Being first time parents w/o family in the area, we really wanted to work with someone we could trust and who would teach us how to care for our child. In addition, I suffered from a stoke 2 years before the birth of our daughter so I was worried about my mental and physical recovery so having an experienced expert was important. All of this was compounded when our baby arrived 9 weeks early and came home after 1 month in the NICU doing well but super small and needing extra care and attention. Nicole was so dedicated and her remarkable attention to detail immediately gave us comfort in letting someone else care for our child and help us navigate the transition from NICU to home life. Nicole shared her expertise and experience w/ us and was not just understanding but very supportive of specific items we asked her to manage – like keeping our baby upright due to reflux issues. She really felt like someone who was on our team, not just someone who's getting paid to do a job. She was truly invested in the health and wellness of our daughter, myself, and our family. Nicole’s kindness and advocacy for us even beyond the time we worked with her was remarkable. We had a less than ideal experience w/ another less-experienced doula and Nicole was incredibly validating and supportive and continued to answer questions well after she finished her contract. If you're on the fence, I would say the investment is 100% worth it - nothing is more important than your health and well-being! Pregnancy, birth, and 4th trimester never goes as planned and having someone in your corner to help you navigate and support you is so critical. The comfort that comes from working with an experienced doula (and mom!) is hard to replicate even if other caregivers come with ratings and recommendations.

I recently gave birth to my second child. Nicole provided loving and kind support for my family during the first two months of her life. Nicole was extremely trustworthy and supportive in every task I asked her to help us with, which allowed me the greatest gift of rest. Because I was well rested, I could better show up as a loving parent for my children. 10/10, would recommend!!

Nicole is such a life saver. Extremely punctual, respectful, and so kind, she's made our first months with the baby so much better. She always left our house better than she found it... and was a wonderful advisor to us on all sorts of newborn-related questions. We love you, Nicole! Thanks so much for all you did for us and baby Kate.

Nicole was warm and kind and took great care of our little one during the one night she worked with our family. She tended to my nursing needs and comforts as well. Would definitely recommend Nicole.

Nicole was so instrumental when our little one was an infant. From implementing good sleep habits, feeding and tending to all his and my overnight care needs. She was professional but also, brought her nurturing side which we loved. Our 2nd is now 14 months and has sleeping through the night since he was 4 months. Naps and overnight sleep have not been an issue ever since she stopped caring for our family. She's abe to answer your questions and provides wonderful suggestions too! We highly recommend her!

Nicole was an absolute lifesaver for our family. Our 2nd child was intensely colicky, cried all day, and rarely slept. I also had severe post-partum anxiety, was having multiple panic attacks a day, and while desperately in need of rest, couldn't relax enough to ever sleep. Enter Nicole. The moment she entered our home I felt more at peace. I knew my son was completely safe in her care, and that his crying would not be viewed as a burden by her. She is responsible, caring, reliable, respectful, and empathetic. We wouldn't have survived without her!!!

Nicole Lang was a joy to work with. She is a unique combination of highly professional, highly reliable, and highly trustworthy. She arrived on time, every time, and communicated with us clearly and early whenever there was an issue. She took safety very seriously and quickly adapted to our needs and our preferences for a smooth transition with a new infant.
In our case she quickly adapted to my wife's needs by quietly waking her when it was time for a feeding, and preparing everything to minimize the disruption to my wife's sleep and avoid disturbing mine.
She is also knowledgeable and was able to help us adapt and transition as our infant grew. To top it off she is easy to talk to and relax while having her in your house. We highly recommend her services for any family seeking a newborn care specialist.
