Summer is the genuine thing. We could really tell how much she cared about doing an excellent job, and she was incredible with our newborn. The slew of resources she sent us after each time was incredibly helpful, such as videos on baby massages (she did some massages on our baby too!). She overdelivers in every way.

My experience with summer was great, she was very supportive and communicated with me whenever I needed, checked on me throughout the whole experience showing she truly love what she does. I am so glad for my first doula experience it was with summer.

Summer Si was indispensable!! She was incredibly proactive throughout my entire pregnancy and labor. She even got my daughter involved while I was in active labor, making it fun and offering lots of praise “helping mommy.” The plan was to have my 5 year old daughter away because she has a lot of big tears and big feelings almost every day. My plans fell through but my doula really was there to the rescue. If you’re looking for a doula that is knowledgeable, pays attention to detail, knows how to read the room (situation) and extremely caring/thoughtful, I wholeheartedly recommend Summer. Her character and knowledge makes her a perfect doula! Summer was born for this!

Summer provided outstanding virtual doula care to me and my partner throughout my pregnancy, scheduling 1:1 video meetings to provide education prior- and post-birth, and was available day-of labor and postpartum to me via text, phone calls, and video meetings. Her present nature instilled comfort in us as we became new parents, and her genuine passion for this field of work left us feeling nourished and supported.

Throughout my pregnancy, Summer provided invaluable resources to me spanning a wide range of topics from various viewpoints. In addition to our live discussions where she shared her expertise in the field, Summer sent post-session emails complete with a summary our meeting, custom slides she crafted for my birth, and links to external resources including videos and evidence-based articles. What I admire most about Summer is her cool, calm, and respectful approach to our discussions. During each session it was almost as if Summer laid out a menu of educational topics, so I knew what options were on the table, and as we began the tasting process, she encouraged me to expand my palate to topics that appealed most to me. As any expectant parent may tell you, there is a lot that can be learned about pregnancy and birth, and having Summer there to guide me through the education was so appreciated and helped to alleviate any feelings of being overwhelmed. 

When the delivery date came, and my water spontaneously broke at home, I felt no hesitation or fear. I wrote Summer immediately to celebrate the imminent arrival of my child, and she was right there with me. I felt so prepared, because of the work we had done together, and was ready. As Summer will tell you, “birth is metal” - it is hardcore and feels like one wild concert - and I couldn’t imagine being as excited, and rockin’ out during the delivery, without her. Overall, an incredibly positive experience and I am so grateful for Summer.

I had the pleasure of having Summer as my doula, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. A friend suggested getting a doula for support, and I discovered Summer through social media. I didn’t realize how much of an impact she would have on my journey, but I am so grateful I decided to include her in our birth experience.

Summer was extremely knowledgeable and always responsive. She supported us every step of the way, ensuring that we were well-prepared and informed. My birth ended up being expedited, but thanks to her resources and guidance, we managed to organize everything just in time for a comfortable scheduled C-section. When the hospital decided to keep me, I was incredibly nervous. Summer arrived within an hour of me letting her know about the change in plans, and her presence immediately put me at ease. She made sure the doctors were aware of my birth preferences and assisted whenever she could.

What I really loved was that the information covered during her sessions was exactly what I experienced in real life. I felt so empowered and in control of my experience because of her. Her post-partum visits and regular check-ins were invaluable, providing much-needed reassurance and support during the transition period. Summer's resources also helped my partner and I navigate post-partum life smoothly. She made sure the doctors were aware of my birth preferences and assisted whenever she could.

Summer's dedication and care were evident in every interaction, making a significant difference in our experience. If you are considering a doula, I highly recommend Summer. Her expertise and compassionate support are unmatched.
