We hired Raquel as our Birth Doula about 3 weeks before our due date, a bit later than usual, but it was a great choice. She is very organized, systematic in her approach, clear in what services she provides and their prices, but above all, very knowledgeable and empathetic, and always very attentive to the mother-to-be's needs. We highly recommend her, especially if you like somebody who is both very structured and very caring.

Raquel was wonderful! We were very nervous first time parents, and Raquel soothed our nerves providing helpful information to prepare us for birth. She was an essential member of my care team, and allowed my husband to get some much needed rest after more than 24 hours of labor. She calmed down the tension and made the hospital room much more comfortable for us, and was especially compassionate helping me get into different positions, speaking kindly and with encouragement. She stayed with us in hospital longer than her contract stated she needed to when my birth stalled and lasted many hours longer than expected. She also provided a replacement doula when she needed to leave to ensure we were supported when our daughter arrived. She visited us postpartum, and answered all our questions and helped us navigate life a fragile newborn. I was on the fence about hiring a doula, but absolutely would recommend this for anyone, and Raquel is the cheerleader for the soul I didnt even know I needed.

Raquel is unbelievable! I couldn't have dreamt up a better Doula if I tried. She helped me with my first time birthing experience. First, providing detailed worksheets and resources, helping to create a birth plan, and doing virtual meetings to talk about any questions I had. I felt informed and confident going into my birth and knowing Raquel would be there gave me peace of mind. 

While my brith did not go at all as I had planned, Raquel created a safe, warm, calm environment for me and my husband. Without her, I beleive this would have been a very scary, alarming experience, but with Raquel by me and my husband's side it was the most beautiful moment of my life. 

She made sure I was comfortable the entire time, facilitating my breath and supporting me with massage, breathwork, and aroma therapy through my contractions. She knew what my needs were before I even realized, making sure I was comfrotable, fed, and hydrated. She was there to explain what was happening when my baby's heart rate dropped and there was a rush of people in the room. I felt so safe and at ease because she was with me. She held my hand through the epidural and even stayed with me to make sure I was settled in the postpartum care room with my baby. 

I can't express how grateful I am for my experience with Raquel. Whether you are looking for postpartum care or birthing support, Raquel is the one! She is outstanding in her professionalism, knowledge, and experience being a Doula.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Raquel. As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed and unsure of so many things, but having Raquel as our postpartum doula truly made a difference. She’s very knowledgeable and was so helpful in answering any questions and providing guidance on how to do certain things. She was able to share many useful tips and resources as well. I would definitely recommend her services to everyone!

After giving birth to my daughter my husband and I were pretty lost and exhausted and decided to look for a post partum doula for some extra help.

Raquel was very attentive from the start. She was very personable and organized in our initial virtual introduction.

When she arrived at our home she had a calm and warm presence.

She made my rest and recovery a priority and took over baby duties so I could sleep or do anything I needed.

She was also helpful in coaching breastfeeding, pumping, and teaching anything baby - baths, swaddling, burping.

If you are looking for some extra support in those post partum days Raquel is great choice!

As the owner of All Things Babies LLC, I want to take a moment to address a concerning testimonial currently visible on this page.

Brooke signed a birth support contract and received services that included a full prenatal session, educational materials, and ongoing communication — all delivered as outlined. After receiving these, she inquired about postpartum services and was informed that neither I nor my team had availability. A birth contract does not guarantee postpartum availability. These are two separate service offerings, a fact made clear throughout the process.

Unfortunately, Brooke chose to terminate her birth agreement prematurely and has since published false and defamatory claims that misrepresent the truth. I have extensive documentation, communication records, and signed agreements confirming my adherence to professional and ethical standards.

For over a decade, I have supported families through birth and postpartum with care, respect, and integrity. If you’re considering working with me and have questions or concerns, I’m happy to connect personally and share verified reviews and references.

Raquel is currently under investigation for fraud after she took $1900 from me and failed to provide any birthing services outside of a prenatal consultation, refusing to refund, and choosing to go unresponsive. There is now a BBB, FTC, and criminal investigation taking place into her business operations.

Raquel supported our family during the chaotic first few weeks of our daughter’s life. We were inexperienced with newborns and she patiently showed us how to swaddle and burp, and helped me navigate breastfeeding. As the weeks went on, she provided guidance and support each time something came up, from a stubborn diaper rash to starting to pump. When breastfeeding suddenly became difficult again, she helped baby and I figure out different positions and relaxation techniques to make it go smoother. Raquel is nurturing and knowledgeable and it was a huge relief to have her help through such an important and special yet challenging time!

Foi tudo simplesmente maravilhoso eu me senti muito bem cuidado foi a experiência mais maravilhosa da minha vida ter você no dia do parto gratidão muito obrigada. Eu amei receber você na minha durante a gravidez foi incrível que trabalho lindo você faz. O dia do parto foi o mais especial pra mim você esteve ao meu lado o tempo todo mais de 24 horas. E também me acompanhou de perto e também nas consultas com o pediatra. Toda mãe precisa de uma doula principalmente mãe de primeira viagem.
É difícil escolher só um momento mas gostaria de dizer que amo ver nossas fotos principalmente do dia do parto. Obrigada por segurar minha mão.
Eu sou muito grata de ter você na minha vida nessa fase tão especial principalmente porque minha mãe não pode está comigo. Foi mais que necessário ter você a disposição gratidão sempre.
Tudo o que eu precisei você fez por mim foi muito além das minhas expectativas.

I worked with Raquel as a post-partum doula after my twins were born.  She did daytime care.  She was very conscientous about their care, noting things that I might want to be aware of, like investigating if they had lip and tongue ties (it turns out they did).  She was very capable at caring for both babies at the same time, by herself.  She came with me to a few doctor's appointments and helped both care for the babies during the appointment and ask the right questions of the healthcare provider (I was tired and not always remembering everything).  She was also very helpful in organizing the nursery and keeping everything clean and in the right place.  I appreciated her support for me as well.  I didn't experience post partum depression or worries about parenting (I'm not a first time mom) this time around, but it was nice to have someone I could talk to about stuff and help with fun things like taking pictures (hard to do with two!).  And there were plenty of times I just took a nap, relaxed in the knowledge that my babies were in capable hands.  I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive post-partum doula.
