Laura Anderson is such a wonderful doula. She was the warm heart and helpful hands that I needed during a difficult period of postpartum depression. Laura spent time with me while my husband was on business trips and I was at home on my own with my toddler and new born. My kids absolutely love Laura and we can't wait to spend more time with her.

My husband and I had a calm, beautiful, supportive, non-stressful birth experience (and also the hardest experience of my life) and it has to be attributed to Laura’s leadership and guidance during our 17 hour labour. As a gentle leader, she just knew what to do at any given moment. She reassured and educated us on what my body was experiencing throughout. Laura and my husband worked perfectly together to support me with anything that I needed. Her support reassured my husband and helped him help me in the best possible way. She was a strong presence when needed and she slipped into the background when appropriate to let my husband lead. I could feel her support during every moment of labour. Throughout the labour, Laura implemented all the strategies and birth wishes we had discussed ahead of time. She supported me exactly as we had discussed. In our prenatal visits, she empowered us by sharing so much knowledge and wisdom as well as answering all our questions based on research without any hint of her opinion or judgement.
She will forever be our daughters fairy godmother since she played such a pivotal role in her entrance on earth.
If you are looking for a kind, empowering, supportive, fun, calm, very intelligent and highly skilled doula; she is the women for you! We will have Laura support us for all our future births.
