Lauren made my birth and postpartum experience wonderful. She was there to support me with advice, expert knowledge, and especially pain relieving massages during contractions at the hospital. I was very nervous about the whole labor process and communicating my birth preferences to the nurses.

My first experience at a hospital was giving birth to my first born, so I was very relieved to know that Lauren was there to support me and guide me through the process. Lauren had given me information about the whole labor process and asked me about all of my birth plan preferences weeks before hand. This gave me time to really think about what I wanted for me and my baby and do my own research.

Lauren is an easy-going and open person. I love that about her. She is so easy to talk to and really makes you feel taken care of pre, post, and during labor. I would recommend Lauren to any of my friends and family that are expecting. She really is the most compassionate doula!

I am so happy with my choice to hire Lauren as our doula. I have always had a lot of anxiety around birth and had concerns about the pain and stress of the experience. Lauren and I met a few times prior to delivering, and we talked through anxieties I felt, she gave me a lot of good information with what to expect, and we came up with a birth plan I felt comfortable with. She was wonderful and supportive during delivery, and knowing she was going to be present at the birth took a lot of the pressure off of my partner and I. We were able to relax a bit more during my pregnancy knowing we would have a calm, knowledgable advocate during labor and delivery. In our post partum visit she helped me get used to the hang of breast feeding which really helped with my confidence. Overall I am very happy with my decision and would recommend hiring a doula to anyone!

Our doula, Lauren, was a godsend. She was fantastic, helped a ton with the birth plan, answering questions during early labor, and being there for the birth. She also has come for some postpartum visits to give us rest after birth and it has been a much needed break along with tasty homecooked dinners. This service was great and we would highly recommend to anyone seeking support during birth and after.

Lauren was such a perfect addition to our birth team! She was super helpful leading up to our birth when we went past our due date and supported us in labor prep, stretching ideas and other ways to naturally induce labor. We accomplished our dream, unmedicated birth in the hospital and Lauren was with us the whole way through. She provided physical, and emotional support and helped so much with comfort measures and changing positions when I got uncomfortable. She coached me while pushing and encouraged me when I didn't think I could continue. She was the perfect addition to our birth team and worked seamlessly along side my nurses, OB and my husband. Lauren is a wealth of knowledge and so passionate about the birth process and supporting growing families.

My husband and I loved working with Lauren. We felt an instant connection with her during our search for our doula. Her communication and dedication from the start was unparalleled. Lauren met us in our home, went to the birth center to do our “run through” and was so flexible the day of the birth. I felt supported when my due date passed and Lauren sent reassurance that our little one would make her way into the world. Her presence during the birth was amazing - she was there to remind me of my strength. Her presence provided comfort and support for my husband as well. During the birth the positive affirmations and support was amazing. My husband and I both felt supported and cared for during the birth. Lauren was in touch quickly after the birth to set up a postpartum visit tailored to my needs. We couldn’t have welcomed our sweet little babe into the world without her.

Lauren was great as our sibling doula! We have no family near by to help us, and as we were approaching the birth of our 2nd baby, just having the peace of mind knowing that Lauren was available any time I happened to go into labor was so huge. The best thing was receiving a sweet photo of my oldest smiling and eating cereal in the morning after Lauren had spent the night at our house with her. I was concerned that our daughter would be stressed out waking up without either of us there, but I could see that was totally not the case. After laboring all night, it was so important for me to not have any worry or anxiety about my daughter and to feel totally sure that she was in good hands. Very thankful!

Lauren Guarrasi was an absolute angel of a doula! She was always there to answer any question and help sift through all the information that comes in as a first time parent. And as the birth plan changed, she was extremely supportive mentally, emotionally, and physically. She helped me laugh through the pain, and made both me and my husband feel so relaxed and at peace during delivery. Lauren was not just my doula, but my friend and guide through this whole pregnancy and I would not have been able to do this without her!!!

Lauren Guarrasi is amazing! I love my birth story and everything went as I hoped it would and Lauren is to thank for a lot of it! She was an excellent support to not only myself but also to my husband and we felt more than equipped to handle anything the day threw at us knowing we had her on our team. She is so knowledgeable and made sure we were prepared ahead of time and even checked on us afterward- I’ve never felt so supported or prepared!

Had an amazing experience working with Lauren as my birth doula! She is truly compassionate, empathetic, and advocates for her clients' best interests. Her presence is so warm and gentle and, at my birth, not only was she a comforting presence but she also helped ensure my doctors were checking in on me in a timely manner. Anyone would be lucky to have Lauren as their doula!

A visiting angel! Lauren was a wonderful support postpartum. Part of what makes postpartum a little overwhelming is the lack of time to keep up on everyday essential tasks. Lauren stepped in and cleaned my house, did our dishes, helped care for me and my children, and cooked us delicious, nutritious, organic meals. It made a world of difference in my postpartum experience! She is a lovely soul who is accepting and easy to be around - which is so important when you’re feeling emotional and vulnerable after giving birth. She held space for me to share my birth story and brought compassion and empathy to such an emotional experience. She’s an angel!
