Highly recommend choosing Sarah for post partum doula! I felt very supported by her and she was professional yet easy to talk to. She has the best baby care tips and is a fabulous cook.

Sarah was such a blessing to me! I am so grateful for her calming and caring presence during my pregnancy and labor. Leading up to my labor Sarah was so kind and thoughful and i felt comfortable sharing more personal things with her. She was always a source of encouragement when i needed it. When my first sign of labor was my water breaking (PROM) I had some anxiety that my contractions would not start up again - mirroring my previous birth. Sarah had some good suggestions of things to try to get my labor started and it worked! She arrived just in time for my contractions to become intense. My baby had been more on my right side which had been a slight concern for me. She had me try a few positions to labor in including a deep lunge which I think helped baby shift positions because my contractions shifted from my back to my front and labor went really quickly after. My entire labor was only two and a half hours! Sarah had tools with her that made a huge difference in my comfort level. She also timed my contractions and helped communicate with my midwife when I couldn't. After my baby was born she stayed to support me and my family until things quieted down. She and my husband were a great team and I couldn't have done it as smoothly without them. I still think back on the whole experience and just smile. It was everything I had dreamed of.

Sarah made such a huge difference in my postpartum period. My husband owns a business and could only stay home a week, so I really needed the support. She was extremely flexible with scheduling, which I appreciated very much since his schedule can change on a dime. She really optimized every moment of her shifts, even involving my high energy preschooler who wants to be in charge of everything. ??
One thing I appreciate about Sarah is that she'd ask what I wanted done, but if I wasn't sure how to answer she would just start doing things, based on what looked like it needed to be done. Also, when my son was bouncing off the walls and and needed attention, she would stop what she was doing and play with him without me even needing to ask.
She was very good natured about the very specific, borderline OCD, way I like certain things done, even when I couldn't exactly say why I wanted them done that way.
Also, we hired her for a meal prep shift and she busted out so many meals in 4 hours while I was at the park with the baby and my son that I still don't know how she did all that. She even did the dishes too, which I don't know how she had time for.
Sarah is always available during her shifts as a listening ear and offers condolences, support, and potential solutions without being pushy.
I think Sarah has a rare combination of assertiveness and flexibility that makes her very good at her work. She could definitely charge way more but wants to remain affordable so she way undercharges, which is amazing.
We were very pleased with Sarah and wish we could have hired her indefinitely. ??

Right from the beginning of our relationship, Sarah Poole stood out from the rest of the doulas we interviewed. Her experience gives her a fluency and confidence in the subject matter that put us at ease. We also valued that she was unbiased toward a birth method. Combine that with her professionalism, and packages that provide great value, Sarah Poole was the obvious choice.
At our appointments, we came away so excited and grateful that we had connected with her. It was easy and natural to be around her, she felt like someone we already knew. She provided detailed education that was evidenced based in a format that was easy to understand and retain. We took two birth classes (she recommended my favorite of the two) read a few books, and talked with a lot of people, but the things we learned from Sarah turned out to be really crucial in our birth experience.
During our birth experience, Sarah Poole was the difference between fear and peace. Her understanding of our wishes, and the birth process made her a trusted source of information that gave us confidence in our real time decisions. Her emotional support protected us against anything that might have been traumatic to face alone.
Sarah Poole is an exceptional person. She went above and beyond to sprinkle kind gestures all throughout our time together. Should we become pregnant again, we would want her to be our doula! Sarah Poole was an invaluable member of our birth team, and I highly recommend her for yours.

Sarah Poole is an amazing doula and any family is lucky to have her in their home. We felt like she was a Godsend! She is beyond caring and professional. She was our night doula for the first 7 weeks after our son was born. She was extremely helpful when it came to baby care and she was also amazing with helping around our house. It was a breath of fresh air to wake up to a tidy home. We appreciated her attention to detail with our baby and our home. I highly recommend her. If you're looking for a doula she is top-notch and will take incredibly good care of you and your baby.

Sarah was my doula for all of my 3 childbirths. I had 2 home births and 1 hospital birth. She was incredibly helpful and was very attentive to my needs. My first 2 births was uneventful, but my 3rd birth had some complication. I ended up having an emergency C-section, and my baby was transferred to Seattle Children's Hospital because she needed surgery. Since I myself just had surgery, I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days while my husband went with our baby to the other hospital. Let's just say that was really hard for me, but Sarah stayed with me and accompanied me at the hospital until I was discharged. Since I was advised not to operate a vehicle because I was taking strong pain medication, Sarah drove me all the way to Seattle so I could be with my baby and my husband. That was really nice of her to do. Sarah truly was a great doula!

I was honored to have Sarah as my doula for my 4th baby. She was very helpful and gave my husband and I exercises and things to do to have our baby. I was very grateful for how everything went. She went above and beyond and even took photos after our baby was born. I'm very thankful.
