When my husband and I first met Jen, we immediately knew we wanted to work with her as my doula. Right away, she made it clear that she was there to support me in my prepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum care while also enabling my husband with tools to support me. Over the last several months, she has been extremely helpful in responding to questions and also provided excellent resources that we were able to use throughout my pregnancy and labor. Before Jen, I was anxious about not knowing what to expect about having a baby. As a first time mom, it’s easy to get bogged down with all the information available online, etc. Jen was a constant rock for us, providing direct answers to our questions and empowering us with the “right” level of information. 

During the first few weeks of postpartum (following a pretty unexpected labor and delivery experience), I was dealing with baby blues and postpartum anxiety. During her postpartum visits, I had the chance to talk with Jen about my anxieties, and she made me feel heard and understood. More importantly, she always spoke to us with kindness and without a judging eye. My husband and I were so incredibly grateful to have Jen as our doula. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is interested in having a doula.
