I founded a donation based system called Izel's Closet in honor of a pregnancy I myself lost. This "closet" is for anyone in need of prenatal, birth, postpartum, and newborn supplies. I also provided reduced rate or even free services to clients who are in need. I wish to help every woman who is experiencing a DV situation, financial hardship, or lack of support in their pregnancy. Please reach out to me if you are in need and I am happy to help you obtain the resources you need. Everyone deserves a doula. I am a safe and non judgmental place to receive care. If you are experiencing pregnancy loss, still birth, or a recent abortion please reach out as well. I am happy to be your doula as you work through this unimaginable time. Note: I am currently in school to be able to provide sleep consultant guidance as well as midwifery care in the coming years!

Emily helped us out with newborn nighttime care after we had our first child. Her help was absolutely instrumental in helping us adjust to the crazy time and we really could not have had more capable, considerate and kind assistance. She is caring, approachable and professional.

Communication is one of Emily's strongest qualities. She was always really clear with any potential scheduling issues and quickly responded whenever we had to make last minute adjustments. Whenever we had questions during the day, she also responded very promptly and clearly. We also really appreciated the notes that she made about our child's behavior overnight - such as notes about feeding, diapering etc...

Emily also went above and beyond in terms of helping out. She offered to help pick some things up during the day when there was a period of time when I was on my own and also offered a ton of tangible help/advice with the process of finding a nanny afterwards. She is clearly very considerate and thoughtful.

Emily is everything that we needed for nighttime care for our newborn. She is punctual, easy to communicate and has a wealth of knowledge/experience that we really benefited from. We really could not have had more capable help with our newborn.

Emily came into my life as a new doula seeking mentorship as she began finding her place within the birthwork community, but I don't know who mentored who more! She is constantly putting in the work to further her education and broaden her skillset and knowledge to provide the absolute best support for the families she supports and for her community. Her calm, loving, confident presence can put everyone in a room at ease. I have trusted her with my own clients when I needed backup, enthusiastically referred her to folks looking for support, and have only heard amazing feedback about her care.

She has been such a loving foundation of support and light for me since I have known her and I cannot reccomend her enough to families seeking support for their births or postpartum period.

We hired Emily as our doula for our second birth and being new to the state of Washington! I very much enjoyed that she talked to me like a real person and did not feel like it was overly professional or intense. She was relaxed and made me feel very relaxed as well! Emily was very kind and soothing during labor. She did whatever the situation called for. She was a strong person to have when I needed reasurane and guidance, but also able to laugh with me and support me with all of my decisions. When a technique she was using felt too intense or didn't feel right, I felt safe and comfortable telling her to stop or to shift her positioning. She had great suggestions during difficult times of labor, even if I didnt take all of them! If we had more children, I would hire Emily again!

I'll begin by saying that Emily is my daughters first best friend :) She has been so great with my little one right from when she was a month old. As a FTM I learnt a lot about childcare from her. Her overnight support helped me rest and recover and I was able to resume work worry-free with Emily having me support during the day..and I am forever grateful! She's super helpful and so speedy with all the help! And lastly I made a new friend :) We love you Emmy <3

Emily is an incredibly loving and nurturing person. She is communicative and reliable; her ability to anticipate needs and take action has been a game changer for us. It can be intimidating inviting someone into a household and very personal aspects of life, Emily fits in so naturally and made us instantly feel comfortable. We are so grateful for everything she's done for us and we consider her a part of our family.
