You won’t regret making this financial decision, having Abigail as your doula is an asset, & will be a positive part of whatever birth story you have. 

My birth story was nothing like I planned. Abigail was there for me when my midwife and other doula didn’t show up for me like they promised. I had a c-section at the hospital. She helped by making sure I had everything I needed, helped relieve pressure from contractions, supported my husband when he was overwhelmed; guided him into better understanding of what the drs. and nurses were saying, it was peace of mind having her know the next steps that were happening and guiding me through them. Whether you are having a natural birth or c-section she will be the greatest decision for your family welcoming your little one. She is the best cheer leader and support system before, during, and after my birth. There is no one I would want more than her and my husband during the most sacred and precious moment of my life. Thank you so much for everything Abigail! Will definitely recommend you to everyone I know and hire you again in the future if God blesses my family with another child.

I was originally on the fence about getting a doula. I was planning on giving birth at a birthing center bc I was low risk. Well at 38 weeks my blood pressure climbed and I had to induce at the hospital. I labored for 4 days. It was agonizing but I am so so so glad I had my doula there to support me. My husband and I had read all the books and taken all the birth classes and we felt pretty confident but having the doula there just made me feel so much more comfortable and confident. I felt supported when I spoke up for myself and my preferences because I could talk to her about them before I had to talk to a nurse or doctor. Her experience and perspective as someone who has seen many different births and helped many different moms really made me feel like I was safe and protected that I otherwise would not have felt had I had to go to the hospital alone. Abigail in particular knew exactly what specific comforts to provide for each stage, both physical and emotional. She massaged and cheered me on and encouraged me in my decisions every step of the way. I am so glad I got a doula and I'm so grateful my doula was Abigail.
