Me and my husband recently had our baby in early Sept 2024, and had hired a traditional chinese doula to take care of me during the 40 day confinement. However, we wanted to have Abby help us with the more modern and up-to-date learnings as well as sleep training. Abby was attentive and always asked how we were doing as well as if there was anything we could do to help. Her gentle and accepting method of instructing us helped induce confidence that what we were doing was right for our baby and if there were any uncertainty in our thoughts that we were free to reach out to her. There were some scheduling acrobats we had to do due to having our traditional doula and Abby was more than happy to accommodate and work with our schedule. Abby offers classes for sleep training, and at the end of ours she provided a sleep plan for our baby. The sleep plan was thorough and covered the ages for our baby up to 3+ years, so we didn't feel like it was lacking. It was clear and provided simple focuses for us. Thank you Abby!

I engaged Abbey for sleep consultant services after my 15 month old, who we had rocked / fed to sleep every need, started really struggling and having a hard time going to bed and 2 hour wake ups in the middle of the night. Abbey took such a gentle approach and understand my hesitancy to sleep train - I am very responsive to my son and didn't want to use cry it out methods. Abbey heard our issues and concerns, and put together a comprehensive plan for us that was tailored to our sons unique needs. When we started the process, I would text Abbey throughout. She gave me the support I needed to stick with the plan, even when my son was having a really hard time. I felt like I was giving him the support he needed while teaching him the skills to go to sleep. Abbey was so empathetic to how hard this can be! We would text throughout the evening and then she always checked in with me in the morning. Now 2 weeks later he is going to sleep on his own in his crib and sleeping 12 hours! He's so much more well rested and so happier, and I have so much less anxiety around bedtime. I'm so thankful for Abbeys support and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a gentle / attachment-centered approach to sleep training!

Our experience with Abby was wonderful and we are so thankful we engaged her in our birthing story.
The prenatal lead up meetings before birth were critical for us in feeling prepared. We really appreciated Abby's willingness to answer any questions we had and chase down any resources we needed along the way. Her excitement and investment to learning prenatal care processes and birth preparation really showed and helped us feel more comfortable with what was to come.
For the labor itself, Abby was instrumental in helping hands on (our preference) and by keeping us motivated, comfortable and educated through the whole process. Her constant communication, flexibility and commitment to being there when we needed her and being one call away throughout the days leading up were huge for support. Our labor was very long and more complicated than the typical birth and Abby was there when we needed her most, ready to tackle anything we needed as support.
For postpartum care she has also been such a great resource for the many questions that come up for first time parents. Sending us easy to digest resources, answering our many questions and giving us encouragement and validation as first time parents through the challenging complexities of raising a tiny human.
Not to mention her incredible personality, level of care and compassion and overall pleasure to be around, Abby was a Rockstar resource for our birth story.

I'll admit I was leary to hire a sleep coach at first, as I wasn't in love with the idea of sleep training or what I knew of it. Before I signed up to work with Abby, we messaged back and forth and she explained to me that she works with a science based approach and she'd be there along the way. I bit the bullet and signed up to work with Abby to hopefully help myself, my partner and my son get more quality sleep and make naps and night time sleep more restful and relaxing for all of us. As a first time parents, my partner and I didn't know what was normal for our 4 month old in regards to his sleep patterns. Almost every day he'd have false starts, was really dependent on his binky, needed to be rocked to sleep, and most days would wake up at 4 or 5am, and not go back to sleep in his crib and this didn't seem sustainable.
We set up a Zoom call with Abby and we sent over our sleep consultant intake form. I was anxious and still a bit hesitant but as soon as I met with Abby, most of my anxiety went away. She was kind, caring, gentle, a great listener and gave sound advice. She really heard what my partner and I were wanting and offered sustainable solutions. She came up with a sleep plan and we set a date to start. I was nervous and unsure if her sleep plan would work in real life, however I was pleasantly surprised that the small changes Abby suggested were really very successful with our son. The changes we made were not harsh, they were gentle and guided by love. Abby was there every step along the way. She was available for us and checked in via text throughout the first few days of implementing the sleep plan an we had another Zoom call to check in. Abby answered all of our questions with confidence and caring wisdom and I could really tell she had lots of experience with babies.
Overall, I'm very happy I decided to work with Abby, she was an amazing fit for my family and I'd highly recommend her to anyone. She really cares!

My husband and I had a positive labor and delivery experience thanks to Abby. She has a warm, calming presence and is incredibly resourceful about all things birth.
Abby was super organized in our prenatal meetings and came to each session with an agenda. Her agenda was really comprehensive and it helped us feel prepared with what to expect during labor, delivery, and post partum. Abby listened patiently to all our questions and concerns, and provided us with evidence-based information to help us make informed decisions about our birth plan. She also introduced us to pain management tactics like the TENS unit which helped so much when I was in early labor.
During labor, Abby was a great source of support. She helped me overcome my mental block and fear of pushing and also was actively involved in the pushing process when the nurse and midwife had to attend to other activities.
Thanks to Abby’s support, I had a positive and empowering birth experience. She went above and beyond, and I feel so grateful to have had her by my side. She is truly dedicated, caring, and wonderful to work with!

You often hear about labor and deliver doulas, but less often do you hear about a postpartum doula. As new parents, we found this to be exceptionally helpful while finding our daily rhythm as new parents. As a new mother, I found it to be the extra layer of support and care I needed to feel at peace amongst big change, while also physically healing from delivery.
Abby is nurturing in her approach as a doula, and a resourceful wealth of knowledge. She leans in with compassion, she stays curious, and truly advocates for momma and baby. Abby never pushes agenda, she provides helpful insight and leaves you feeling understood.
She is a treasure to have around and in your corner! You will find yourself parting with a new best friend as well.. ??
