I have been blessed to experience a complete “Physiological childbirth,” and I credit that all to Marya, now a dear friend!!! I came to Marya traumatized and broken from my first child who I had through a “most-likely” unnecessary c-section. She not only took the time to get to know me and learn my story, but she helped me heal this trauma, at the same time as she was healing and preparing my body. Every session we talked about how the baby was doing, how my appointments went and any questions I had. She talked me off the ledge when I was falling into self-doubt after the doctors told me the likelihood of having a VBAC and even using the birthing tub. She continued to encourage me to stand my ground with my wishes and desires. After dedicating time to get through all our sessions, by the time my water broke that morning I knew I was ready! Of course, what was the first thing I did…call Marya, and as always, she was right there to help. She invited my husband and I over and we went through birthing techniques that could help me, we talked, and when I felt good, we headed to the hospital. Utilizing all of the tools she gave us; my daughter was born in just over 11 hours from when my water broke without a single medication. Yes, I screamed, yes it hurt, but having my daughter on my chest immediately after having her was the most incredible experience and I will never forget it. I wasn’t throwing up from anesthesia, I wasn’t missing out on all of the first pictures, she was in my arms, and we were still one. She was perfect. This whole experience was perfect. Marya made my dreams come true. Thank you!

Marya changed my entire perspective of childbirth with her work. I came to her with past trauma, anxiety, and fear. Each week she worked with me to allow my mind to fully let go of the past and to leave it there and not let it affect me anymore. I left her each time feeling free and more confident. When it came time to give birth, I had zero fear. I felt positive, and I felt POWERFUL. I was EXCITED to give birth!! I was in complete control. My breathing and my face was completely calm, the nurse didn’t even believe that I was in labor. In fact, she left my husband and I alone in the delivery room and I delivered my beautiful baby just my husband and I, having only been at the hospital for 10 minutes! I didn’t push a single time.

Marya made room for my baby, both mentally and physically and taught me how to gain my own power. I no longer fear birth and will practice all Marya taught me in my future births that I am well looking forward to:)

I now believe there is a bad, good, better, and best way to prepare for birth and Marya’s program teaches you the very best way, all you have to do is commit!
