I worked with Ross for about ten weeks following the birth of my daughter, and I’m grateful for the support she provided during that time. She was dependable, easy to have in our home, and always willing to jump in with whatever I needed—whether it was prepping food, doing laundry, helping with baby care, or offering breastfeeding support. She consistently encouraged me to rest and take care of myself, which was something I really needed in those early weeks.

One thing I especially appreciated was her warm, chatty presence. Postpartum can feel isolating, and her ability to make conversation with anyone helped the days feel lighter and less lonely. Overall, she brought great energy to our home, and I’m thankful to have had her support during such a vulnerable time.

Hiring Ross was one of the best decisions we made as new parents. She met us at the hospital on the day our daughter was born, and was by our side for the next six weeks. Her calm presence, non-judgemental guidance, and experience of being a parent herself made those early weeks feel manageable and fun. She supported us emotionally (and physically through yoga sessions for mom), helped us create new routines, and made sure our needs were always met. We truly don’t know how we would have gotten through this transition without her. She is a gift to any family.

In my second trimester, I booked a postpartum retreat, excited about the prospect of a little rest and pampering after my scheduled c-section. When the retreat called me (less than a month before my daughter's due date) to say they were closing permanently, I found myself scrambling to find postpartum care. My friend recommended that I reach out to Ross, and I’m so glad I did! We had an initial meeting and she immediately put me at ease with her warmth, humor, knowledge, and no nonsense communication style. We hit it off immediately—and she made some suggestions during that initial in-home visit that really impacted my experience.

After the baby was born, Ross was invaluable to us. I remember the first time she came over I cried with relief. She wore the baby so I could get some much needed sleep, cooked nutritious meals (you will become addicted to her lactation balls, the perfect snacks for both breastfeeding moms and tired partners), helped me navigate pumping, and taught us how to babywear. She felt like a friend, a helpful and knowledgeable one, the friend every new mother deserves. She guided me through some gentle restorative poses that helped my physical recovery and helped me connect with my breath. Long after she stopped coming regularly, I was having some anxiety around breastfeeding and reached out to Ross and she came over to help put me at ease about my daughter’s latch. She also connected me to great resources, including an amazing pelvic floor therapist. Ross has a holistic approach to the postpartum phase, caring for the whole person--physically and emotionally. My partner also loved working with her.

I was a very anxious FTM and Ross melted away my anxiety. Hiring her was the single most necessary investment I made in my postpartum care. She is your ally, your friend, your baby whisperer. She’s warm, hilarious, and shares her knowledge in a way that feels collaborative and caring. Just hire her!

Ross rules. It was such a gift to have her come to my home in those first oh-so-vulnerable weeks after becoming a mom. She's kind, insightful, comforting, and reliable. She's also perceptive and great at identifying needs. I remember one day she walked in my front door, took one look at my exhausted face, and said, "You're sleeping the whole time I'm here." So I went to bed while she cared for my son for several hours; she would just pop in as needed for me to nurse him, then I'd go back to sleep. On other occasions, she would listen while I talked about feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure. She'd provide advice or recommendations when appropriate—she showed me how to safely co-sleep, for instance, and helped me navigate a breast pump for the first time—but she'd also remind me that my feelings were valid. "You don't have to love this part," she told me once, referring to the fourth trimester. That was so helpful to hear! Other reasons Ross is great: She's funny, she makes delicious snacks, and she's quick to reply on text in between sessions if you need her. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a post-partum doula (which, in an ideal world, every new birth parent would have access to).

Ross was an integral part of my postpartum recovery support team and early motherhood education. As a new parent I was overwhelmed and overtired... when Ross swooped in to help. She was incredible with my newborn, which put me at ease, giving me a break to do selfcare while she tended to him. As a mother herself, she has a very special touch with children and knows how to keep them calm and happy. She has a wealth of skills and knowledge -- she even led private yoga instruction for me while she would babywear my little one, so I could take time to center myself during a very hectic time. I trusted her as a partner through my feeding issues and work navigating different specialists -- her support has been invaluable. Thank you, Ross!!!

Ross is the best. I don't have the budget for a full-time nanny so when I found out about postpartum doula I was excited. I needed help to focus on my work for a few hours and was nervous about getting help. Ross was so helpful with my baby and made it easy for me to leave him with another person while I worked. I've known Ross for years and knowing that she's a mom with a toddler made me feel better. She's trustworthy, sympathetic to your needs, and has inside and personal knowledge of postpartum care. I highly recommend Ross for your postpartum needs.

I had the pleasure of being Ross's birth, Doula, and watching her transition into parenthood, and eventually birthwork, where she was my postpartum Doula for my daughter. You can tell that she is someone who has done the personal work to be emotionally mature, grounded, an  excellent communicator, and truly nonjudgmental. This allows her to be incredibly adaptive, supportive, and sincere. On top of that, she manages to be the perfect amount of hilarious and also able to honor the vulnerability of this liminal and transformative space. She is truly a pleasure to be around and brought a lot of lightheartedness to my postpartum while also making space for any tough feelings that came up. She is someone who is able to hold space for your experience in a way where you can work through your feelings and ideas and figure out what's best for you and then unequivocally supports that without judgment. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their support, or even as a friend. She is one of those rare people that you meet and immediately click with, and want to know more about and be around. Somehow, despite having all of that going on, she is able to really decenter herself and focus on the Birthing family and their experience in a way that's seamless and admirable. Ross is an absolute g*damn gem, and I don't think she'd mind the expletive there.

Ross is simply wonderful. As my postpartum doula after the birth of my second child, she made a stressful and exhausting period so much easier. Every time she came I was able to relax and rest: she gently helped me determine my priorities, listened to me, helped with food and chores and my older daughter, was a wizard at getting my baby to sleep, had lots of great advice and knowledge, and always reminded me to take care of myself as well as my baby. I so benefited from her care and totally recommend her.
