a pregnant woman in Southeast Michigan, hiring Kristie as your doula will leave you with absolutely no regrets at all.
Kristie explained everything to me and my husband and made sure we understood the different interventions that hospitals use to help us come up with a birth plan that I was comfortable with.
Unfortunately, my labor didn't go as I wanted because my water broke but no contractions came for 24 hours. Kristie was the first person I called after my water broke and she helped calm me down; I was panicking because I was a week and a half early. The next day, I went to the hospital and they started me on pitocin.
We decided to have her come when the contractions really started getting hard, so that she was really well rested and could be fully present for me. The moment I saw her coming through the door, I felt immense relief. She immediately jumped into action by using counter pressure and spoke soft words of encouragement to me. She suggested so many different positions for managing contractions and helped keep me as calm as possible.
She gave my husband a rest, so he could be fully present during pushing. She held my hand through it all. Pushing was hard, but she never wavered in her support for me and she gave so much encouragement. She stayed while the doctor worked on my repair and she helped keep me focused on my daughter so I wouldn't start panicking about what the doctor was doing.
There are some things that I wish had gone differently that day, but don't regret having Kristie there with me. If I ever need a doula again, it will be Kristie, there is no doubt in my mind about that!

I cannot thank Kristie enough for the incredible support she gave me during one of the most intense experiences of my life—labor on Pitocin with no epidural. The contractions were relentless and overwhelming, but she was calm, grounded, and entirely present through every moment. Her guidance with breathing, counter pressure, positions, and emotional encouragement helped me stay focused and empowered even when the pain felt unbearable. She created a safe, supportive space that allowed me to trust my body and the process. I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it through without her! Can not reccomend her enough.

Wow! I am so lucky to have found Kristie to be my doula. This was my second baby and I was so nervous for labor as my first was a failed induction which led to one bad decision to another ultimately ending up in a c section. I knew I didn’t want to be induced again and I wanted to have my second baby vaginally. Kristie met with me multiple times before delivery to come up with a birth plan. Baby had been breach when we first met and she shared with me methods for flipping baby at home, which were successful! When I went into labor Kristie was there from the beginning and encouraged me throughout the night. During my first child’s labor I felt neglected when asking the medical team about positions or things I could do to help advance labor naturally. Kristie however was not short on ideas! She kept me moving to keep my labor rolling and rallied around me when contractions intensified! She even helped teach my husband some methods to help me through contractions. I’m happy to say we were able to have a successful VBAC of a 9lb 10oz baby girl! I would highly recommend Kristie for anyone contemplating hiring a doula. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again for our future children and I’ve already recommended her to my friends planning for their future children.

Kristie was incredible. Even though we live outside of her service range, we were birthing at a hospital she serves. We were able to meet and greet her over zoom and have several meetings via zoom to prepare. She even met us halfway so that we could meet her in person before our birth.
She was always available via text and phone and gave us great resources to help us have a completely natural child birth in a hospital. Although I had a hospital bag packed full of items I thought would help me have a natural childbirth, I didn’t use a single one. I used Kristie’s massage ball, her encouraging words and expert coaching to get through the contractions.
She was instrumental in navigating where I was in labor and speaking with hospital staff to get me what I needed when I needed it. It was a huge weight off my husband and we could not have done it without her.

I am SO grateful to have had Kristie as my doula for the birth of mine and my husband's second baby. I was able to have a successful vbac experience and I owe a large part of that success to Kristie. There were a handful of specific times that because of Kristie's knowledge and dedication to my birth plan hopes that I was able to have a vbac. When my baby presented transverse at 40 weeks, she spent an afternoon/evening helping me to perform various movements to encourage baby to turn head down on her own. When I went into my appointment the next day for a version baby was presenting head down! I also had a failed induction, but Kristie supported and encouraged my husband and I throughout that experience. I had a second induction and during that time when my doctor said I was not progressing fast enough and would need to consider a c-section, Kristie helped me to once again perform multiple movements that resulted in progression and I was no longer in need of a c-section. Throughout 30+ hours of labor and delivery Kristie was nothing but supportive, kind, encouraging, and knowledgeable. My husband and I could not have been more grateful for Kristie!! We highly recommend her to anyone considering having a doula! When we talk about the birth of our daughter my husband and I are always commenting how we could not have done it without Kristie!

Kristie was not my chosen doula, but I was so thankful that she ended up being my back-up when the time came.
Aside from excelling at the standard tasks of coaching and comforting during the labor and delivery; I greatly appreciated her prior experience and knowledge as she used to be a NICU nurse. She easily calmed any nerves we had about what was "normal".
Overall she was a wonderful addition to the best day of our lives.

We LOVED having Kristie as our doula! This is our second baby & I knew from our first birth that we were going to want a doula for our second. After talking with Kristie & seeing how much we aligned on views/beliefs for birth, my husband & I both agreed to have her. Best decision ever! Kristie was there every step of the way: she helped me work through my first birth trauma, answered every text/call with concerns that I had, came at the perfect time to help me labor at home, & also knew exactly when to head to the hospital. In the hospital she was a vital asset to keeping my husband & myself calm with each contraction by reminding us both that this is normal & this is good. Throughout the entire labor/birth I never fears or worried like I did with my first birth. Our second birth was perfect & a huge portion of that was because we had Kristie by our side! My husband who is a laid back man who doesn't speak his opinion much even said "we can have Kristie with us at every birth from now on. That was amazing." Women like Kristie make the perfect doula in the birthing room, & we are so thankful to God that she is in our lives!

We were so blessed to have Kristie as our doula! She was so helpful with all of my pregnancy and labor questions and she helped educate my husband and I about the birth process and newborn care. During my labor and delivery she never left my side and was so encouraging and calming. Kristie helped me breath through my contractions and was a huge advocate for me at the hospital. After my baby was born she was a huge help when it came to learning how to breastfeed. We really couldn't have done it without her!
