Jennifer was very helpful in the early weeks of motherhood for a first-time mom. She provided much appreciated reassurance while helping to allow me more sleep! She volunteered various recommendations for breastfeeding and sleep conditioning. We had her for 8 weeks during the week. She provided nightly recaps and checked in after the nights she wasn't there. I would recommend for anyone wanting help in the early and exciting days of the newborn stage!

I met Jennifer through Mothers Care in CT. We initially set up a Zokn call to introduce ourselves and to learn about her. Jennifer is very experienced in the doula world. 

She cared for our newborn daughter over night. She was wonderful. We trusted her and she did a great job.

Jennifer has been instrumental for our family in the first few months of our son’s life. She has been taking care of our LO 5 nights a week, feeding and changing him so we didn’t have to be up. She worked with him to stretch his sleeping schedule and he is now sleeping 10-5 at 3 months of age! With her nurse background, she was also able to support us with our son’s health issues. Jennifer is caring, very respectful and always on time. We will keep working with her in the future if the occasion arise!

As first time parents we were apprehensive about caring for our newborn daughter. We also weren't sure how labor & delivery would go and we wanted extra support postpartum overnight for the first few weeks. After being discharged from the hospital Jennifer met us at our home to help us settle in. We immediately felt at ease with her and she showed us how to swaddle, burp, change a diaper and soothe our daughter to sleep. She also helped with breastfeeding in terms of latching, positions, designing a feeding schedule, using the pump, and how to handle clogged ducts and engorgement. Without this support we would have been totally lost since we left the hospital 24 hours after delivery and we did not have a lot of support. Over the subsequent few weeks Jennifer helped our family transition with emotional and physical support caring for our daughter at night so we could have maximal sleep and rest. Postpartum is a critical time and the first few weeks are filled with emotions, hormone crashes, and Jennifer was an amazing resource for us. She always responded to text messages and would frequently check-in to make us feel connected. She is very trustworthy and responsible. We highly recommend her to ANY family looking to have the best first few weeks with a smooth transition when caring for a newborn baby.

I had a very traumatic and complicated birth. My ability to care for myself postpartum, much less my newborn, was drastically diminished. As a newly postpartum first time mom, I was anxious to accept help. I feared for the safety of my baby in the hands of a stranger but I knew I needed help. I was matched with Jennifer for 3 nights and wow, thank God I was. If it weren't for her I don't think I would have made it. She immediately washed her hands when she came in without needing to be asked, and jumped right in! She was so gentle and loving toward the baby. She helped me learn to breastfeed and talked with me all through the night to help me process the trauma of my birth. She was kind, patient, and encouraging. She has such a calming and peaceful presence. I'm so grateful for my time with her and I will always remember the kindness she showed me and my baby.
