I hadn’t planned on working with a Doula until very late in my pregnancy. I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was also my first pregnancy which made me extra nervous in general on what to expect during labor. I was worried I was looking for a doula too late in the game.
Meeting Kasey was like letting go of a deep breath I didn't know I'd been holding. She completely put my mind at ease and walked me through each step of labor and post partum, answering all my questions in great detail - and without being annoyed by how many I had- hah!
My labor experience was intense and ended up in a last minute c section - it was scary and while I had the support of my incredible husband, Kasey helped guide us through each decision, keeping us calm, informed and working as an expert advocate. I would 10000% recommend working with her. She is a compassionate, kind, and expertly well informed Doula. She’s who you want in your corner during what is one of the most (if not the most) vulnerable and intense experiences a woman and family can go through. So incredibly thankful for her.
Thanks Kasey for all you do!

Kasey is such a comfortable person to have as your support person! We clicked pretty instantly, we chatted what seemed daily for almost 2 weeks leaving up to my due date. My kiddos came during week 38 so being over 40 was a drag but she kept me grounded and sane. As they days went on we both stayed in the same loop very easily. In person she was equally awesome! I texted her almost daily the for 3 days to say "todays's the day" and it wasnt but she was very kind to give a very pregnant mama hope and sooth me when it sadly wasnt the day lol I called around 6pm her to let her know I was headed to the hosital and on monitor the situation, was watched and finally admitted around 8pm. Called again to let her know to get some rest, but I'd need her within a few hours. Midnight came about, she was called upon to be by my side while my husband got some rest. She stopped out for some goodies, which I enjoyed after birth, on her way to me. We talked for wha seemed long and short periods of time. Every time I looked at the clock another 2 hour shad passed. We talked bout so many different things. Full support to the bathroom, into the labor tub and back to the bed at go time. Sadly I gave her an unintended shower while she helped me with my socks, she took it in great stride though, got me on the bed and help easy my back labor pains and we got this baby out in just a few pushes. Kasey was like having my own family there with me! I would absolutely recommend her ANYTIME you need doula support, even if you have a spouse like I did. She's there to listen, give direction, sound advice, a simple chat and most of all GREAT support in transition to a new life as a mama. Do not hesitate to reach out and feel accepted and confident in your choice with her by your side!

When preparing for the birth of my first child, I was really nervous and didn't know what to expect. Kasey served a fantastic resource and answered a plethora of my questions prior to delivery - and trust me - I had hundreds of questions! She provided a safe, non-judgmental space to have discussions and I greatly valued her feedback.
When I went into labor, I called Kasey in a panic because I wasn't sure what was happening. She helped me to stay calm and make a plan.
During labor, Kasey came to the hospital and jumped in to help the nurse and my husband with helping me into different labor positions. She helped to distract me from the pain and also kept me focused by giving me directions, counting, etc. When baby was finally born, she took photos for us to remember the moment.
Following delivery, Kasey checked in regularly to see how my baby and I were doing. A few weeks post-partum, she also came over to do an in-person check-in. After feeling super overwhelmed for those few weeks, I really appreciated having her come over, answer my questions (from the perspective of being a mom of four), and validate that I was on the right path with taking care of my daughter. It was the first time post-partum that I felt seen and listened to.
All of this is to say that - if you're anxious about the whole process of pregnancy, labor, and delivery and are thinking about hiring a doula - do it. Kasey was incredibly professional and compassionate, and is committed to serving as your advocate and making sure you feel as at ease and confident as possible during the whole process - NOT just during delivery, but before and after as well. It was really invaluable to be able to have a caring hand hold mine (both literally and figuratively) during such an exciting, but scary time.
