Working with Kate was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy and birth journey. I truly could not have made it through my pregnancy, let alone my very long—and quite literally a labor of love—labor and delivery, without her.

From every question, worry, and late-night text to the most challenging moments of labor, Kate was there. Always available, always supportive, and always exactly what we needed. She helped us feel informed, prepared, and confident every step of the way.

After 57 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing, Kate was quite literally my strength. Her calm presence, encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life. She knew exactly what I needed in every moment—from the honey sticks and labor comb to dimming the lights and then blasting music to re-energize the room when we needed it most.

Having Kate by our side made all the difference, and I will forever be grateful that she was part of our journey bringing Nico into the world. If you’re considering hiring a doula, this is your sign.

Kate was absolutely wonderful, and I cannot recommend her enough! We took two online classes with her, and both were extremely informative and helpful. She did such a great job explaining the different phases of labor and what to expect, which made me feel so much more confident and prepared going into birth.

When I went into labor, Kate was an incredible support. She walked me through when it was time to go to the hospital and stayed in communication with me throughout the entire process. She explained what was happening as labor progressed, which helped me feel calm, informed, and reassured during such a big and overwhelming experience. 

Beyond how knowledgeable she is, Kate is incredibly kind, personable, and easy to talk to. She genuinely made us feel comfortable and supported from start to finish. Having her there as part of our birth experience was such a gift, and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. If you are considering a doula, I would highly recommend Kate!

I had met Kate & Mary a couple of times prior to delivering my son. Right away I knew we connected and I was so happy to have her support! She listened to my birth plan while asking the right questions to make sure we were on the same page for when the day would come that I would go into labor. I truly felt taken care of. 
My labor was 36 hours long. Kate came in the middle of the night half way through and was the doula who would be there to get me across the finishline! I labored naturally & then opted for an epidural. Kate worked with me to make sure I was in different positions to move labor along for a vaginal delivery which was my ultimate goal. The end was intense and I could not have done it without Kate. She also helped my husband better support me. Kate kept me calm and was the voice of encouragement when I needed it. She also helped make everything seem normal and not to worry when nothing seemed normal. I am so grateful to her for this!

Couldn't have wished for a better doula. Kate was incredible. She labored with me at home and was such a calming, reassuring, confident, fun, helpful and interactive presence the entire time. In the hospital, she worked seamlessly with the midwives to make sure I had the best experience possible. I felt truly heard and understood the whole time and she went above and beyond to meet my needs and make sure I was as comfortable, present and calm as possible. 10/10 recommend. I was lucky to have found her and so grateful that she assisted me in the birth of my baby.

Kate provided exceptional educational and emotional support throughout my pregnancy. We specifically worked together to create a birth plan, discuss the stages and phases of labor, and prepare for the postpartum period.
