I had the extreme pleasure and good fortune of meeting Skyler and having her by my side as my doula for my first birth. I knew I wanted a doula for the additional support, empathy and advocate during my labor and delivery process. Skyler was a natural support person at the bedside, with an incredibly calm demeanor and invaluable source of knowledge. Prior to giving birth, she took a lot of time to get to know me, my pregnancy journey and my goals for labor and delivery. She was very thoughtful and provided me with so many helpful resources, from educational podcast references, to stretches and positions to help prepare for labor. She was easily reachable and available for questions. During labor and delivery, she offered very useful tips and positions to help speed up the process, and provided calming stress balls, aromatherapy, and a comforting hand when needed. Her presence was an additional relaxant throughout the process and after delivery, provided a very helpful post-partum home visit where she was able to help answer a lot of questions for first-time parents and offer a mental check in for me. I'm very lucky to have gotten to work with her and highly recommend her for any expectant mom!

Where do I begin? Skyler pretty much became part of our family now. She is just absolutely incredible at what she does and was the perfect postpartum doula. From listening to me cry through the Baby Blues to making sure I have enough water and eat lunch, Skyler always knew exactly what my family and I needed in the moment. She is extremely empathetic and has some kind of a sixth sense which helped her always do and say the right thing. The way she handled my toddler boys and my newborn baby girl with so much grace and patience was inspiring. Skyler is extremely organized, clean, an amazing cook and creative with looking after the older kids. I feel fortunate to have met her and create a bond that we now share. You cannot go wrong with hiring Skyler and I would even say, you absolutely need her to survive the postpartum period.

Skyler my doula and close friend is a literal angel. Throughout my first pregnancy, which had its share of unexpected twists and turns, she was my rock. Her calming presence, gentle touch, and reassuring words were always so comforting. She provided support and became a cherished friend to me and my partner sharing in both our joys and fears. Thanks to her, I felt empowered, strong, and capable of facing whatever came our way. I will forever treasure the role she played in bringing my precious baby into this world.
