Malorie was wonderful to have around. She quickly felt like a friend I had known for years and was very easy to talk to. She was not overbearing, but would still check in both before and after the birth of my son to let me know she was there for any support I needed. When I did go into labor my husband unfortunately was not feeling well and Malorie was right there to provide him items he needed as well as take over to support me while he got some rest. I delayed my epidural as long as I could and Malroie was very helpful with assisting and suggesting different positions to help alleviate pain and get my mind on other things. When my epidural did not go so well she continued to remind me to breathe and helped me to remain relaxed when I just wanted things to be over. Even though this was my second kid, this birth was very different, and I don't know if it would have gone the way it did without her. I would recommend Malorie to anyone looking for some extra support.

Right out of the gate we knew Malorie would be a great fit for our needs. She was very informative, non-judgemental and maintained a calm, reassuring demeanor throughout the entire process. Malorie's support and education leading up to the delivery was an invaluable resource to us. During times of uncertainty, Malorie's unwavering guidance and confidence in us really paved the way for us to have an informed and healthy delivery. Our educational sessions were critical in making us feel confident about the whole process, as well as informed but not stressed about potential risks. She took the time to answer all of our questions, both during our sessions, as well as over text/phone calls. She checked in on us regularly throughout the pregnancy, making us feel listened to and valued.

Throughout the labor and delivery she was a very reassuring and calming presence in the room with us, providing encouragement and helpful strategies to give us the best experience possible at the hospital. Malorie worked alongside hospital staff to advocate for Stephanie's preferences, including working through different positioning during labor, as well as ensuring skin to skin was a priority post delivery. We felt she went above and beyond our expectations to be there at the hospital with us, and advocate for mom and baby.

In post-partum, Malorie was one of our loudest cheerleaders. She checked in on us regularly, helped us adjust to parenthood and provide us with tips for caring for our newborn. She helped us find confidence in some of our most vulnerable moments, and always made sure our family was healthy both physically and mentally. If we ever require Doula services in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to approach Malorie.

Malorie assisted with the birth of our first child. She has a wonderful, calming presence, which was so helpful for my anxiety. She provided great information in our prenatal appointment to help us be more informed and prepared for what labor would feel like. She was a pivotal part of our birthing team. She helped my partner support me by guiding him through physical and emotional support techniques. My labor ended in a c-section due to concerns about my child's heart rate and the effects of prolonged labor. Malorie helped us carefully consider our options and advocated for my birth preferences. She also came to our home to help us during our postpartum period. My partner and I were suffering from extreme anxiety and the visit with Malorie was a major turning point in beginning to enjoy our time with our baby. She talked us through our birth story and helped with babywearing. She also provided us lactation support and recommended lactation consultants. Including Malorie in our birth was one of the best decisions we made.
