All services and packages are offered on a sliding scale fee model, meaning that families are welcome to select a price within the given range that reflects their needs and what they feel they can financially contribute. As a commitment to my values that encourage equitable wealth redistribution, I trust families I work with to honestly evaluate what they are able to pay for these services, rather than what they believe my work is valued to cost. This is founded on a basis of trust throughout the container of our relationship building, and I welcome all families to contribute to this agreement of community care where those who are able to pay the full true price of these offerings are sustaining those who may not be able to receive this level of care elsewhere. Please refer to The Green Bottle model by Alexis J. Cunningfolk to reflect on where you might fall on this sliding scale.

I consider myself so blessed to have Julie as my doula??The minute i met julie, i instantly connected with her energy. I knew right away that she will make my birthing experience a wonderful exp which became absolutely true. Her calm positive and empathetic aura has been the cornerstone of my quick unique birthing story! Having her beside me and her soothing voice helped me tremendously in navigating my unmedicated birth. Additionally, she reported my labor progress to my family abroad which was so nice and went above and beyond to work with me on her fees so that I can afford her. She was my true strength during and after birth. She is doing such amazing work to help the community of mama’s bring life into our world?? stay blessed sister!

We had the most incredible privilege of having Julie Morel as our doula for our entire birth experience - inclusive of meeting and preparing before birth, during birth, and postpartum visits. We could not be more grateful for their presence. From the very beginning, they demonstrated their extensive knowledge and experience and provided us with invaluable information instantly putting us at ease. Their demeanor was wonderfully reassuring (especially during labor and delivery) and demonstrated how fantastic of a listener they are - always attentive to our needs and concerns, no detail was missed.
Throughout every step of the hospital process, Julie was there to advocate for us, ensuring that our preferences were respected and understood. Their support made the delivery environment a much more comfortable place, especially considering our general dislike of hospitals. They even brought in flameless candles, soft lighting and mantra cards to make the room as cozy as possible, which meant the world to me. With the frequent rotation of hospital staff, having Julie by our side was incredibly calming and provided ease of continuity that we desperately needed. They were the best partner for my husband and not only supported me but him as well which really helped me solely focus on myself and a healthy delivery.
Beyond the birth itself, her postpartum care was essential for my recovery. Julie took the time to check in with us as family post birth, and focused on self-care for me including making us postpartum snacks, drawing baths and wonderful massage. Julie truly felt like a part of our family by the end of the journey and we can’t imagine going through it without them. Their dedication and compassion made all the difference and we could not recommend them more for anyone expecting a little one on the way.

Julie started with us the very first night we came home from the hospital with our son. After that, we did a combination of night and day shifts a few times per week. As a new mom, I was nervous for our first night at home and Julie's presence was instantly calming. She was so sweet and patient with our son and incredibly supportive of me and my husband and the decisions we made.
Julie is reliable, professional, and excellent with babies and first-time parents like us. She went above and beyond - always offering to help however she can, even with chores around the house or errands while the baby slept.
I really feel that Julie helped my husband and I gain more confidence being first-time parents. She supported our decisions, encouraged us through difficult phases, and reminded us that we were doing a great job. I would highly recommender her!

We are super grateful for the support Julie provided during the birth of our child. Her exceptional communication skills stood out from the very beginning. Even before our screening interview, her website gave us a clear understanding of how she operated and what she offered (we found her through a doula matching site, but then went to her website for more info). During the interview, Julie was warm, approachable, and incredibly informative about her role as a doula. Throughout the prenatal meetings, she was in tune with what Mia needed and remained transparent and consistent in her communication, always keeping us informed about her availability and any back-up plans (which we thankfully didn’t need!).
On the day of delivery, Julie was absolutely phenomenal. She met us at our home right when things started to rock and roll. She traveled with us to the hospital and stayed by our side the entire time, offering constant support and reassurance. Julie worked hard to transform our hospital room into a comfortable and inviting space, which made things a lot calmer. As labor progressed, her expertise and encouragement were invaluable; she was right there on the front lines, guiding us every step of the way and providing hands-on support when it was finally time to push. Her presence and professionalism made all the difference!
We can't recommend Julie enough. She was everything we were looking for in a doula and more. I’m writing this with baby Ambrose right beside me and if he could talk, he’d say thank you too! Thank you, Julie!
Love,
Matt, Mia, and Ambrose
