We had a great experience working with Emma during our first couple of months postpartum. She was communicative, knowledgeable, reliable, and easy to work with, which made a huge difference during a very new and intense time. Emma took wonderful care of our baby and brought a steady presence into our home that we completely trusted. Her support helped us feel more confident as new parents and made those early weeks much more manageable. We’d absolutely recommend her to other families looking for a postpartum doula.

We worked with Emma for several months while our twins were about 6-10 months old. As 32 week preemies, they were still waking up overnight quite often needing to feed and had difficulty with sleep training (two babies at once in the same room, not easy to sleep train!). Emma was so patient with us and learned our routine very quickly. She was also very communicative about scheduling needs, baby needs, and household needs. We appreciated her willingness to adapt to new systems when we were trying a new mode of sleep training or dropping an overnight feed. We always felt super safe leaving the care of our kids to her overnight and are so grateful she was part of our care team in that first year!

Emma is a real gem and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She came over to support me and my newborn with overnights while my husband had to travel internationally unexpectedly. It was great to have Emma's calming presence in the home and her expertise in dealing with newborns was greatly appreciated. She immediately knew just what to do to settle my fussy baby and expertly met my daughter's feeding/diapering needs throughout the night. It was such a relief to know there was a professional in the house to help me take care of her and meant I got a lot more sleep than I had been getting. It was great to wake up to clean/sterilized bottles and pump parts as well as detailed notes of my baby's movements/feedings/etc. throughout the night. Emma was on hand to discuss other issues and helped with answering many different newborn care-related questions that I had. I wish I had known about her with my first child and would recommend her to anyone about to give birth or who recently gave birth!
