My husband and I are so happy that Yurany supported us with the birth of our daughter! We sought out her services because I was hoping for an unmedicated birth, and we both felt so intimidated by childbirth as this was our first child. I ended up needing to be induced a little early for medical reasons that came up in pregnancy, which, initially, was such a disappointment for me. During pregnancy, Yurany was so comforting and talked through my feelings and the decisions I was making. Talking to Yurany made me feel more confident going into the induction, and her positively made me feel optimistic. During the birth, she was so upbeat and a really warm presence, and helped me with positions and create an ambiance for me to feel comfortable. She also had very good intuition on the progression of my labor, and encouraged me to trust cues from my body which was so cool to experience. All in all we would highly recommend Yurany!

Yurani es una fantástica doula ,mi experiencia con ella fue excelente, primeramente gracias a Dios por permitirme tener la compañía de ella, ella para mí es como mi segunda madre me apoyo en cada minuto de mi parto y sentí mucho aprecio por cada cosa que me decía en ese momento y mil respetos para ella ,se merece muchos éxitos en su vida por ser una persona con un corazón tan lindo, muchos éxitos yunari,??????mil respetos para ti ♥???

Yurany was an excellent support to me before and during labor. She encouraged me and stayed in regular contact while I waited for labor to begin. When plans changed and I went in for an induction at 41 weeks + 3 days, she supported me in my continued goal of laboring as naturally as possible without pain medication. Once active labor kicked in, things were very intense very quickly. When I was able to communicate what I needed, she acted quickly, and when I was not able to communicate, she knew exactly what to do anyway. She had many tools in her bag that were critical to help me manage the pain naturally, and she was very responsive and intuitive. With her help and her excellent collaboration with my husband and the labor nurses, I was able to have an incredibly empowering and beautiful birth experience! She also helped me out a few weeks after my baby was born when my husband went back to work, so that I could get some rest. Yurany brings a great balance of a calm, down-to-earth, steady presence, and a confident drive to do what needs to be done. I would recommend her to anyone!

When asked my preference of a doula, I wanted one who would be understanding, one who would teach, educate without making me feel uncomfortable, flexible and caring. I got Yurany! 
As a first time mom, it's either we research too much and become paranoid where we don't even know how to express our thoughts without being judged or laughed at, or because of anxiety we research too little. 
I researched a lot! I had many questions I wanted answers to so many questions and most times Google would make me worry. I got Yurnay in my second trimester and was she a blessing, she was always available when needed, she'd answer my calls and 'silly' questions, she'd video chat with me or make availablility when I just didn't have the energy to interact face to face. She helped me with most of the things I needed in my pregnancy such as my birthing plan, her explanations were very thorough and were broken down in ways to make me understand. No question was too "wrong" to ask. She helped with introducing birthing positions and ways for my husband to help me in labor, my husband and I adore her and I recommend her 10/10. 
Yurany, our little one is here and the way I was taught to advocate for myself helped with him coming here the way I planned on it to. We thank you. Thanks a million.

I had an amazing time with Yurany Zapata. We connected from the very start, but when I got to the hospital, I wasn't in the mood to have an extra person in the hospital room with us (I think it was my hormones ??). There was already my husband, me, the midwife, and the nurses. However, when Yurany arrived, she started giving me massages and helped my husband press my hips during the contractions, which provided significant pain relief for me. If I had asked her not to come, I would have regretted it for sure. Thank you, Yurany, you were awesome and the best person to be with me during the best moment of my life when I was welcoming my baby girl into this world.

My experience with her was so positive and not just work driven?? she helped me with the pushing and the contractions so well. It felt like more of a real interaction than a buisness transaction and that was very important to me, especially since she was my first doula. ????????????

My experience with Yurany was nothing but amazing . She was very punctual, attentive and hands on . She made me feel comfortable in and outside of the hospital and introduced me to so many different pain management coping methods until we found some that worked for me . I'd definitely recommend hiring her as your next doula 10/10 !!!!

Hola buenos días 

Mi Doula yurany Zapata mi experiencia con ella asido excelente me dio todo su apoyo durante mi parto y después del parto  me ayudó mucho a grandecida con ella  bendiciones para ella que siga  apoyando a muchas mamá muy buena doula sabe aser unos massage muy bueno??también que me ayudaron mucho . Mi experiencia con Yurany mi Doula fue magnífica, el día de hoy siento mucho agradecimiento por su asistencia porque fue de gran apoyo emocional y físico, no solo para si no también para mi esposo, somos papás primerizos y habían muchas cosas que realmente ni nos imaginamos como podrían haber sido, ella es una gran mujer, bastante profesional, empatica, amable y amorosa.

Amazing person and amazing doula! I gave birth to a healthy baby girl with the help of Yurany. She helped me through some really tough contractions, through my tiredness, and my tense ups during the labor process with lots of knowledge and love. She also explained the pros of laboring at home as long as possible as well and gave me some great tips through out my pregnancy.

Yurany is a wonderful doula! 

Our experience with her was very positive. From our first encounter, Yurany was kind, energetic, and knowledgeable which helped me feel more confident going into labor. 

During labor, she had prepared several activities to help me relax and prepare for active labor. Once labor got tough, she was right there supporting me  and my husband and helping me advocate for my needs with the hospital staff in both English and Spanish as she is bilingual.

We are very grateful to have been able to work with Yurany in welcoming our baby into this world and firmly believe that anyone seeking to work with Yurany will have a similarly great experience.
