I can't sing Rebecca's praises enough. She was instrumental in creating a great birthing experience for both myself and my fiance, Brad.
By the time we called Rebecca in my contractions were one minute apart and lasting about a minute in duration each. I was in excruciating pain but wasn't ready to get an epidural just yet. Rebecca immediately jumped in to help with setting up a heating pad in the right location and recommended/helped get me in different positions to help ease the pain. She worked in tadem with the nurse as well as helped suggest how Brad could be involved too with hands on support during my contractions.
When I finally got an epidural, the pain I was experiencing didn't go away. It was Rebecca who alerted the nurse and anesthesiologist that she thought the epidural was placed wrong. She insisted that they take another look and if it wasn't for her, I think my continued pain would have been ignored. She was right! They redid the epidural and finally, all my pain was relieved.
As a first time parent, we had no idea what to expect in labor & delivery. Rebecca's knowledge as a doula for what happens in the room was incredibly helpful and put us at ease throughout the entire delivery. She created a soothing environment but knew exactly when to jump into action too. If we have a second child, we will absolutely be calling Rebecca to be our doula again. My only regret is is not calling Rebecca into the delivery room sooner! THANK YOU, REBECCA!!

Rebecca is an amazing doula and post partum doula and birth coach.
I interviewed many doulas and Rebecca really stood out because of her extensive experience. I needed extra support from my doula and worked with Rebecca 6 months prior to my birth. I met with her once a week and she helped me feel confident and prepared for my labor. She is also a certified yoga instructor and in-tune with energy so we worked through a lot!
Rebecca was also very supportive to my husband as well and made everything easier for us.
I ended up having a c-section because of the position of the baby and had Rebecca in the room with me. She made sure I was doing ok and snapped some incredible photos to boot.
Rebecca has continued helping me post partum and is one of the very few people I trust to watch for my infant.

We could not have done it without Rebecca! After 39 hours of laboring in the hospital, we had a healthy vaginal delivery that would not have happened without Rebecca. I'm confident I would have ended up with a c section if not for her support and involvement.
Rebecca was by our side every step of the way, ensuring we were comfortable, staying hydrated and fed, helping to manage contractions, changing positions, moral support, coaching my husband...the list goes on and on.
With our long labor, we had several induction interventions, and Rebecca helped us manage through it all. She made sure we had time to make decisions and helped us ask questions to be more informed where needed.
She helped keep elements of our birth plan in tact, helped baby move from sunny side up to the proper position, and helped us document the process with photos and videos. I really can't thank Rebecca enough for what she did for us during labor and delivery.
At one point, she diagnosed that my pitocin drip had stopped (blown IV) which the nurses did not identify and likely would have resulted in a c-section if we didn't catch it when she did.
In addition, during our pre-delivery and postpartum meeting, she ensured we had the right resources to be informed, prepared and supported throughout pregnancy, L&D, and postpartum periods.
She is truly amazing and was such and critical element in our labor and delivery story.
