Jani was great as our post partum night doula. She is a natural care giver and we felt confident that our baby was was safe and happy spending time with her. She was also warm and kind towards us and keen to answer any questions we had as first time parents. She even made sure our dog didn't feel jealous!

We were so fortunate to have Jani as both our birth and night Doula for the first six weeks of our daughter’s life. With Jani’s help, our stress levels were reduced during those fraught first weeks, allowing my wife and I to truly enjoy the newborn stage. Jani is remarkable! She is patient, supportive, and compassionate. Each night when she arrived, we would debrief on what’s happened since her last visit. Jani provided gentle guidance and answered all our questions. It turned out that we had less to worry about than we thought! It was such a relief to receive tailored, expert advice every few nights. We really don’t know what we would have done without Jani!

Jani is also fantastic with dogs and cats! We have an anxious adopted dog that barks at visitors. Jani patiently approached our dog and by the end of the 6 weeks she had won him over! The cats loved her by the end too.

But most importantly Jani was great with our daughter. She easily soothed our baby, and passed on any successful techniques to us in the morning. Jani kept detailed notes on feeding and diaper change times, so we could easily pick up when she left. Jani was also our baby’s biggest fan! Excitedly telling us all the cute things the baby did over night. 

We can’t recommend Jani enough!

Jani was a great support person to have at my daughter's birth. As a first time mom, I appreciated Jani walking us through the process and what to expect prior to labor, and all the positions she was able to help me get into during labor. She is very outgoing and friendly and got along great with all the nurses at the hospital too, it felt like one big team for the birth! When things weren't going as expected, she was kind and supportive and helped me process and move forward. I would definitely recommend Jani as a doula!

Outstanding hire Jani immediately. From the interview to the last overnight with us it was a fantastic experience. Super accommodating postpartum doula offered and originally planned to spend the first night in the Hospital with us to help recovery but pivoted to meet us at our house. Provided much needed help in early latching and helped me get plenty of skin on skin contact time. Stayed overnight and helped us get our toddler ready for school the next day. Hire this talent!

Jani was an absolute godsend. She came in during a time when I needed support the most, and I couldn't have asked for better help. Her communication was excellent, and her knowledge of childcare was evident from the start. I never second-guessed her capabilities, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my newborn in her care. Our experience with Jani as our night doula was truly amazing and made a world of difference for our family.

From the very beginning, Jani was just what we needed. The first few weeks had been a struggle with breastfeeding and the guilt of our little one losing weight. When she arrived, she offered emotional support alongside practical suggestions that really helped put us at ease.

In the weeks that followed, Jani’s arrival was always comforting for us (including our dog Gus who absolutely adored her!). Each evening, we would go over our plan to figure out times for feeds and when to wake me up to maintain my pumping schedule. She took care of washing bottle and prepping for my pumping as well, so I could tack on some extra zzzs. Most importantly, she was always there to address any questions and share helpful tips, making us feel more confident as new parents. 

I can’t emphasize enough how nice it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your little one. Having Jani there allowed us the opportunity to spend quality time together as a couple and finally catch up on some much-needed sleep. 

If you’re looking for a night doula, we would 100% recommend Jani!

Jani is an amazing human being! I couldn't be happier with my experience working with her as my doula. She is the sweetest and happiest person, filled with passion that radiates through all she does. What a blessing to be around her! My entire family was made to feel comfortable, prepared and supported. All my questions were knowledgeably answered and worries soothed with thorough labor preparation. I always felt my birth plan was validated and supported fully. She was there to be by my side and I trusted her to help in ways I needed and wanted during this most special experience of birthing. Her tool belt is filled with anything you could ask for, I felt spoiled with all the options she had available to help manage my pain, support me emotionally and to make me comfortable in ways that were meaningful to me. I highly recommend Jani, if I have more children, she will be my doula, I wouldn't want anyone else!

Jani was a tremendous support to my husband and I throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period of our first child. Jani had awesome attention to detail and the time spent discussing our birth plan helped us visualize and be mentally prepared for the delivery room. We felt so listened to and when labor came we felt safe and supported with Jani in the room. Our overwhelmingly positive experience was a result of Jani's encouragement. In my husband's words 'she crushed it!'

We are SO happy we chose to work with Jani. Her amazing energy was clear from the get go. She was a great communicator, so warm, grounded, and got to the hospital in record time to be there for my birth. Having her in the room and with us in preparation really made all the difference.
