My experience as a husband and new father is nothing short of amazing. Not fully knowing how to operate as a support person during labor was a fear of mine. Shannon was not only helpful in guiding me, but was also interactive in the process. I was able to be very aware in moments of support and communication to nurses and midwives. Without Shannon it would have been difficult navigating this new process and I am grateful for it. I believe that any couple, especially husbands could benefit from her service, providing confidence and comfort in this intense situation.

Where do I begin! I am so thankful to have had Shannon Moore as my doula! As a first time mommy, I had lots of questions and didn't know where to begin. In fact, there were a lot of things that I didn't even know I should think or know about. Shannon walked me through the process from beginning to end. She was always available and sat down with my husband and I to understand how she could best support. She made me feel very comfortable and I never felt that my questions were silly or minute. She had lots of resources and even provided me with take home materials such as flash cards and labor relief tools. I had a 24hr labor and Shannon was there from the moment I called all the way up to the very end. Her support while in the delivery room was so intentional and tailored to what I needed. She talked me through the whole process and was super attentive. I can wholeheartedly say I could not have done it without her. I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting a doula and I definitely plan to have her help for my next children.

This undoubtedly empowered my partner and I to make informed decisions and feel prepared for the birth experience.
