All services and packages are offered on a sliding scale fee model, meaning that families are welcome to select a price within the given range that reflects their needs and what they feel they can financially contribute. As a commitment to my values that encourage equitable wealth redistribution, I trust families I work with to honestly evaluate what they are able to pay for these services, rather than what they believe my work is valued to cost. This is founded on a basis of trust throughout the container of our relationship building, and I welcome all families to contribute to this agreement of community care where those who are able to pay the full true price of these offerings are sustaining those who may not be able to receive this level of care elsewhere. Please refer to The Green Bottle model by Alexis J. Cunningfolk to reflect on where you might fall on this sliding scale.

We are super grateful for the support Julie provided during the birth of our child. Her exceptional communication skills stood out from the very beginning. Even before our screening interview, her website gave us a clear understanding of how she operated and what she offered (we found her through a doula matching site, but then went to her website for more info). During the interview, Julie was warm, approachable, and incredibly informative about her role as a doula. Throughout the prenatal meetings, she was in tune with what Mia needed and remained transparent and consistent in her communication, always keeping us informed about her availability and any back-up plans (which we thankfully didn’t need!).
On the day of delivery, Julie was absolutely phenomenal. She met us at our home right when things started to rock and roll. She traveled with us to the hospital and stayed by our side the entire time, offering constant support and reassurance. Julie worked hard to transform our hospital room into a comfortable and inviting space, which made things a lot calmer. As labor progressed, her expertise and encouragement were invaluable; she was right there on the front lines, guiding us every step of the way and providing hands-on support when it was finally time to push. Her presence and professionalism made all the difference!
We can't recommend Julie enough. She was everything we were looking for in a doula and more. I’m writing this with baby Ambrose right beside me and if he could talk, he’d say thank you too! Thank you, Julie!
Love,
Matt, Mia, and Ambrose
