Rachel was a lifesaver. I think she has a real calling to this work. My birth went extremely smoothly, partly because of Rachel's steady hand and confidence, and I was so grateful to have her there—but she was even more amazing postpartum. Rachel taught us first-time parents pretty much everything we needed to know: how to pump breastmilk, how to give the baby a bath, how to soothe her. I really don't know what we would have done without Rachel's baby expertise. Several times she came over and saved us when the baby wouldn't stop screaming—I just handed her the baby and the baby calmed down instantly in Rachel's arms. I can honestly say that our first 8 weeks of parenthood were much, much easier because of Rachel. I can't say enough good things about her.

Rachel goes way above and beyond. I texted her several times with first-time mom terrors at 3AM, and she responded immediately to reassure me.

Rachel is always early, is easy to get in touch with, and is incredibly communicative. She is a requirement for us if we have a second baby.

We are so grateful that we worked with Rachel! We weren't sure about hiring a doula, but Rachel was very flexible with our needs and went above and beyond during labor/delivery and recovery. Post-delivery I had complications that weren't expected, but Rachel made arrangements to ensure that I was taken care of physically and emotionally beyond the birth. She was knowledgeable about the birthing process and pain management options and prioritized my goals and birth plans. I felt that she was my advocate and a reliable teammate. I highly recommend Rachel and would work with her again!

We hired Rachel for our June 2026 birth support and are so grateful that we did. I was pretty nervous about giving birth and knew I wanted a doula but was also nervous about having someone so involved in such an intimate part of our lives. We wanted to make sure we hired the right person, but our search had just 3 criteria: someone we jived with, who is non-judgmental about epidurals, and ideally, someone with a medical background. Surprisingly hard to find!

While our babies birth was quick and via c-section, Rachel was an advocate for me in the room to bring as much comfort as possible, ask the hospital staff appropriate questions to make sure we weren't rushing into it, support me through some intense moments, and took pressure off of my husband so he could focus on the baby. While in the OR, Rachel took so many photos which I really appreciate, and she made sure we were all settled in our recovery room.

If you are someone like me who wants a helping hand throughout this unknown process I would absolutely recommend working with Rachel! She truly loves working with families and supporting moms and babies in their new chapters :)

I hired Rachel as my birth doula on the morning of my birth as I ended up going into labor 3.5 weeks early. Even though we had only met the day before via Zoom, we connected right away in the delivery room, and she was my rock and provided much needed physical, mental and emotional support during birth. She has years of experience as a prior Labor & Delivery nurse which came in super handy as she was able to explain and prepare me even better than the nurse and midwife who are juggling multiple patients. Post birth, she checked in with me multiple times and even came to watch my baby when I needed help. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for birth or postpartum support!

We had a wonderful experience with Rachel as a postpartum doula - she was so helpful that we extended our 2 month contract for another month. We had a NICU baby who had some specific feeding protocols and Rachel was great with it. We knew kiddo was well cared for a night and we got so much more sleep on the nights she came. She also washed bottles/pump parts and helped with laundry with was a huge relief.

We had a great experience with Rachel. She was very attentive and patient with our 1 month old daughter, and we loved working with her. She watched our older daughter (3 yo)  one night who is a tough judge of character, but she absolutely adored her and asked for her to come back. She was also very reliable (always on time or early) and communicative about how our baby’s night went, and provided feedback when necessary on how to help make our baby more comfortable. Her background in nursing is a huge asset and made us feel at ease leaving our newborn in her care.

Rachel is truly wonderful. We hired Rachel to help us in the evenings a few times while we got our bearings after being in the hospital for 5 nights when our son was born. Rachel is knowledgeable, kind, caring, responsible, on-time...I could go on. She has spent multiple nights with our son in our home and I honestly wish she would just move in with us. When we met, I could immediately tell she was the right person to help us adjust to the first few weeks after bringing our son home. I would hire her again and again and again.
