Doula Training

Type of practice: Independent contractor with a doula agency

Clients per month: 1 to 2

Postpartum limits/restrictions: I provide overnight Postpartum Doula service and my Postpartum Doula overnight hours are 9pm-6am. For daytime availability, I am available 5pm-10pm on weekdays (usually in 4 to 6 hour shifts), and am also available for weekend daytime shifts from 9am-9pm (usually in 4 to 6 hour shifts).

I am a DONA trained Postpartum Doula with Expecting Joy Doulas. It's an honor to help new & growing families welcome their babies home, and to care for the recovering birth person during this precious postpartum period. I love to help make this transition as smooth as possible and set your family up for success so that you can enjoy this time together. It's my pleasure to instill confidence in your parenting skills & newborn care abilities to create calm in the home and to help your family maximize sleep. I love baby-wearing and teaching families about the benefits of this & keeping babies close. I charge on a sliding scale that works for your family and needs, based on my experience and knowledge as a Postpartum Doula.
