Mirian was essential throughout our pregnancy, from the beginning until after our baby's arrival. She provided us with the information and knowledge we needed as first-time parents, and when my labor started, she supported me until the very end. Her presence during labor and delivery gave me the comfort I needed and made me feel safe and confident as I went through the process of welcoming our baby girl. I can only be thankful for all she did for us, and I am very grateful to have chosen her as our doula

Mirian was absolutely fantastic as my doula! From the prenatal classes to the big day, she was always incredibly loving and supportive. Her guidance and support made me feel so prepared for the birth, and she was always there to answer my questions and offer invaluable advice. I highly recommend her and I'm so grateful that I chose her to be my doula.

Having Mirian as my doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. Her presence throughout my journey and especially during the birth was incredibly important, making me feel secure every step of the way.

Mirian made me feel truly supported and constantly reminded me of my strength during labor. Her calming presence kept me focused on my goals and the decisions we had made prior to the birth.

The classes she provided were extremely informative and rich in detail. What I appreciated the most was how Mirian respected my pace in absorbing each piece of information. Every mother is different and has her own unique process, and Mirian understood this perfectly. She provided the instructions and tools I needed at just the right time.

I highly recommend Mirian to anyone seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive doula. She made a world of difference in my birth experience.

Thanks again for everything, Mirian! ????????

Mirian was such a blessing to have at our birth. From the moment we connected on zoom my husband and I appreciated her calm demeanour, knowledge and experience. I really liked her informative sessions and encouragement throughout our pregnancy. Mirian helped us labour at home for hours, and we went to the hospital at 3cm. (This was my first baby and a long labour). I really appreciated her keeping me focused on my birth plan. She provided pain relief throughout all stages of labour. This varied from using the TENS machine, massage, applying pressure and more. Her help allowed me to follow through with my dream of a natural birth. I won't pretend like it was easy, but it was worth it. Her calm presence and demeanour made its mark not only on us, but the hospital staff as well. She was also able to take photos for us which helped provide me with a great and different perspective of the birth! . I know she played a massive role in the success of our delivery. I was in a lot of pain and there was a war inside my mind - but she kept me focused on the end goal!! ! I can't thank her or recommend her enough. My husband and I hope to have her again if/when we are once again blessed and have another baby!

Miriam was with me at a magical moment in my life, which was childbirth and breastfeeding. On the day of birth she supported me, she reminded me that I was capable, that I was close. She gave me a strong mother, always telling me about what was happening around me. Her presence was essential. My husband and I really liked it! and breastfeeding was no different. I always tell her that if it weren't for her, it wouldn't be possible. I was instructed patiently and kindly through all the small steps and in the end I succeeded. Happy breastfeeding!!! I was lucky to have Miriam with me! I always remembered her

I reached out to Miriam when my baby started rejecting the breast in place of formula when he was 3 months old. We used to use pacifiers and a little top up formula in a bottle. He started preferring the bottle due to the higher flow and I was willing to continue breastfeeding. Miriam gave all support, attention, knowledge and courage to start and keep on persisting in my decision to continue breastfeeding and we removed pacifier, decreased formula amount very gradually while working on increasing my milk supply (yes its possible lol) and now my baby is 14months old, I still happily breastfeeding him. Miriam assisted me with starting solids as well, I did a mix of BLW and feeding baby with spoon (it was my choice). I always tell her that she was a great support, she was always there answering my questions and sharing knowledge and information to not let me give up. I am grateful for your life and by God's grace it all went well.

I'm very grateful for all the attention, learning and care Miriam has given me since I hired her as my doula. Miriam has been with me since the beginning of my pregnancy, giving me tips on how the BC health system works, teaching me about childbirth and the postpartum period, and actively supporting me in the most important moment of my life.

I was introduced to Miriam as a replacement option for my primary Doula, as she was going on vacation. I confess that my first thought was a strong fear about what delivery day would probably be like. But Miriam created a welcoming and caring approach that made me super comfortable and confident when my little Oliver was born. She was always very attentive and always following up on every little pain or discomfort I had. On the day of delivery, she was essential in minimizing the pain of contractions and strengthened me to achieve good dilation progress. However, unfortunately, due to my baby's heartbeat, I had to resort to a C-section. Postpartum, she was also very careful and very precise in helping with breastfeeding. I had a somewhat turbulent start to breastfeeding, mainly because my baby lost a lot of weight at the beginning, but we managed to recover the lost percentage and to this day Oliver breastfeeds exclusively.

My experience with Mirian was amazing . She was kind, knowledgeable, and extremely organized. I went to prenatal classes but found it redundant as there wasn't anything that I hadn't already learned from Mirian in those classes. When I went into early labor she was there to give me calm guidance. At the hospital she not only helped me with my pain relief but she helped my husband to feel as though he was doing a good job when he was not able to do much to help me. I ended up having an absolutely beautiful birth. Mirian fed me drinks of water, she turned my music on for me, and she reminded me of things in my birth plan which contributed to me taking control of my experience. Mirian has three kids of which she had three different experiences herself. I felt very supported in my decision to try for a natural birth and very supported in my decision in the moment to get an epidural. The epidural took all my pain away and much of my birth was me just laying in a bed listening to my music. When it came time to push after 5 hours of the most calm labor, it was only pressure and not pain. She empowered me to make my own decisions and to take control of my birth. It ended up being such an easy birth that by the end of it I said I could do it all again tomorrow. Unbelievable! It IS possible ladies! She supported me through the entire birth, she took pictures at my request, and when she was not needed she stayed quietly in the background in order to preserve experience for my husband and I. I can't imagine how my birth would've went without her. She was such a positive force and to this day remains a good friend. Another thing I loved about Mirians services is that she did more visits than most doulas with 3 prenatal and 2 postpartum. I lots of support postpartum and did not need the 2nd visit right away so she suggested that she come at 6 months to help me with baby's transition to solid foods. I recommend her to anyone seeking a doula. She is the best of the best
