I was nervous to welcome another person into my birth space, but the midwives I was working with informed me that it was required for first-time moms to have a Doula to ensure the best homebirth outcome. Rebecca was the first Doula that my husband and I interviewed and I immediately knew that she was the Doula we were going to work with. In our consultation, she provided all her resources and was very informative. With all the knowledge she had, she empowered us to be able to move forward and we hadn't "hired" her yet. In addition, her voice was soothing, we were able to laugh right off the bat, and I genuinely felt connected to her within minutes of our initial conversation. So we went forward with Rebecca as our Doula. Due to a particular complication, I had to transfer to a hospital setting and she was there through it whether in person or a text away (she even went to one of my appointments with me). During labor, she was present even though she had food poisoning and I didn't know until she had to tell me it got worse. I say this because her dedication/compassion toward me and my experience was evident. She had to leave but ensured that I had a backup and her backup had similar work ethics and knowledge to handle my complicated birth as well. When Rebecca was there, she always asked whether or not she can step into my space, had natural remedies to help (with nausea, for example), and gave my husband the tools he needed to help. I can honestly say that Rebecca is someone I can trust and I have so much respect for. If I get pregnant again, I'm definitely reaching out to her for that birth.

Hiring Rebecca as our postpartum doula was the best decision I made for our family. Her support helped my husband and me through a difficult transition and recovery after our home birth ended in c-section. She helped us heal with her nourishing snacks, loving energy and guidance. Her calm presence and knowledge helped us build a rhythm and routines to help our son thrive. I am so glad she has dedicated herself to this important work.

I decided to hire a birth doula for a few reasons. I was going through pregnancy after three miscarriages and struggled with anxiety which made it hard to be fully present in my pregnancy. Prenatal visits with Rebecca really helped connect me with my baby. Making my birth plan, preparing for postpartum, and just being able to talk to someone made it feel real to me. Rebecca is very professional and very knowledgeable. Any questions I had were met with educated answers. She has a great energy surrounding her and you can truly tell she loves what she does. While pregnant herself, she was fully present with me at every visit and while I was in labor. My birth didn't go nearly how I thought it would, but because I had such a great support system, I was able to trust my instincts and change the plan when I needed to. Thanks to Rebecca's help putting together my birth plan, my belly birth was gentle and my wants were met by the doctors and nurses. I highly recommend Rebecca for birth and postpartum support.

My husband and I had the pleasure of welcoming Rebecca into our home and we had an amazing experience. I was about 6 weeks post partum with my son and we both felt we were in over our heads. Rebecca came in and assisted us in so many ways. She cooked us amazing food, helped with housekeeping, answered many questions, and helped me with my son. Overall, I felt supported during a difficult time and felt Rebecca truly cared about me and my family. I would HIGHLY recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a dedicated doula.

My midwife recommended Rebecca after I told her I was looking for someone who had good energy and was willing to help with my older children. At my consult with Rebecca, I immediately picked up on her soft energy and passion for birth and supporting women. I knew she would be the right fit! I went into labor on my due date and let Rebecca know I was ready for her to come over. She arrived promptly and was so supportive and attentive to my older children. It was very relieving to have her there with my kids so I could focus on the labor. She made sure they were as involved as they wanted to be but also made sure they were respectful of my birthing space. After I gave birth, she jumped right in to help with chores, kids, and cleanup. A couple of days later, Rebecca dropped off some treats to us since my family had been sick over the weekend. I felt truly spoiled to have homemade goodies like broth and homemade vitamin c gummies dropped of to us. At my postpartum visit, we enjoyed a meal together and talked for hours about life, birth, and family dynamics. I really felt like Rebecca went above and beyond for myself and my family. I felt so supported and cared for and like she truly put her heart and soul into the care and service she provided for my family.
