Liza, dear, hello!

Words can't describe my feelings after yesterday's postpartum sealing ceremony... After you left, I was in an indescribable state, my whole body and mind were completely relaxed, I couldn't even speak coherently)) Last night, for the first time in 2 months since my daughter was born, I slept so deeply!!! I would wake up to feed the baby and then plunge back into deep sleep! And in the morning, I had an unusual feeling of lightness, energy, and freshness!

But this is probably not the most important thing, although it is very significant! I don't know, but something happened to my body... yesterday I felt like an unsolved Rubik's cube (( but today, I feel like everything is in its place... every cell, joint, stomach, even my spine. I hope this effect will last!)))

In short, I woke up a new person and these changes happened not only on a physical level. Something is also happening with my head... but what exactly, I think I'll figure out soon!

Liza, thank you for this magic. This ritual is extraordinary in every sense! I knew I simply needed it! Thank you!!!

Choosing Liza as our doula was one of the best decisions. She's incredibly supportive and her calming presence helped me stay calm during whole process (which took more than 30 hours). She helped maintain my breathing, gave me space when needed and sensed when I needed more active guidance. 

I wanted and had unmedicated delivery and I don't think I could've done it without her support before and during the birth.

Lisa exceeded all my expectations as a doula. From our very first meeting, her professionalism and sensitivity helped me overcome my fear of pain, ease my anxiety about possible complications, and alleviate my concerns about medical interventions. Her support made me feel significantly more confident and relaxed.

On the day of labor, Lisa arrived incredibly quickly and was always there when I needed her. She had an exceptional ability to sense my needs—discreetly stepping back when I needed privacy and offering support during the most important moments. She made me feel safe, secure, confident, and in harmony, even during the most challenging times. During the long labor, her care and attention became a true source of strength for me.

I especially want to highlight her talent for preserving memories. Lisa took stunning, artistic photos that captured the most touching moments. She worked so delicately that I barely noticed her presence, and she respected confidentiality throughout. Thanks to Lisa and my husband, the day of labor remains in my memory as one filled with beauty, magic, love, harmony, and happiness—despite the difficulties and pain.

Her care didn’t end after the baby was born. For six weeks, Lisa was always available, helping me navigate the challenges of early motherhood. Her kindness, attentiveness, and exceptional professionalism made that time much easier.

Lisa is more than just a specialist; she is a person with a big heart and a warm presence. Her support was truly invaluable. I am deeply grateful to her for agreeing to be my doula despite her busy schedule. Choosing Lisa was one of the best and most important decisions I made for myself and my firstborn.

I am very grateful to have Liza as our postpartum doula. She's punctual, patient, considerate and professional. I delivered earlier than expected but Liza was able to accommodate her schedule and helped us on the first day we came back from hospital. As a first time mother I had no clue of handling a newborn, Liza helped with set up the bassinet and changing table. She also gave advices on breastfeeding. Additionally, Liza offered postpartum massages and tips on recovery.

I highly recommend Liza as Doula to all my friends. I had wonderful support from Liza during my difficult labor process. Even all the nurses appreciated all her efforts. She has a very positive outlook and attitude which definitely rubs on another person as well. I feel she is really very genuinely invested in your birth story and deeply cares for her patients.

My partner and I interviewed three labor and delivery doulas in preparation for what we hoped would be a natural birth. We knew almost immediately upon interviewing Liza that she was the right fit for us.

We met a couple times before our delivery date to establish timelines, strategies, and alternatives. Liza was very patient with what felt like thousands of questions, and even things we didn't know we didn't know.

As we neared our due date, I was feeling calm and ready to have this baby. Our labor and delivery seemed to throw all our best plans out the window, but Liza really helped ground us and make those long hours of unmedicated contractions manageable. I felt only support as I opted to get an epidural for rest and relief. Then we continued to labor.

I had so much support in changing positions, keeping my spirits up, and working through decels. When it was clear that we had stalled out at 8.5cm with multiple other complications, Liza supported me emotionally as I opted in to a C-section I had originally hoped would not be our path.

Liza was an incredible support through the entire thing, up through coaching us through breastfeeding and following up after we went home. Her expertise, energy, and attention to detail all made the experience significantly less upsetting than it would have been were we on our own.

I would absolutely work with Liza again if given the opportunity and need. Thank you, Liza!

A huge thank you to my doula for all the support she gave me. Liza was my anchor, helping me stay in the here and now with my breathing, because giving birth without any medication is quite a trip. She was the kind of female support that we all sometimes need.

It took an hour and a half from the moment I arrived at the hospital to when I gave birth. I arrived almost fully dilated. Everything went as I wanted, without interventions, without medications, without catheters, etc.

I had the best support, Liza and Alex. I am so glad that this experience was shared with you.

We had never even heard of doulas until a friend casually mentioned Liza. We were intrigued and thought, “Why not?” From our very first meeting, Liza blew us away with her warmth and wisdom. With years of experience, hundreds of births, and being a mom of four, she’s basically the childbirth superhero we didn’t know we needed.

Liza was like our childbirth GPS, guiding us through the wild ride of pregnancy and labor with a perfect mix of calm, humor, and expertise. I had to schedule a cesarean for medical reasons, and I was initially disappointed. I wanted a more natural birth, and I was afraid I wouldn't feel as connected to the experience. That's when I decided to hire Liza. From our first meeting, she put my fears at ease. She explained how she could support me even in a surgical setting. Liza was with me every step of the way. She helped me prepare mentally and emotionally for the cesarean birth, explaining what to expect and how to stay calm. In the operating room, her presence was a source of immense comfort. It was such a blessing to have Liza providing us doula services for our second baby Alexander. We wanted a natural childbirth so it was crucial to control pain via relaxation and breathing. Liza helped the mother throughout the entire labor both physically and mentally. We thought we learned a lot and prepared well but Liza improved our experience dramatically! (someone who helped delivering 400+ babies always knows more). She facilitated the process via massaging, breathing together, and giving us wise timely suggestions from start to finish. Liza explained nurses and doctors our preferences, requested equipment for excercising, helped taking best postures at every stage. We highly recommend Liza for anyone having their first baby, and each next baby thereafter.

When I became pregnant, I knew I needed a doula. Being 43 years old with two previous cesarean sections and learning about a double umbilical cord entanglement late in the pregnancy, I needed all the support I could get. I expected a doula to provide massages, dim the lights, hand me things, and offer positive words. I had no idea how much more a doula could offer.

Yes, Lisa did all those things, and they were incredibly convenient and helpful. But what I underestimated was the profound role of someone who treats this not just as a job, but as a calling—a true love for supporting women. In those moments when I lost faith in myself, when my husband, despite doing everything right, began to feel lost and doubtful, Lisa was our anchor. The midwife suggested an injection to ease my pain, but Lisa was there, whispering that everything was going according to plan, that I was doing great. She gave me the strength to keep pushing.

It felt like I wasn’t alone. I felt an immense love for this woman who believed in me, who never doubted me. Without Lisa, my experience would have been completely different. With her, it was filled with love and support. I regret underestimating the importance of a doula, especially in a hospital setting where protocols often take precedence over personal care.

During the hours when my daughter decided to be born, I held onto Lisa's dreadlocks and sang. Thanks to her, Zoe and I had a beautiful and powerful birth experience, free from fear, deep and revealing.

Throughout the birth, I felt like I was in another dimension, but I remember so much. I remember when she arrived, a bright light seemed to enter with her. She lit candles, filling the room with the sweet scent of orange, started playing soothing music, and her warm hands began to gently massage my back. During moments of unbearable pain, I leaned on her, moaning, growling, and sometimes even laughing. Her eyes were always close, full of life, bringing me calm and reassurance, especially when the pulse of life felt stronger than ever. Sometimes, she would sit aside and draw in a notebook, but always remained connected to me. She created a peaceful space when I needed solitude and supported my husband, who was by my side the entire time. She captured touching photos and videos of Zoe’s first moments with us.

After the birth, she visited us at home, took care of me, brewed healing herbs, massaged my belly, and helped me relax and sleep. Her care was invaluable and comforting. Recently, she performed a postpartum sealing ceremony for me, but this needs a separate testimonial.

Warm, gentle, caring, yet incredibly strong and powerful, Lisa has a magical presence that feels like it comes from a profound source. Lisa, how did I ever live before I met you?

Liza, hello!  I think I'll never forget my childbirth although it’s been 7 years since..

I am so grateful to God, the universe, and the girl thanks to whom I found you literally just days and hours before childbirth. Before, I had never encountered or knew that there was such a profession as Doula - a birth assistant...

Of course, I was very worried about my FIRST childbirth!!! The unknown scared me... I didn't know what I was capable of and what I could endure and go through. And how it all happens...

And then came the moment. When I realized that only YOU were needed! Not my husband, not my mom, not my dad, not my friends, and no one else... but YOU!

I have always been and remain a sensitive person to people, surroundings, and emotions. And my husband's intuition did not fail us, we understood in one moment that at this important moment in our life, you were as necessary as air... as breath... as a guide...

And I was amazed at how attentively you cared for me every second! Every inhale, exhale, contraction, desire, request you caught and helped me endure. It's priceless how much you psychologically supported me, how you set the right mood for me and chose words so that I wouldn't give up, but instead concentrate, but at the same time surrender to the situation like riding the waves and sensations. You helped me breathe, relax, move... I felt your warmth and caring enveloping me all the time, as if you were experiencing the same thing...

Thank you so much for this amazing experience of self-discovery, feminine nature, and the miracle of the birth of my first child.

P.S. If it weren't for YOU! I would have agreed to triple anesthesia everywhere and double cesarean :))
