My husband and I are first time parents who were thrown for a loop when our little one's arrival didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped. After some tough and sleepless days and nights in the NICU and then Dad getting the flu, we spent the first week or two of our baby's life running on fumes. Fast forward to one particularly tough and seemingly endless night (morning) at 3AM when I browsed Doula Match thinking maybe we could find someone who could help us get back on our feet, but feeling uncertain and exhausted. That's when I landed on Liz's page and took a look at her website. Her optimism and expertise really shined through, and I emailed her right away. Before I even woke up the next morning I had a response from Liz with some suggested times to meet virtually to get to know each other and see how she could help!
From that very first video chat we knew we had found someone extraordinary. Liz's kindness, vast knowledge, and passion for what she does are next level. We immediately felt at ease with her--even in our most frazzled early weeks--and she provided such calm to me, my husband, and our baby (and even our dog!). She came 3-4 nights a week in the coming weeks and it completely changed our trajectory. She helped us feel more confident in our own abilities as parents, answered every single question we had about parenting and infant care-- large or small, and took incredible care of our baby while we got much-needed sleep. It helped us show up so much better for our baby the next morning and felt like such a luxury. We are so incredibly grateful for her time with us, and if you're in a similar boat and considering bringing in some much-needed help, you and your entire household will be in wonderful hands with Liz.

Liz was an amazing help to us in our early postpartum weeks. She was kind enough to work as our night doula. Her taking care of our son 1-2 nights a week for 8 hours per night so we could get some real, uninterrupted sleep was an absolute life-saver and game-changer for us as first time parents. She was always upbeat and very supportive, listened to any instructions we wanted to provide, and asked for feedback and ways she could improve (we never had anything to say to this, she was always great), and kept great notes of how things went with our son overnight. From diaper changes to feedings, keeping him settled and quiet, and being willing to do things like wash bottles or do baby laundry, Liz was awesome. We would definitely hire her again!

We are immensely grateful for the exceptional support Liz provided as our postpartum doula. As first-time parents, we were navigating uncharted territory, and Liz's expertise was invaluable. She took excellent care of our newborn son during her overnight stays, ensuring his well-being while also educating us on essential newborn care practices. Liz instilled confidence in both my husband and me, empowering us to care for our baby with assurance. Beyond her professional guidance, Liz offered heartfelt companionship during a particularly challenging postpartum period for me. She took the time to listen, providing the emotional support I desperately needed. Liz's presence was a beacon of comfort and strength during those difficult days. We wholeheartedly recommend Liz to any family seeking compassionate and knowledgeable postpartum support.

Liz was the doula of our dreams! As first time parents, we knew we wanted a support person to navigate the waters of the birth of our first baby. The moment we met Liz, we knew she was the doula for us. She was warm, genuine, and knowledgeable, making it very clear our agency and preferences for the birth would be protected. We loved the prenatal appointments with Liz, as she came incredibly prepared with worksheets that shared just the right amount of information about birth and things we could do to practice and prepare. She was a natural teacher with a background in education. During the birth, Liz was a champ — she ensured we were always well informed, confident in our decision making, and in control of the birth. She supported me as the birther and my partner in different ways. After the birth, Liz visited us twice and gave us incredible baby advice and a chance to reflect on the birth. We are so grateful for Liz and can only hope we have a doula as amazing as her for any future kids we have!

Liz was our doula when our baby was 9 weeks old. She did a great job following the list of tasks that we wanted her to do. She also was very kind and her support helped me build confidence in my parenting skills
